Overlord: There is no such bonus, platoon as it is gives you advantage of
better cooperation.

Overlord: Mediums and heavies are not equal, that's why they are not plainly

newsletter, though partially it's our fault that we don't such
information on EU and US sides.

will be certain rebalancing.

balanced. So in practice tier x medium is not balanced with tier x

Vallter: We will reveal a bit of the secret for an important part of the
project – a game rule enforcing system. In this article the system
for finding botters and leachers is described. The system that
struggles with macro- and clicker-programs.
The program used for this by the WG game masters bears the name «GameSession Tracking and Analysing System» and it is made by our programmers in cooperation with a world known Australian IT company.
This antibot-system was successfully implemented in the middle of fall of 2010 and is used now. It has proved its effectiveness in identifying EULA violators, who tried to gain in-game advantages to gain XP and credits without playing the game or by using clicker software.
Our program is an analysing system, that processes the information about game sessions of player’s accounts, logged by the server during every battle played by the user.
The data about all actions performed on a specific account in every battle and some specific information, such as coordinates and the time of movement, the passed distance, the number of enemies detected, the hotkeys using frequency and the activity in the battle chat, as well as consumables usage and some secondary parameters are taken into account automatically. Every listed parameters gets a value, characterizing their activity and successfulness, and then is analysed. As a result every battle, in which the specific account has participated, receives a percentage characteristic that shows the probability of bot software usage.

Received after analysing the game sessions logs for every battle session, percentage characteristic are analyzed again, and the average middle coefficient is calculated, which shows what part of the overall battle amount on the specific account were done not by a user himself, but by a bot- or-macro-software.
This data, received for each account, is listed in the general table, in which the movement trajectories of user’s vehicles during different game sessions are also analysed and the equal and also very similar trajectories are revealed. The end information receives a percentage coefficient, that characterize, how often vehicles of the specific players moves from battle to battle through the same path with the same trajectory.

In the global table the violators are displayed and listed. They have a percentage of bot sessions that exceeds the check value. This protects players, who have a network disconnection or who were forced to stop playing for personal reasons from being banned.
The accounts with unusually high percentage of bot-sessions draw attentions of the game masters, who starts a special investigation and look through game logs of a specific player or enable the automatic personal tracking system. After some time they decide whether the player deserves a ban or not.

As it is now, the two maps that need reworking are actually the ones that the devs are reworking. It's either magic, or they have a good eye to which maps work and which don't. Komarin is by far the map in most need of a fix, and I can see why Pagorki is being reworked as well. All the other maps in the game are currently balanced. Whether one likes them or not is a whole different thing. Camping is indeed a matter of players. If you're experiencing players who camp on Malinovka it's most likely inexperienced players (we've had a huge influx of those since release) who haven't figured the map out yet. I'm sorry that you have to play with those people, but I strongly suggest you try to "teach" them. For example suggest that your team leave a few big guns in base to defend against possible rushers. Position one or two to keep an eye on the marsh west of the lake so no spotters sneak up that way. Have some secure hill, and wait for some others to secure village so they can provide cover fire while those on hill descend. Don't rush blindly down. Take one position at a time. Work your way down, and then you'll be almost in their base. Of course in Standard Battle this will be hard to get to work, but every once in a while you'll end up on a team that's eager to learn, and that understand what you say. Those games will be a blast.
In the end campers on Malinovka is just as bad as "no-one going on hill" in Himmelsdorf, "Campers in the forest" at Murovanka, "Everyone going through town" at Ensk, the same at Ruinberg and so on and so forth. Every map becomes a drag when your team doesn't cooperate. After several thousand games (pre and post beta) I have to admit that the majority of games played in Standard Battle have been horrible from a tactics point of view. That's the way Standard Battles go. Not much that can be done about it I'm afraid (I might be wrong and there are some fabulous sollution to that).
Malinovka is not the problem however.
I also have a question:
Have there been any post-nerf statistics reviewed for the T29's biggest gun? It seems to be horribly inaccurate and since it's only marginally better than the 90 mm, with it's slow reload and what not I am starting to think about switching back to the 90. The 105 sure isn't worth the 40 000+ xp I had to grind together to get it in my opinion so I'm curious if you have looked at the performance post-nerf.
Also, is there a reason why the 105 for the T29 have different models depending on which turret you use? And me and other clan members have also experienced big difference in accuracy with the 105 depending on which turret you use. Is this an illusion? Care to look into it?

As it is now, the two maps that need reworking are actually the ones that the devs are reworking. It's either magic, or they have a good eye to which maps work and which don't. Komarin is by far the map in most need of a fix, and I can see why Pagorki is being reworked as well. All the other maps in the game are currently balanced. Whether one likes them or not is a whole different thing. Camping is indeed a matter of players. If you're experiencing players who camp on Malinovka it's most likely inexperienced players (we've had a huge influx of those since release) who haven't figured the map out yet. I'm sorry that you have to play with those people, but I strongly suggest you try to "teach" them. For example suggest that your team leave a few big guns in base to defend against possible rushers. Position one or two to keep an eye on the marsh west of the lake so no spotters sneak up that way. Have some secure hill, and wait for some others to secure village so they can provide cover fire while those on hill descend. Don't rush blindly down. Take one position at a time. Work your way down, and then you'll be almost in their base. Of course in Standard Battle this will be hard to get to work, but every once in a while you'll end up on a team that's eager to learn, and that understand what you say. Those games will be a blast.
In the end campers on Malinovka is just as bad as "no-one going on hill" in Himmelsdorf, "Campers in the forest" at Murovanka, "Everyone going through town" at Ensk, the same at Ruinberg and so on and so forth. Every map becomes a drag when your team doesn't cooperate. After several thousand games (pre and post beta) I have to admit that the majority of games played in Standard Battle have been horrible from a tactics point of view. That's the way Standard Battles go. Not much that can be done about it I'm afraid (I might be wrong and there are some fabulous sollution to that).
Malinovka is not the problem however.
I also have a question:
Have there been any post-nerf statistics reviewed for the T29's biggest gun? It seems to be horribly inaccurate and since it's only marginally better than the 90 mm, with it's slow reload and what not I am starting to think about switching back to the 90. The 105 sure isn't worth the 40 000+ xp I had to grind together to get it in my opinion so I'm curious if you have looked at the performance post-nerf.
Also, is there a reason why the 105 for the T29 have different models depending on which turret you use? And me and other clan members have also experienced big difference in accuracy with the 105 depending on which turret you use. Is this an illusion? Care to look into it?

that acute to be penalized for, moreover there is a fair number of
"legitimate" draws. Why should they be penlized?
