instance in the past I remember where during a QnA it was brought
up that most top-level players dislike arty (for obvious
reasons), but all of them were found to use artillery in clan wars
etc. That's the difference. A person who plays artillery to get to
the next tank or to get to tier 10, playing it just enough, vs a
player who plays it repeatedly and all the time.
That's the point of data, there's no bias or trying to find the
answer you want (good data analysis) it's just getting an
answer.

and kicking after all these years. There are contradictions and
bias in your statement, something you need to address if you want
to help achieve what you want. From your list alone, xvm, do you
understand how the application works? The benefits vs downsides? -
I personally don't like having statistics visible in battle, I
appreciate them outside of battle, but at the same time they can
also help a person spectate a "better" player and quite probably
learn something to improve their game. Will this work for everyone?
No, nor will it be how everyone uses it, but even 1 player
improving is good.

just opinions from a select % of the player base. Generally
speaking, you don't have happy excited people wanting to share good
things on the forums, that's just how the forums are. That's why
data is used just as much to test how balanced or imbalanced a map
is. There are surveys and opinions gathered on maps throughout the
time of map analysis too. And one persons worse, is another persons
awesome.

make a map good or bad either. That's why a lot of sources of
information are important. Generally heavy tank players love maps
that light tank players hate. Arty players will hate city maps with
a passion but love open maps etc.

don't. But there are many players who do and many artillery
players. There are constant reviews, changes and updates to
artillery made over the course of the game. XVM.... this is
not WG, WG is not responsible. The ability to hide statistics
could/would limit far more things like statistics measuring
websites etc. Tank balancing takes place using data and
imbalanced analysis. There are plenty of tech tree tanks that are
considered OP and aren't P2W. No matter what you do or how much you
nerf, there will always be something OP and something UP that's how
meta changes and balancing works.

eekeeboo: I read the other posts too, including the replies that also
gave a wishlist but included points of desire included on the
proposed changes. MM changes coming. Ammo changes
coming, it seems punitive to limit a light tanks ability to use
special ammunition when it's already up against tough
competition. You're not forced to play artillery, it is a
choice and the remaining point of artillery per battle.... this has
been discussed extensively. The other point on vehicles is
something discussed in the past that historical accuracy is
something that has to take a back-seat to game balance.
German Tree balance has been announced.
It was also shared new tanks but not announced or confirmed. As you can see half of your wishlist was covered in the announcement the other half has been discussed in the past.

more forums than just EU ones too. This is the downside to putting
too much weight into one location and one area of feedback.
Mines, in particular, was changed a few times based on not
only feedback but stats too.

in the first 10 seconds though is great for your team can be
extremely lethal to you and will not result in a whole lot of
incoming damage if you are spotted. For other
replies, I hope people can see the way some people who prefer a
certain play style can love maps and style that others
loathe.

eekeeboo: I don't know if it's short memory, not playing for as long.... but
I remember the game in times of much more camp.... games where
in fact like murovanka, proho with 10 tds on the team and no
one moves. I would say the game goes through changes as maps and
missions change and the flavour of the month and new tanks arrive
that affect what people choose to counter them.
There's also that as more casual players play during Christmas etc,
camping is generally a safer option for those people to get damage
than high risk high reward plays that pay off more but require up
to date map knowledge and play styles.

least pass on the information to the development team, it is also
the most effective way to get large amounts of reports sent to the
dev team for escalation on the fix.

you keep saying its easier to make new maps than rebalance old ones
then bring back highway ??? every change you make is a
disaster, fjords bad, erlenberg terrible, fishermans bay gets worse
every change. just undo all the changes, remove highway and
make new maps (although I gather Minsk is ALREADY under
review for change?? if so that's just really poor) and
bring back UNCHANGED Stalingrad and Kharkov, good maps, balanced
maps and maps that need good gameplay. game mechanics.
ever since failed 1.0 patch I am wondering how spotting mechanics
work now, genuinely don't know anymore and its the same with the
streamers, over and over you hear Orzy, QB etc wondering how they
cant see this tank or that tank or how they are spotted. not
sure if this an issue similar to the shot box issues but needs
sorting rest of the ideas seem pointless to me and make no
real difference, perhaps the rejection of 20 maps you don't want to
play but otherwise just making changes to APPEAR to care so
in summary 10.0 global rebalance please sort maps out stop
reducing the skill level of the game undo most changes last 18
months sort arty sort gold ammo and pay to win I am happy to
pay to play the game but in its current state am playing free play
only, its just got that bad and what is proposed will not halt the
decline of player numbers

then bring back highway ??? every change you make is a
disaster, fjords bad, erlenberg terrible, fishermans bay gets worse
every change. just undo all the changes, remove highway and
make new maps (although I gather Minsk is ALREADY under
review for change?? if so that's just really poor) and
bring back UNCHANGED Stalingrad and Kharkov, good maps, balanced
maps and maps that need good gameplay. game mechanics.
ever since failed 1.0 patch I am wondering how spotting mechanics
work now, genuinely don't know anymore and its the same with the
streamers, over and over you hear Orzy, QB etc wondering how they
cant see this tank or that tank or how they are spotted. not
sure if this an issue similar to the shot box issues but needs
sorting rest of the ideas seem pointless to me and make no
real difference, perhaps the rejection of 20 maps you don't want to
play but otherwise just making changes to APPEAR to care so
in summary 10.0 global rebalance please sort maps out stop
reducing the skill level of the game undo most changes last 18
months sort arty sort gold ammo and pay to win I am happy to
pay to play the game but in its current state am playing free play
only, its just got that bad and what is proposed will not halt the

more changes that were not announced and other information not
shared but there's no concrete plan for those yet before they can
be shared. Maps: If you look at the Supertest
leaks/announcement section, you will see testing on new maps,
layouts, and design concepts. Spotting mechanics have always
been quite complex, though as far as I'm aware there have been no
changes to the fundamentals to how they work for the tanks but the
way vegetation is placed on maps. Skill level of the game is
important to make it just as accessible as difficult with plans to
help new players learn the game easier in the future.

