So gather your friends, grab your favorite tanks and defend your base. As a daily tournament, you can choose whether you want to Stand-To every day or only once in a while.   All active tournaments can be found by searching the Tournaments Home Page. Curious what's happening this month? Check out our eSports calendar!     Starting this week, a player now has two ways to register for the Stand-To tournaments! When you create the team, make sure that you are using the correct registration! Register as a Team! Registration works the same as normal. Team captain makes a team and recruits players to join. A complete team has 4 - 5 players. Captains do not need to submit their team; all teams with the minimum number of players will be accepted. The team is now ready to fight once the tournament starts! Register as a Solo player or as part of a Party! A party is a group of players that does not meet the minimum team size requirements. Create a team. The_Chieftain:   All you need to do is just mount something akin to the accessory rail in place of the regular hand-grip. This is the official one, I'm sure there are others. https://steyrarms.co...y-rail-kit.html . Then either put a rail cover on the bottom, or an angled foregrip (I've not tried one, but I think I'd prefer it to the vertical).   However, unless you plan on hanging multiple things off the side of it (and more than just one or two, such as on mine, http://worldoftanks....eaps/tpdaxr.jpg , ) I honestly see no reason to change out the foregrip.   On other matters, I'm in Reno. Hotel restaurant/bar is a Western theme, they have country music on. I must admit to a certain liking and fascination for line dancing. I find the synchronisation of the dancers quite intriguing. I have to assume that each 'set' consists of only a reasonably small number of repeated steps, but there seem to be a whole lot of 'sets', and I think it interesting that no matter the age of the folks dancing, they all seem to know them all, and fall right on in with the group. There was a massive line dancing craze in Ireland in the early 1990s, for some odd reason. Nobody figured it out, but it was likely caused by the popularity of Garth Brooks, Billy-Ray Cyrus and Rednex (I'm told originally started by a scene in Thelma and Louise). To the extent that when Garth decided to come out of retirement last year, he booked Dublin as his launch city, not Nashville or any such. Since I apparently have a vaguely suitable hat, maybe I should look into lessons.

The_Chieftain: Of interest, one of the other chaps invited to the event has put his own opinion up on Reddit.   Katori, the gas port is underneath. It's a short-stroke piston, the gas port has three settings (though I can't imagine you using "grenade" for anything unless you decide to never clean the rifle, ever). As for the foregrip, I'm not a fan of vertical grips and usually leave the grip folded forward. The support arm is brought much closer than you would be used to, and actually cups the trigger guard.  http://edge.liveleak...df3ef3_sf_8.jpg It works very well. The rearward balance of the bull pup(why are they called bull pups anyway?) allows for this very nicely, you're almost cuddling the weapon to yourself.   As for WoWS, I'm almost through with Balitimore. I'll be glad to be rid of it.  

The_Chieftain: If we are reluctant to put M60A1 into the game due to OP concerns, let alone M60A3, I can't see M1 going in. What would the thermals do!?

The_Chieftain: I put a trigger tamer on my AUG/AXR, and I have no complaints about it at all. Sure, it's not a precision trigger like you'd find on a match AR or a Kimber Custom, but for battle rifle purposes, it's more than acceptable. People seem to forget that firefights tend to come with adrenaline rushes which rather degrade fine motor precision a bit, as it is, my current trigger setting may be a bit too light.   90mm SPAT M56, a mere four pages. I think I've only the one GMC yet to go.

GhostPrime:   I unfortunately don't have that information, but the Turan III is a fun tank. It's definitely not a front line tank, I wouldn't go out in front of everyone,(It is a medium tank)  but it's good on the battlefield for the above mentioned reasons.

The_Chieftain: This question and my answers got me thinking. https://www.reddit.c...nker_of/d1tg017 The common perception is that a Sherman crew wwould be somewhat disconcerted if they ran into a cat. The unspoken implication being that the German tank crew would be less afraid because they were dealing with a "mere" Sherman. Talking to Tom reinforced my already extant impression that he viewed all enemies with anti tank weapons as worthy of respect, and similarly as targets to service and try to kill. It occurs to me that there is no reason to think that the Germans felt any differently: That the adrenaline rush caused by going into battle against a capable enemy determined to kill you is going to strongly override any theoretical assessments you may come up with in the rear, and you just fall back on your training and do your job as your best chance of survival. This is probably with a hatch article

GhostPrime: It's my thinking and understanding that this issue is partially related to a driver/GPU type/combination. That is what I urge you all to send in tickets on the matter. First make sure mods are removed, and your video drivers are up to date. (Feel free to install the mods again after the information is gathered to send in with the ticket.)

The_Chieftain: If http://www.panzerworld.com/jagdtiger is correct, a small number of JTs were lost due to action against US tanks. 

The_Chieftain: It's a snorkel mount.    Over a production run as long as T-55's, you can expect that there would be detail changes. The last production batches built in the USSR intended for export had the snorkel mounted on the right side of the turret.
