To test out new mechanics and tweaking them before they enter the game officially. Problem with balancing is it's not an easy line to walk on since a nerf on one tank can be seen as buff instead. Wargaming releases changes to tanks in every patch to address balance, but depending on a players style of play can influence their opinion heavily.    If you are not part of the Common/ Sandbox server then I highly encourage to do so.

 I know I always rely on the 50% sales to stock up on repair kits and food consumables, and theoretically it's possible to stock up on camo/paint with the new exterior system. But I completely understand that your mileage may vary there depending on the Gold and Credits in your budget.

DomoSapien: Hey, Tankers! Got a quick update for ya. Nothing major, but just so there are no surprises:  Basically, we wanted to keep you updated on what's going on with the NA Wargaming Clans. Historically we have been separated by office, with WGA-A, WGA-B, WGATX, and WGS.  As of Today, WGA-A (Wargaming Alpha Company) and WGA-B (Wargaming Bravo Company) have been consolidated into a unified clan: WGA If you happen to run across a player with the [WGA] Clan tag in-game, then they are a Wargaming employee. WGS will remain for our Seattle folks, and WGATX will be around for the Austin folks who don't want to join the shiny new (and better, let's be real here ) WGA Clan. So, as a quick reference: Wargaming Employee clan tags will be one of the following: [WGA] [WGATX] [WGS] Feel free to say hi if you see us, and we will see you all on the battlefield!

DomoSapien: Well, for starters Trobs is a Community Contributor. He isn't a Wargaming Employee, just a trusted member of the community that works closely with us and helps us generate content, like QuickyBaby does with EU. Which forums he chooses to frequent are up to him entirely. 

CM is still here, you'll notice he made a few posts recently, one of which was today. Tragic is also still around but she is involved primarily in our Streaming operations.

I think "hide" or "disappear" isn't the best choice in words. In Community, we wear quite a few different hats throughout the day. We help out on the Production side, we help out on the Marketing side, we get forum announcements up, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.. The Let's Battle Tour, we work with Contributors/Influencers...  Some folks end up wearing certain hats more often than others, which is why certain people 'disappear.'

The other transfers made sense due to the addition of Servers in those regions. If anything happens it will be announced on our news/forums, with a paper boy on every corner speaking the gospel of answered prayers.  @ElPuffMo 2018 and your only snack choice is cheetos? I mean they are delicious there is no doubt, but there are cotton candy flavored grapes now. They are a little more expensive but worth it. You can always paint your nails orange to "camo" the cheeto dust.  @24Cups Sorry I wasn't alive for very long. Sometimes you are Booper, and sometimes you are Boopie. I will try to stay alive longer to show off the new Tank. I am not a patient tanker, and the Semi-Auto gun is super fun.

DomoSapien: It's honestly likely a growing pain of the dated UI in the game client. A lot of the 'updating UI' process involves pulling one lever and breaking another. Happy to pass on a suggestion for better interface-scaling options on to the team, though!

Out of curiosity, when you change "Interface Scaling" under your graphics options to "1x" instead of "Auto", do you see any difference? I know it changes on my 4K display but I only have a way to make it smaller than "Auto" and not bigger.

DomoSapien: To be fair, it's not often that we give out tier VIII premiums. I'm sure it won't be easy, otherwise the server will be flooded with Prosciutto. 

Not entirely sure, but I'm cautiously optimistic that you will be able to jump the shark and just buy it flat-out once the missions kick off.

DomoSapien:   I would buff two vehicles, to make them more competitive, one of which is an old favorite.   Let me preface this by saying these are my personal opinions from my experience in-game, and I lack the knowledge of how these vehicles are actually balanced in the current meta, server-wide.
The Jagdpanther II and the Ferdinand.

Both should have more gun depression, Jagdpanther II should get its old "better acceleration but lower top speed" engine back, and the Ferdi could use an armor buff on its superstructure.

Skorp G effectively does everything the JP2 does, better. The tradeoff historically has been JP2 for mobility and camo, Ferdi for armor. 

Ferdi armor is negligible and JP2 lacks the concealment and the acceleration to be competitive.

Also, maybe like a liiiiittle more pen for the Type 59 and IS-6? 2 more degrees of depression on the former would be sweet as well. I never understood the concept of hull-down mediums that don't have the gun depression to effectively hull-down.
