dance210:   Teams are ONLY declined if they are in any state other than Pending Approval OR if it doesn't have the minimum number of players. So, if your team was Formed or Forming, then it was automatically declined when registration closed.   FYI, if you want "full" detail, it helps if you tell me what team you are talking about...

HBFT:   There is a pretty good list of premiums here.  If you see a blue star next to the tank name then that is considered a rare tank.  

HBFT:   I think the gold reward below should cover that! :)   Prizes (to Clan Treasury) -As Clan Emblem changes are free until December 20, 2014, only Clans that submit an entry (within the rules) and change their Clan emblem after the 20th of December, 2014 will receive 1,000 Gold to cover the costs of the emblem change (500 to apply it, and 500 to revert back to the original after the contest ends). All clans that change their emblem prior to December 20, 2014 will just get the 500 Gold to revert to the original emblem.

pizzastorm: I never said anything about Togtober. I AM saying that Christmas specials will be pretty good. I've seen them with my own eyes and can attest.  But no need to believe me, just wait a while longer and you can judge for yourself!

pizzastorm: Hey Tankers,   We are aware that many of you are unhappy with the Winter Wunderland mission currently running. We wanted to make sure that you did not think that this was all that was coming, or that we were neglecting our NA players.   I just talked with our events team and can assure you that there are things coming this month that will make (most) everyone happy. There will be the events and specials that you expect, but there will also be some things that have never been seen before.   Yes, our specials are starting a bit slower than our counterparts, but a lot of our stuff is packed towards the middle to the end of this month.   Sit tight, enjoy what is available now, and leave any constructive suggestions/feedback you have for the events team here since they are reading this thread!

dance210:   If your team is currently showing as Pending Approval, then you have signed up for the Bravo (weekend only) registration. All teams that registered for the entire week have been accepted.

The_Chieftain: As an interim stop to control rotating band failures, the design of the basic T116E5 projectile was changed to include a wider band and a band seat 0.125 inch deeper. The modified projectile was designated the T116E6. With respect to body engraving,it was noted that shot with rubber obturator had been fired without any evidence of engraving. It was felt, therefore that this type of device should be investigated further. Consequently, the inclusion of such an obturator in the design of the T116E6 shot resulted in its being redesignated the T116E7.

The_Chieftain: OK, as for Tortoise, if you're at the back of the vehicle facing forwards, look on the left side 'mystery slope'. A small rearward hinging hatch at the far front left is labelled as "Charging Set Access Door", implying that the charging set (4 cyl, 8hp Morris) takes up much of the interior of that compartment. The larger hatch on that side, further to the rear of the vehicle and hinging forward is labelled "Storage battery access door", The equivalent area on the right hand side of the vehicle is labelled "Stowage bins".   As a result, the assymetrical armoring in the WoT model appears to be justified.

The_Chieftain:   I looked up the Army's specs for M358 (T116E7). At 1,000 yards, it's rated for 9.2" (234mm) at 0 degrees, 8.1" at 30 degrees. That's striking at 3,250fps with a muzzle velocity of 3,500fps. The figures at 2,000 yards are 8.8", 7.6", and 3,000 fps. If the 250fps drop resulted in about .45" drop in penetration, I guess it's reasonable to assume that at muzzle the round will penetrate 250mm, so WTGF's figure is about a two-third inch high.   The 19.5" penetration at 1,000 yards / 0 degrees was on T102 series HVAPDS (4,800fps muzzle) (T123 cannon)

Pigeon_of_War:   Sorry I'm a bit late to the party but for more clarification on Free cam mods: They are banned in battle in any circumstance of the battle. This provides an unfair advantage of the enemy essentially having "god mode" for observation. It is permitted in replays since the battle has already occurred and you can use this for video editing or research on your battle.  Good rule of thumb, if you are in battle and a mod can detach the camera from the tank, it's banned.
