Captain_Judo: The option was only to replace players. You could only add a player under the condition that another comes out.
Teams will be offered an opportunity to add new players to their roster at the end of the season. Three players (out of a maximum 10) will be required to remain with your team.
With that said, all roster changes will be completed by the end of the day tomorrow.

Captain_Judo: I've spoken with all involved staff to get a better understanding of what occurred (and went wrong) during the anniversary tournament event. I'm sorely disappointed that we failed you all this last weekend. Our priority is to provide the best experience for you, our competitive player base. Suffice to say that this last weekend we fell short.
The aforementioned compensation is still being prepared. I understand that the offer isn't very popular. But I'm here to focus on recapping the event and sharing with you our thoughts on avoiding this in the future.
On Friday, our team had noticed some tournament settings immediately needed correction and were corrected before the tournament began. Unfortunately, the special battles you were invited to did not contain the updated information. What transpired was a sequence of events that snowballed into a disaster.
We uncovered the root cause of that issue and know how to ensure this doesn't happen again. We are also implementing new steps to our design protocol in order to ensure issues are completely avoided.
As you're all aware, Friday night's group stage was cancelled and the following day presented a bold scheduling challenge. Our team was only prepared to schedule approximately 70-80% of the teams that would have been eliminated Friday evening. A plan was presented to make up for this lost day. Unfortunately, Saturday was a scheduling nightmare that only compounded Friday's issue.
We are preeminently designing schedules planning for such emergencies. We fully intend to avoid a similar mishap in the future and are drawing out plans for the best procedure should a similar situation inevitably present itself. This includes, based on your feedback and our analysis of the weekend, working with the time constraints initially presented in the original schedule. If a feasible plan can't be put in place, we are not immune to postponing or even cancelling the event.
You, our competitive player base, are our biggest priority. We pride ourselves in offering the best, competitive experience possible and we take our job to deliver that seriously. And I want to make sure you all know that we are working hard to deliver on that commitment.
I implore everyone to consider participating in this week's upcoming Tank Talk - Ep4 guest, Lord_Farquad (Head of NA eSports). Your questions will be addressed live on Twitch TV. This is an excellent opportunity to get your urgent eSports thoughts and questions answered.

CatStalker: At this time I don't have any more information about how the "scout" designation might affect those tanks, so I also don't know what it means for the ones not listed.

CatStalker: I don't recall hearing of any changes to the t-50-2 in 8.5

CatStalker: Correct. It the Sexton got pulled from 8.5, but it is still planned to be added in a future patch.

Yoott: the research points will be credited towards the next tank going up the tree is how it has worked before..... I would not expect any giant refunds or credits .. sometimes if I remember right they will credit for a module or something but never for a whole tank... normally that gets credited to the next in this case arty in the line...
