Vallter: Please, follow these instructions. First click the right mouse button on the installed WoT application desktop shortcut Then select a “Run as Administrator” option in the pop-up menu.
If that doesn’t help, you may try to run the game when in a “Safe Mode”. To enter it you need restart your PC. Some computers may actually offer an option to enter a safe mode and instruct on the process. Otherwise you will have to do it manually by pressing “F8” key right after the restart as soon as you see a flashing cursor upon a black screen before your OS starts loading. When you succeed you’ll get into a relevant menu with a ”Safe Mod” or similar option available which you are to choose.
Run the game and let us know of the outcome.

Please cry me a river. It's a time saver and that's it. I strongly suggest taking some economy 101 or something, so you know how stuff works. In WoT, it's quite easy to play with your friends, even on a non-premium account. All you have to do is start the battle at the same time (ie. count down using Skype or something). It's not guaranteed to succeed but it works at least 8/10 times and while you're not always on the same team, it can be kinda fun to play against eachother, which is currently NOT an option in random battles.

Overlord: Zinn, the problem with M12 is known and will be addressed in the upcoming patch.

I would like to apply for the position of translating job for Turkish language.Turkish is my native language and in my opinion i am a fluent English speaker.Also i have a lot of free time to do this translating job(I am a faculty of law student at this moment and i am 22 years old.)
I have special interest's about World War II.(For example Tank's and Fighter plane's,Blitzkrieg tactic's,Nation's social and economic position's before the war etc etc) and i am familiar with military terminology and i also have military knowledge.I am not the best man for the IT terminology stuff's but i think i can handle it  :P
I am playing WoT since "05-August 10" and in my opinion i know really useful thing's about WoT.  :Smile_great:
So that job fits like a glove to me and i will be happy if i get a chance to take a part of helping the development of WoT.

Overlord: It's nonexistent server side, and can be even turned off in the game client, if one knows what and how he should modify. This would give him certain advantage in game.

The 150mm sFH (Hummel stock) has twice the range of the 150mm sIG (Sturmpanzer Bison stock), basically.

Overlord: Indeed these vehicles are almost finished, though still require some minor tweaking.
I think, their specs may be posted in one of the upcoming Newsletters.

Yes, players can still choose to play in a common language to communicate with others but providing specific language forums and game translations the majority will choose to stay in their own little box. Thus not contributing to the MMO community feel.

Overlord: Not going deeply into discussion, building local communities is also rather important. My personal feeling, we should provide a great number of language packages so as to give players an opportunity to play WOT in their mother tongue. Currently we have WOT translated into 15 languages, including Russian and Chinese. 6 more language packs are in progress, 2 more are in plans (Korean and Japanese).
Regarding local forums, partially I agree on it, splitting the existing forums into multiple national subforums is debatable. On the other hand it's a form of support the language pack itself, means of gathering feeback.

Overlord: I can confirm that rammer does work on all the vehicles. This has been doublechecked.
The specs displayed in hangar feature so-called perfect/ideal model for 100% crew, ventilation (if possible), rammer, gold consumables that give bonus to the crew. The display of the actual stats is also planned.

Overlord: Minor clarification: the purpose of disabling shaking effect is not to make the game less realistic / more arcadish.
The reasoning behind this is solely technical. All the calculations are server side, that's way these shakings are often unsynchronized.
With 100 ms ping and even minor packet loss (rather ordinary situation) there will be a number of cases when the vehicle's hull is down in game client and up on server. Thus player won't get clear understanding of his gun and reticle actual positioning.
Revealing a secret, currently shaking effect while shooting/taking hit/starting movement/pulling up is client-side only, it makes aiming more difficult. On the server the vehicle is stationary in the cases mentioned.
We might change default "shaking effect" option to "off".

Most changes look good, especially the consumables make sense :)
I am quite interested in this change:
• Added an option to turn-off tank shaking during shooting/moving/stopping/being hit in sniper mode. Default setting is shaking on.
The tank shaking is a major disadvantage of the sniper mode. An on/off button seems very strange to me, as it basically a choice of playing easy vs playing difficult. The tank shaking does not only affect your convenience, but also accuracy (you have to re-aim). This button will basically increase aiming time, but its optional. Why that button (it will only mean new players are at a disadvantage)?
Personally I would rather see limited shaking in sniper mode. A bit of a disadvantage for the better view is fine in my opinion. Why not rework it so everyone is even?

Overlord: 1. Reworking visibility/camo is meant to eliminate all current discrepancies in camo values.
Apart from this there will be other adjustments like:
• Added extra checkpoints on tank models for more accurate visibility checks.
2. There are some technical issues with this shaking effect. Might rework it in another way.

Overlord: World of Tanks v.0.6.4 preliminary patch notes:
• Added new vehicles: premium heavy Lowe and KV-5, intermediate KV-13 and Pz38NA, tier 8 SPGs: Object 261, GW-E serie, T-92.
• Full redesign of Maus collision model using “skirt” type of armor.
• Fixed hit boxes for IS-7, JagdPanther.
• Added new maps – Mountain Pass and Prairies.
• Visual redesign of Pagorki map.
• Gameplay redesign of Komarin map: reduced number of bushes near the bridges, added extra buildings on the central island for cover.
• Added extra checkpoints on tank models for more accurate visibility checks.
• Changed effect for credit and gold first aid kits, repair kits and fire extinguishers:
Credit repair kit will fix 1 chosen damaged module until the end of battle. Gold will repair all currently damaged modules until the end of battle.
You can put both repair kits on the same tank together.
First aid kits work similar to repair kits.
Credit fire extinguisher will extinguish fire immediately after you manually activate it – by pressing its button ingame.
Gold fire extinguisher will automatically extinguish fire 0.5 seconds after tank catches fire and will reduce chance of catching fire by 10%.
• Changed damage mechanics for tracks. You can damage tracks if you hit the leading or the rearmost wheel of the tank. It will be much more difficult to detrack it by hitting middle part of the tank.
• Reworked vehicle movement system – stucking at vertical surfaces and map borders is nearly completely eliminated. Reduced chance of stucking in terrain objects.
• Added first version of moving wrecks of destroyed vehicles.
• Fixed bug with SPG Object 212 gun mantlet that was able to absorb shells without losing durability.
• Fixed damage mechanics of certain open-topped SPGs during light collisions with other vehicles.
• Added an option to demount non-demountable equipment (like Rammer or Coated Optics) for 10 Gold.
• Added an option to transfer in-game gold to another player. For additional control of transfer special billing password is being used.
• Added an option to block voice messages from the player in battle and in hangar.
• Added an option to turn-off tank shaking during shooting/moving/stopping/being hit in sniper mode. Default setting is shaking on.
• Added an option to remove tracks prints.
• Added an option to turn off smoke and dust off the tank tracks.

Planned for v.0.6.4, but currenty in development:
• Reworking visibility/camouflage of all vehicles and guns.
• Lowered memory usage. Fixing Red Textures bug on PC with big amount of RAM (> 2 GB).
• Specific balance weight for 9th tier Medium tanks.
• Fixing discrepancy between sniper and arcade crosshairs in case vehicle is positioned on a slope.
• New post-battle statistics.

LiannaSilverwind: AFAIR there was such a question in Russian Devs Question section. It was answered, that they do not plan any changes.
The reasons may be many:
1) Money - microtransaction/credits/grind.
2) When I change my car A for car B, I am still able to drive the car A I drove before, but after I drove car B for certain amount of time, my driving skills for car A are worser. Ie. my perks remain, whilst general skill for car A is lower.
