Gaea: Ohsi, and others,
To be honest, I'm not going to be able to give you the answer you're looking for. Your post is straightforward, honest and well written, and I applaud that, and am happy to see our players go into so much detail and determination to describe their thoughts about our game and their issues. To me, this shows how much you really do enjoy our game and how much you want it to improve.
Seeing how much effort was put into here and how many players agree and discussed this, I will definitely take this thread as strong feedback, and be sure that this gets moved up to those it concerns. I will do my best to provide you with more feedback or answers, opinions, and/or advice from our developers and designers, all I ask is for your patience in this matter.

baronnn, on Oct 02 2012 - 22:22, said: Eh, it's your decision. But if you shut the playerbase out of these decisions like WG does for every other aspect of the game, there will be no competitive future for this game. I can tell you right now that the Arracourt format was not well received by the top teams. In fact the recent formats haven't been at all.
We need more Classic leagues, more PAX Event 2.0's, more in-your-face variations that emphasize out-tanking the enemy over camping and cautiously scouting until one scout or the other is dead. Even an 8/90 for the classic league like a champion TC would be pretty much the most amazing thing that could happen right now. Just so long as there's none of that tier 8 arty nonsense, that just makes everyones head hurt. I don't think you guys understand how tremendously unfun it is to have tier 8 arty shooting at tier 8 tanks. I want these tournaments to be about who out-played who in a pitched tank battle, not about who one-shotted the first tank they saw by putting an oval over it. It's why I'll pretty much refuse to play in any 8/42 format that has tier 8 arty.
I figured this needed to be said, since many people want the Classic League to be amazing. And for that to be amazing, you need to ditch some of the things I'm seeing you guys doing now. They don't give me great confidence for the future.

Agrona: What we did to make up for that was add more gold in for the
winners. I am trying something new with these contests to try and
make it easier for more people to participate. So feedback is
awesome and I welcome it. We want to make these contests work best
for you guys, so for now I will leave it as it is so I am not
mixing things up halfway, but I will think about adding more
placements in the future.

it would be nice if you could give us some clarifications of this new All Star format.
As I understand it from the announcement, we can participate in any tier 3 tank ( and "tank" I assume to mean any tier 3 vehicle in game including TDs and SPGs). Then for any tank there will be 3 top places awarded gold, so there will be in total ~ 20 1st places to get 12k gold, and as many 2nd places, and 3rd places. Is this correct?
Two potential uncertainties here are:
1. Does "tank" include TDs and SPGs?
2. Did you really mean to have ~20 1st place awards as it seems to explicitly state, or just 1.
Thank you for any info you might provide.

Agrona: Hi,
So yes, any tier 3 Vehicle and it's the top 3 overall. So there will only be one 1st place one 2nd place and one 3rd place. Not a 1-3 ranking for each vehicle.

GeneralDirection: Hey folks,
Unfortunately there was a bug introduced in 8.0 that has broken certain percentage increases for credit income. At the moment the Chaffee is only earning 20% additional credits because of this bug. With that in mind, we're going to attempt to change this to 30% for the second Rollout for October, and will definitely change it to 30% for November.

People can throw together a good 1 min spot in about 8 hrs. What you are going to end up with is thousands of really bad videos to have to weed through.
Creating yet another creative contest that is doomed to take too long to judge is just adding fuel to the fire. I want you guys to succeed, but you just keep shooting your own feet.
