View Postenjineer, on Mar 03 2014 - 17:15, said: Laera, how about the 61 page NA East lag complaint thread that has gone without a response from WG in who knows how long?  Support can only give so much info and even that info is bland, canned responses like "we've passed this info up the chain."  So what is happening with this "passed up the chain" info that we as players have been providing for going on 3 years?  I'm sure it has to do with WG having a contract with Telia, but Telia is failing to provide a quality service that is affecting a good portion of your players.  I'm also fairly certain that a contract with Telia is the reason we now have a server on each coast rather than a centrally located server.  Want to know why there are always complaints about the MM?  It's mainly because the NA player base isn't large enough to make the MM function the way it is supposed to and splitting NA into 2 servers only made it worse.  So basicaly my question is, what is WG doing right now to alleviate the constant lag issues on NA East?

Laera:   Folks,    I understand the complaints about Teila, and I know it's been one of the main concerns on the forums for quite some time. It's a delicate process that takes some time to investigate and assess. Switching services is unfortunately not something we can do overnight. Rest assured, the issue has been escalated and is in the hands of the powers that be. I wish I could give you a better update than that, but that's all the information I have for now.

(i'm sorry to say but it's still a problem at this point)...

Laera:   Ahh! Thanks WarTrax! I'll follow up with HQ to see what's up.

Just like how you're putting this post on a forum thread when you should be starting a new thread about what was changed/fix/edited. Just saying.

Laera:   The thread asked for a response from WGNA, and I'm here to try and address the issue. In regards to the hot fix we're currently updating the 8.11 Update notes, which you can find here: http://worldoftanks.com/en/content/docs/release_notes/

Laera:   Thanks for your feedback WarTrax, I really appreciate it.    Yes, there are quite a few issues with 8.11, however many of them have been addressed in today's hot fix. We'll be better with communicating these issues in the future.

Laera:   The issue with the hot fix patch was a result of a lack of communication between offices. I entirely understand your frustration with the issue and we're putting steps in place to make sure that this doesn't happen again.

Laera: Hi folks!   I'm sorry that you feel this way, and it really breaks my heart to read a post like this. The truth is the matter is that our community team is very tiny, and while we are growing we are still stretched a bit thinly across multiple products. Unfortunately, much of our work right now focuses on behind the scenes issues, which sadly does not leave us with as much time as we'd like to spend on the forums. I'd like to take some time to respond to the points you brought up:   More forum presence from the WGNA Staff This is something we're striving to improve. Keep in mind that our Community Team supports all Wargaming Products, not just World of Tanks. We have a team of Community Coordinators who must not only focus on the WoT forums, but also WoWP, 360, WoWS as well as working on laying the ground work for Generals and Blitz. So with six products to support, we're stretched a little thinly. So how do we solve this issue? Well, while we can't clone Major_Rampage (yet), you may starts seeing some more lovely Customer Support folks posting in our forms. In addition, we're finally announcing our new community leadership program, which will allow a select group of players to work closely with the community team to make sure heated topics and issues are addressed. Look for details by the end of the week.   Keep us informed  I feel like we've made some strides in this end. One of my goals is to be transparent with this community, and I do my best to keep you folks informed when there is downtime and outages. The reticle issue is something that we're still awaiting on an official response from HQ for, but we'll keep you updated.    Stop lying to us I'm not sure what the context of this one is, but I can assure you that it is in our best interest to be transparent. I know Rampage does his best to keep things in line and communicate when the Missions are borked.  We do our best to ensure this doesn't happen, but we will strive to improve.   Better Support System  What specifically would you like to see improved? Can you give us an example?

Yoott:      If you sign up for bravo only you play Friday Sat and Sunday. And Skirmishes have always been 6 days and sometimes 7, which hasn't been changed in over 2 years. Except in this tournament if you play all the days you can now win 10k instead of the old 5k that had been being used. So basically more gold, same time as Thursday is a Tiebreaker only night so almost all wont play......we also are paying way deeper into the field then we have before making it worth more to everyone involved.    We also moved it an hour earlier.
