dance210: Alright y'all, I understand that you're frustrated and I don't
blame you. However do NOT take it out on each other. Answers
to some questions: 1. Will battles be replayed tomorrow?
Unsure at this time. I don't want to say you will, if special
battles is still broken tomorrow. 2. What about
compensation? Again, that will unfortunately have to wait until
tomorrow, when every one else is in the office :( 3. Can't
we send in screenshots/replays? Not all captains may see that
screenshots/replays are needed for the battles to count. As it's
unfair, I don't believe we'll be using them to correct the scores.
If you have more questions, I'll try and answer them as I
can.

dance210: Hey guys, sorry for the delay in responding! We've been trying to
figure out what's going on. First, the battles DO NOT count.
Something happened with Special Battles after 7 pm (looks like it
affected CW and the Skirmish), which means that unfortunately the
battle results weren't recorded :( Apologies for not getting
this to you sooner, but feel free to NOT go in to the last couple
of battles, unless you want more practice.

rematch versus Team: UAW 2 on Thursday (16OCT2014)?? Please

wipe of the round's results. As until now, it's been either
everyone gets a make-up or nobody does. We've amended the skirmish
rules (V2.1) to offer unique remakes of rounds based on several
factors on case by case basis.

mean, the fact of the matter is, it's encouraging teams to cheat
the sides with characters or Z's in their name. It's explicitly
against the rules, but I refuse to believe that there aren't a good
proportion of teams trying to game the system. Honestly,
after the stacked sides on the first day, I realized that side 1
was much better (at least for the strat I was running). This was
confirmed after the second day. So I was hoping that at the very
least, WG would make the third day balanced (or if anything, give
us more of side 1 as compensation). But nope.

which is why we reserve the right to change team names, even when
appropriate. They system seems to be picking sides randomly
now (e.g. no more teams starting with !! always getting side 1);
however, that doesn't mean that teams will be equally distributed
between sides 1 and 2. As an FYI, we doesn't "pick" which side a
team gets, that is all done automatically. Unfortunately, I
can't see the image that you tried to upload and I don't know your
team name to check manually. If you feel as though there is a
problem with this or any tournament, please feel free to PM me
directly and/or send an email to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com.
While I can't promise you'll always like my answer, I do read every
PM, either through the forums or via email. Edit:

locais especificos, como por exemplo museus. Dêem suas

it counted as a draw then no one forfeited any battles, it would be
as if the first battle never happened, thus evening the playing
field, for as of right now the few teams that didn't have the
packet loss problem essentially got a freebee over the rest of us
for potential points earned (assuming they won). Also one battle
will not affect a team to the extent of dropping them from Alpha
Playoffs. It will determine however who truly deserves to be in the
top 10% and earn 5k gold for the group stage. For example my
team Liquid Myth missed the top 10% by 1 point and that was because
we were one of the teams who experienced serious packet loss and
basically had a draw forced upon us and same goes for the team we
faced that first battle (quack attack!). That is a potential of 2
points that we missed out on, and as I stated, 1 point can mean the
difference between top 10% and top 20%. So for clarity: I am
not saying this solution I am offering is perfect as you are right
the teams who didn't experience packet loss do deserve their
wins, but again they are a minority in this case and in a big
picture easy fix for all perspective, either scrapping or
considering the first battle as a draw is the best option.

Monday remakes are played after group play Tuesdays Tuesday remakes are played after group play Wednesdays Wednesday remakes are played before tie breakers
Captain_Judo: This will allow us to grant individual remakes if there is a
need. Teams must be available to play after group stages on Monday
and Tuesday nights or before tie-breaker rounds on Thursdays.
All requests are managed on a case-by-case basis and there
is no guarantee that a remake will be granted. Any score
implications on Thursday tiebreakers will be addressed through
the forum PM.

it counted as a draw then no one forfeited any battles, it would be
as if the first battle never happened, thus evening the playing
field, for as of right now the few teams that didn't have the
packet loss problem essentially got a freebee over the rest of us
for potential points earned (assuming they won).
So for clarity: I am
not saying this solution I am offering is perfect as you are right
the teams who didn't experience packet loss do deserve their
wins, but again they are a minority in this case and in a big
picture easy fix for all perspective, either scrapping or
considering the first battle as a draw is the best option.
twitchtvCommanda0, on Oct 15 2014 - 11:09, said: Or the botched battles could be rescheduled for Thursday, the day
that has been reserved for tiebreakers or for redoing group stages
in the event of technical difficulties. I doubt that WG has asked
for replays from affected teams for no reason. Redoing battles
would be the fairest way to determine placing as teams that got
hard earned victories would keep that victory while teams that lost
wouldn't benefit. Actually another compromise could be to
remove the draw only from the affected teams and let
them continue from there, considering that fighting less teams
overall is still considered 'fair' by WG
Skirmish Rules v2.1 Remakes & Server Issues Remakes: Granted at the discretion of tournament administration only under the condition that both team captains agree to replay the round. Each team captain must submit a replay of the round to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com within 24 hours. A forum PM must be directed to Dance210 that includes both team captains and confirms each captain's consent to a remake. Tournament administration will use the forum PM to confirm if a remake is granted. If a remake is granted, it will be scheduled to play after the next day's group battles or before tiebreakers. must be clear across the board. That is, it's an issue that affects
all participating teams. This was not the case on Monday
night. The majority of teams were not influenced by server issues
and forcing a remake of the round is unfair to the majority of
tournament participants. With that said, based on the
replays that were provided, we recognize the need to uniquely
address individual games. Immediately in effect is the following..

The_Chieftain: It'a an upgraded vehicle. Much like the M60A3 was an upgrade to the
A1, or the M1A2 SEP is an upgrade to the IPM1. They're not true
derivatives like Cromwell to Comet, but given the scores of
changes which went into production over the course of M4's life, it
certainly can't be directly equivalented to the original spec M4 of
1942 either. You're thinking of the Sherman/Cromwell
discussion over on WT?

series to teach players, please put up the videos on your Twitch
channel so players can view the series on their own time.
Otherwise, it's quite pointless cause most people can't watch the
series during the time of broadcast, but most people would gladly
watch the videos on your channel when they have the chance.
