Yankee, on Feb 02 2013 - 17:23, said: This is actually an excellent format for teams new to clan wars, it simulates the chaos of a busy clan wars night pretty well,  with the fact you are playing more battles offset by knowing your exact schedule a day in advance.  You learn about holding rosters together through a 2 hour time window as an example
In addition, it exposes each clan to many different strategies, they can observe  what works and what doesn't and adjust their strategies accordingly.  We all drive the same tanks on the same maps, the difference is organization preparation and disciplined execution.
One of my more entertaining moments last night, was during load in, one of our opponents looked at our tank lineup and said..."oh damn, you have a plan"

Yoott: I liked this format alot and I agree with Yankee on this. It does simulate to a point some of whats needed to keep guys focused, organized, informed for multiple battles in a row. Also helps train battle callers and strategists some changing on the fly and adjustments under pressure.

dance210: Are you talking about this statment:

Quote Discount on Premium Account Time
Three days for 300

dance210: If so, that is to buy a discounted premium 3 day account, which you do in game by clicking the top right button (Buy Premium, I think).
If that's not what you are thinking of, could you please quote it in a new post? Gold is needed to buy garage slots, train crew or buy premium, but not for the tank discounts or increased credit earnings.

Not about the NA event, but in regards to some things mentioned here.
There was a LOT of "subjecting to"... namely on these forums, but it wasn't to just people in 3 clans. Forum members have been "subjected" to a lot way before Rise of Americas was even dreamed up.  Clean up the forums, and you'll end a lot of the issues that come up like they were instead of ignoring the issues for a week and letting people talk like they just got outta prison. A good majority of it is people boiling over from stuff that is condoned on here all the while there is very specific EULA regarding it.
I've seen another post by staff stating "it's time to get back to respecting everybody and being decent"..... How about change your stance on your forums to reflect that ALL the time, not just when it suits, because I can tell you... it sure wasn't "respecting and decency" before the NA event started... it's been far from it, like I said, this stuff has been boiling over with players for a long time now, and this community has been fractured for a long time prior. Ignoring it doesn't make it go away, it just gets worse.

GeneralDirection: If you feel someone is violating the rules, please report them. The GM team has been a bit overwhelmed because of last weekend, but they are definitely not ignoring the forum. They will get to it as soon as possible.

I was as up set as anyone when it started to go so bad, and from the point of view of the clans that missed out becouse of it, it did appear to be some kind of set up. The #1 thing your team to convince me that it wasnt that at all, was when you guys finally came out and said "we messed up". That honest answer carries a lot of wait with it. When I was in the Army, I learned early that 95% of a but chewing was them telling you how bad you messed up, so if I was wrong and got called in to the First Sergeants office, when asked what happened I would say "i messed (or other words) up" after that all there was left to say was "your right you did and dont do it again". You guys admited it was messed up and we owe you the right to "not let it happen again". I raelly think the tier three event will be a lot of fun, as for the "top tier clans" if they are as good as they think, it wont take them long to regain the upper hand. In the mean time people can have fun and maybe spark more interest in Clan Wars.
Thanks and have a nice day :)
Please forgive my spelling.

Bottom line, we screwed up and three top clans essentially got thrown under the bus because of how dedicated they are to clan wars. I don't know if we can ever repair that fracture; they definitely didn't deserve the abuse I've heard they were subjected to.
Yes, there were some questionable diplomatic agreements that took place, but that is how high end clan wars has worked since the beginning. Like in life, clan wars isn't just about overpowering someone physically, but also mentally.
We realize we have to change some things for landing tournaments, but they played by the same book they have for a long while. We can't penalize them for that since we stated clan wars rules applied.

Is that 'final' at 1700 eastern? Or some indeterminate time after 1500 when the first round ends? Kind of important to those of us in COD.

lord_farquad: It will be immediately following the ACC vs VOLT match, which can last no longer than 36 minutes. So it will be after 15:00, no earlier than 15:05 (this is assuming a technical for ACC vs VOLT).

I know the mechanics, have read them well. I don't agree with all of them. They need to be tweaked. Yep, they're working on arty, for how long now? three years? Fail teams are a product of themselves, not me. Also, your quotes about maps and matchmaking are in your own personal opinion.
This is in my intro:
"These are my reasons why I believe WOT is failing to reach the popularity/mainstream whatever you want to call it of games like COD or WOW"
Like I said, trying to help improve a game I like.

GeneralDirection: Well... to be fair, the games you listed were built off of established brands that had success over long periods of time. I don't think it's fair to us or them to make a comparison right now. In 3 years? Sure... let's see where we are.
I'm not saying the game is flawless, we obviously have improvements to make, but I also am not shocked that the game isn't up there with industry juggernauts yet. Yet being the keyword.

GeneralDirection: Yep more half off, credit bonus goodness. We replaced a Tech Tree Focus to make up for the mistakes.
