Quote was expecting a bit of a louder bang noise in the inside
The_Chieftain: Not an uncommon misconception. Remember, though, that there
are several inches of metal between you and the bang. It is far
louder outside the tank than inside, as there is uninterrupted line
of audio from the muzzle to your ear. Instead, what you get is the
very rapid movement of a ton of metal a couple of inches away
to about a foot to the rear, the sharp, if muffled thud of the
gun (not a boom or a crack), then the very loud clanging of the
breech snapping open followed by (in a non-UK tank) the casing or
aft cap bouncing its way to the floor, all while the tank rocks its
sixty something tons back. Raz, I've passed it up, but I
doubt we can do much with it, unless he's associated his real name
with the account somehow.

Subject: T32, I want my T29 back, but I want an E5 more
Link on message: #10450600
Link on message: #10450600
The_Chieftain: The problem with using the 'current meta' as a baseline is that
it's, well, a meta designed with specific rules which reward a
specific form of play. IS-3 is better at close-range brawling than
T32, and that's the way the games seem to be played. I have my
own opinions on the way WoT is played competitively, but it's not
as if bringing my T32 along is lambasted when the majority of the
rest of the team uses IS-3s. A different role is found for it,
usually delaying or disruption. However, for those of us who
rarely, if ever, play E-Sports, the meta is utterly irrelevant,
what is important is how it plays in the game in general. Again, I
draw attention to your own performance in both the IS-3 and T32.
You have more damage per game, more kills per game, a higher
kill/death ratio, a higher win rate, higher damage caused/received
ratio in T32 than IS-3, and sometimes those numbers aren't even
close. If you want to talk about things that you have experience
in, how do you explain your own demonstrated experience with the
two tanks?

stats. I can't help but notice that she (?) has done substantially
better with T32 than IS-3 in almost all stats. I'm curious to see
the explanation.

however. If you watch my streams, you will frequently hear me
cursing at the low-depression tanks I sometimes play, because I
just cannot get shots off which an American tank can. And, of
course, IS-3s are almost blind on their own, which they frequently
are. It makes up for it, note how the server win rate for the two
tanks are all but identical. (OK, a smidgen in favour of T-32, but
near as makes no difference) Don't get me wrong, I highly
respect IS-3s. I just find them very situational. T32s, however, I
honestly enjoy playing.

The_Chieftain: Like most of the other American heavies, it's not one designed for
in-your-face brawling. If you're trying that, you're probably doing
something wrong. The 105 isn't bad, it just isn't the same god-like
cannon it was down at Tier VII. It's quite serviceable, just be
sure to think of it in perspective. The gun is certainly no worse
than that found on medium tanks at that tier, and nobody ever says
that, say, a Pershing or T-54 are unable to cause damage.
Which is, I think, where the T32 really comes into it. It's not
fast enough to be a medium, but it is fast enough to keep up with
them, if you can grasp where I'm coming from. It's flexible enough
to hold its own wherever the fight is, and plenty strong enough to
backstop your own mediums in whatever it is they are doing. As a
result, I tend to treat it the same way as my other American
heavies (possible exception of T29). It's a mobile striking force,
a force multiplier, more than a 'bulldozing' tank. Don't try to use
it like an IS-3 or King Tiger. If you want something that acts like
an IS-3, get an IS-3.

want to verify that you destroyed by ramming instead of by shot. If
you didn't receive damage during the collision, it makes me think
that you fired a shot before ramming and it was the shot that

open the folder of the older game client, then drag the replay file
onto it. Or like gpc says, you can create a shortcut and
place it on the desktop. To create a shortcut, just open the folder
the older client is in, then right-click on "worldoftanks.exe" and
select "create shortcut" It will create a shortcut, and then just
drag the shortcut file to the desktop. (I recommend naming it
different too)
