First of all, I want to apologize for the wait some players have been experiencing. Some of you have not been able to download it, some have resorted to third party resources and some have been chugging along with hopes a clean installation is not needed. This has been a rough several weeks for the World of Tanks Mac community. 

I bring good news, though!

Once the 9.2 World of Tanks update goes live, the current WoT Mac Wrapper links will work again and they will connect to our servers for downloading.  The release of update 9.2 is very close, so just a little more patience and we will be able to get our Mac community back on the battlefield!

Again, we apologize for the confusion and hope to get this rectified soon.

dance210:   Skirmish: Weekly, casual tournaments. These are geared towards the majority of the player base who are interested in competitive play/tournaments. The format (tier, team size, restrictions, maps, etc) change weekly, allowing players to pick the tournament(s) that work best for them. Players can sign up either for the week-long Group Stage + Playoffs (Monday - Sunday) or for the Playoffs only (Friday - Sunday). There are usually many winners, as brackets are limited to 16 teams :)   Challenge: Monthly tournament, usually modeled around a historical event/person. Challenges are always 5v5, but change tier/maps each month. The gold prize is higher, but you also have to put in more work to make it to 1st place. It is also a single bracket after the Group stage, so there is one victor each month.   Clan tournaments: Dedicated to our players in clans. The exhibition tournament teams are composed of only players from that clan. Gold received from these exhibition tournaments go directly to the clan treasury.   WGLNA: Wargaming league, this is the top eSports tournament that we offer. It's a league, which means that it requires several months dedication from the players. Teams can progress up the ladder to the Gold league, where the top teams compete for real money. For those interested in more serious competitive play or who prefer leagues, this is the place for you :)   If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask! We're always happy to help out

 We don't post on the group stage because 1) not all teams may check there and 2) there were 272 teams from week long + 150 from bravo registration - not feasible or efficient use of time.   Here's the deal, gold can take up to 7 days after the END of the ENTIRE tournament to be credited to your account. That is posted in the Skirmish rules, and some of our awesome players have even mentioned that in this thread.   So, perhaps assume that gold will be in your account in 7 days. That way, when it gets there sooner, you can be pleasantly surprised.

veganzombiez:   Remove the mods first, and see if that solves the problem.   If not, remove any mods, and then submit your DxDiag, python, WoTLauncher (latter two are in your World of Tanks install folder) to Support. We'll be able to look more indepth.

veganzombiez: Replays are generally only playable on the version of the client in which they were recorded.  That means if your client is set for 9.1, you may not be able to play replays from previous versions.

veganzombiez: Remove any mods (so you don't get the obligatory "remove mods" reply), and then submit your DxDiag, python, WoTLauncher (latter two are in your World of Tanks install folder) to Support. One of the more tech savvy CSRs will be able to take a look.

veganzombiez:   If you haven't updated in a while, your firewall/av might be blocking the .exe.  Remove the worldoftanks.exe from your whitelist, and then re-add it.   You may also need to forward ports:   UDP Range: 20014 and 32801-32825
TCP Range: 53, 80, 443, 3128, 8081, 8088, 20000-25000, 32801, and 32803     If that fails, send in a ticket to Support so we can try some more indepth things.

veganzombiez:   Obligatory "remove mods first".  Most of the times when people have issues leaving Sniper mode, it has to do with graphical settings themselves.  Drop to "Standard Graphics" first, or set graphics to low, and go up from there.  Also, you may need to update GPU drivers.   If none of that works, submit your DxDiag, python, WoTLauncher (latter two are in your World of Tanks install folder) to Support.  We'll take a look at your computer's specs and go from there.

dance210:   The semifinals and finals will be on Sunday. Any later and it interferes with the next Skirmish. I'll get it fixed tomorrow.

We would need to reduce the group size by two teams to make it end earlier.   To ensure 2 minutes between battles, it looks like it would need to be at least 14 min between battles...we decided if that was the case we would stay with the normal group stage timing of 15 min.