That's a good aim & great to hear. The forum interaction
between posters & staff has its ups & down on the WoT forums,
with two very dark periods that left many with low confidence in
the forum staff. So it is good to see this reply of yours, knowing

while not posting for obvious reasons. I tended to want to keep
up-to-date and finger on the pulse with the things in the
forums. One thing I will say is no matter my personal
conflicts with some people I always try to reserve the throwing of
the rulebook at a person unless they're a repeat offender or break
the rules in a big way. There are people here who unfortunately
cannot post whom I have no problem with personally but I will not
over-rule forum guidelines and rules for personal feelings. It's a
slippery slope to slide down rather quickly. Fortunately though I
know the community quite well, my absence has meant I don't know it
quite as well as I once did. But I feel if I was able to work my
way through moderating the WGL channel in the days of 20k viewers
and no nightbot and the !type59 spam, I stand a good chance for
positive change here. Communication between staff in
regions I can't comment on, as fairly new to this specific team,
but I can say each person has their own way of approaching
community work and interacting with players, not everyone is as
full on or as likely to interact outside of work hours. There are
also elements that different game populations have different ways
to talk and sometimes it's better to interact little and let people
do all the talking. Though I will always endeavour to support
people, even if it's just a like of a post that shows reason.

you mention, I cannot emphasise enough, please report the posts.
All posts reported are generated into a list to review and even
myself, I will report posts as I go through large threads.
The state of the forums is always interesting around holiday
periods when more people engage here or come here to communicate
but combined with the recent videos and the trend in attitude
towards the state of the game etc will also affect the general mood
and perception of the forum.

the things on the list are covered in the announced planned
changes. With other changes possible they can all affect the things

Nothing more. short announcement or post is enough. it doesnt need to be some big explanation, article or dedicated thread. Just inform the playerbase what's happening and when it will be fixed. we had these kind of discussions with Phelan, a long time ago, he promised the situation will change... And it did, but for a short time. Later Phelan got promoted I think, and we stucked on the old
WG-players relationship on this forum, where English section is blind totally when bigger problems occur.
While subforums like German and Turkish were updated regulary.

eekeeboo: I don't know what the status of staff presence was before my
own. Just so that you're aware that there is usually a presence
from WG here somewhere. But community work is more than just
forums. Right now I'm having to interact on the forums (and my
messages). Do my emails and put together feedback. Interact on
Social media platforms like Facebook and also keep up-to-date on
discord and Reddit as well as running things like giveaways and
competitions and filling out all the other things I need to do. I'm
sure you can appreciate just how much multi-tasking needs to happen
and how easily a thread or post can get over-looked or neglected.
Like in the last 2 weeks where people have been in the forums
helping out in my absence but nowhere to the same level I was
before I left. The main aim I had when moving from
WoWP to WoT was to bring the level of interaction I had there to
here. I will not always be popular in what I say or share, but I
will always be forthright in the information I can share and will
share it as frequently as I can. There needs to be an element of
understanding though that there is literally only so many places a
person can be at the same time.

important to note that unless a map is statistically imbalanced or
poses other problems it is unlikely to be removed. We always gather
feedback and pass it on, with regards to players feeling on maps
and the preferred layouts etc, but map diversity is important to
try and give every tank an opportunity to perform in more
games. For instance I always loved Erlenberg, not a
big fan of the new map, but I haven't played it as frequently and
thus haven't gotten my head around it as well when attacking.

update from anyone, I put this down to some people also taking
holidays, so, unfortunately, it can be there will be a delay in

I'm sure you'll also appreciate just HOW much work was needed on
the lead up to Christmas moving to a new game with new everything
in the 2 weeks before that holiday. For moderators,
they have a lot of work and a lot of content to cover in a short
time. Like anything to be able to cover all that needs to be
covered more details are provided to those sanctioned in the
message they receive. Threads that are closed are always referenced
to the forum rules. If there were more interactions then they would
spend more time doing this and not ensuring the forums don't
devolve into the state you mention.

eekeeboo: Just to be clear ammunition does not affect RNG on aim, dispersion
or anything else. What ammunition DOES do is affect the velocity of
the round which can affect the amount you need to lead aim etc. But
this is not reliant on the amount you pay on the ammo, it's the
ammo type and how it behaves. The best thing you can
do to help your aiming, get better equipment, use highly trained
crew, get a feel for your tanks shooting behaviour and embrace the
RNG when it comes to snap shots. KV2 doesn't always 1 shot random
shots at the start of the game aiming at nothing, but when you do,
you remember it.

it has encountered a technical issue and will be canceled. You can
however check this forum to see if specific

rechnen, bei der Spieler, die es nicht in die Panzerränge geschafft
haben, mit etwas Glück doch noch einen Panzer erhalten können.

somit können unter der Woche Bollwerke jetzt bis 02:00 Uhr und am
Wochenende bis 03:00 Uhr gefahren werden. Genauere Infos findest du
hier. Wenn du der Meinung bist, man sollte die
Einschränkung komplett aufheben, schreib dort in den Thread deine
Meinung zu den neuen Zeiten.
