but given how the gamemode works, honestly it wouldn't make sense
and would bar some players from participating if they don't have
the right vehicles in their garage.
We playtested it a few weeks ago and it's genuinely a lot of fun. I think it's definitely more fun than Dark Runners.You can pick from different loadouts, each of which comes with 3 vehicles that you have at your disposal, as well as active abilities that are unique to each loadout. There is a respawn mechanic, and you pick your next vehicle (out of those available in your loadout) from those that haven't been destroyed yet. (Essentially you've got 3 lives)
This way, even if you're a new player, or you don't have any tanks left in that tier because you're working on a grind, you'll still be able to play without spending all your Credits on rental tankscoughfrontlinecough

powercreep that some suffer? Most of the mid-late war German tanks
were well known for being fuel guzzlers so I see it as a big
disadvantage basically for a single tech tree and maybe part of the
Japanese as well due to the way their heavies are, so if this would
be implemented there should be at least a way to refill the fuel,
maybe by returning to our own base to refill, similar like how the
repair spots on frontline work but is so much trouble to be honest,
especially since this game is arcade focused, not realistic.

Would you say that you are now curious about this gamemode? If so, at the very least it served its purpose as a teaser.

But it definitely doesn't do the greatest job of conveying actual information about the event, which I do agree is a bit puzzling, considering it starts soon.
I think there will be another, more detailed video coming out in the coming days that should have all the specifics.

itself didn't get a ton of visits. Everyone was sort of getting
their information elsewhere, be it the forums via some diligent
forumgoers like Scorpiany and Warchild (to name a couple of them; I
see multiple SH threads popping up every month that we run the
event), Reddit - I think Scorp has a thread pinned to the top of
the subreddit right now - and Discord (we have a scavenger hunt
channel on our WOTNA Community Discord - Shameless plug: https://discordapp.com/invite/wot-usa - and I
see similar channels in many of the clan/CC discord servers i'm
in).
But we'll see. Every time we promote one of our CC's on the portal via some form of event, like Jerm's casting for the Clan Playoffs, it seems to help them grow their audiences.

DomoSapien: I saw a lot of similarity in playstyle between the IS-3 and the
53TP. In my humble and very average opinion: it's
essentially an IS-3 without a pike nose. Good all-arounder with a
decent enough gun to support against tier X vehicle; very
comfortable to hulldown behind a pile of rubble in Tank Alley on
himmelsdorf.
