Trevzor:   I can confirm that all groups are seeded completely randomly by our tournament management system.   I believe in full transparency, so if we were to move to "Skrimish Style" seeding, it would be in the rules set.   Sometimes when the RGG (Random Group Generator) is in play, groups can be extra tough, or super easy. It's all part of being random.

pizzastorm: Heads up to those who have made their cards already.   I wrote that it was the 3rd anniversary when it was really the 4th! Where did all of that time go?   If you wrote 3rd anniversary do not worry about it, we will not count it against you.

pizzastorm:   1) You will know that we got it once you get goooooold. Other than that, I am not sure how to track it in the mail.  2) A small box should be fine 3) As long as you include it with the card somewhere.

The_Chieftain:   OK, here's the deal. The ticket was processed on Feb 9th. The complaint was about verbal abuse by a player. We acted upon the verbal abuse of the player. The ticket was thus closed. It seems the agent didn't pick up on the name of the abuser, he simply did exactly what the ticket required be done, closed it out, and moved to the next one.   The name itself was picked up again yesterday, and since changed.

Lert: I don't see a problem. The graphs look significant because of the scaling. Look at that last one - the highest peak in the graph still signifies less than 2.5 incoming premium shells per match. I know I get fired at a lot more than 2.5 times per match on average. What we need is a graph of premium shells incoming vs total shells incoming.

HBFT: Many of you may have heard about [4ZKN]Datatech, a fellow Wargamer who needed the community's help.  Unfortunately, Datatech passed away days from physically making it to PAX East with his wife and two sons, who were still able to attend PAX East in his honor.   As a tribute to Datatech, the Wargaming Chicago office put together a small video that they presented to his family depicting his favorite tank: the M4 Sherman.  Datatech's family requested that this tribute be shared with all of you.     Thank you to everyone who made it possible for a fellow Wargamer's family to realize a dream together.  You all contributed whether it was monetarily, verbally, or even with good thoughts.  I am proud to be a part of a community that takes care of its own and I know that Datatech and his family feel the same.

The_Chieftain:   I used that term in the office, once, when we're talking about flights somewhere. It took General Direction a moment or two to figure it out, then he fell apart laughing. Interestingly, though I'm fairly sure I never invented the term, I can't recall anyone ever using it. Oh-Dark-Thirty is far more common.  

The_Chieftain:   I'll take on most anything on the map with a Cleveland, and I will take on anything on the map with a Des Moines.  

The_Chieftain: Yes, you are. I'm not sure the reason of the rules, and re-rollers may suddenly find themselves hammered, but normally we tend to leave them alone unless they're specifically brought to our attention somehow, either by behaviour or complaint.

pizzastorm:   Pigeon_of_War just tested this for me. The emblem will still be waiting for your tank if you sell it and re-buy it. 

pizzastorm: Seems like everyone has figured it out already but just wanted to confirm that the text on the article will be updated with the correct description shortly.   You can accomplish this missions once per vehicle. Completing it unlocks an emblem which can be applied to any tank you choose.   You can apply the emblem in both slots.   Apologies for any confusion this may have brought about.

dance210: I guess it depends on how you define positive and negative.   Does it get rid of the group stage seeding? No, although it may be tweaked slightly. Does it adjust the gold prizes? Yes.  Will all y'all like the changes? I'm going to go with no, simply because it doesn't go back to the old format  

dance210: I'm sorry, but even with 93% voting that they dislike the change, that is only ~5% of the players who participate in the Skirmish each week. And, to be fair, the decision to change the Skirmishes wasn't based solely, or even predominately, on player feedback. Yes, we like hearing feedback. And yes, I have talked to some people about where we are going with the Skirmishes and what I hope to see happen down the road. But ultimately, player feedback is only a part of our decision-making process.   The Skirmish format reached a point where it needed to change. We already introduced the format change; when Skirmish 13 is published, the new gold prizing will be introduced. If that still isn't quite right, we'll take another look and change things as needed.   It is extremely doubtful that the old format/prizing will be re-introduced as it was.
