The_Chieftain:   Surprisingly, not a whole hell of a lot, other than that there wasn't much point in making it.   That said, as you correctly observe, it's a well-known photo, though the hull is different to that of the M36B1 in the earlier photo you observe as stock. (The one is an M4 hull, the other an M4A3). Ergo, either we are entirely incompetent at our jobs and put the M4(90)V into the game by complete fluke, or it was an ironic comment used for humorous effect.

dance210:   Go to any of the 12 tournament pages. Check the schedule. Day one only shows for December 26th. Day two only for December 27th. Does it specifically say you need to register for each day? No. But it is a single day registration, as shown on the tournament schedule.   As for other tournaments that do this. The Anniversary tournament in August. The Carnival Parade in February. They are few and far between, but we do run tournaments that require individual tournament registration, with the change for an overall prize if players do well enough.

dance210: Unknown. If I get a chance on vacation, I will update the standings and work on gold payouts. If not, then it may not happen until I get back on Jan 2 (unless someone else does it during the week).  

dance210: There are twelve individual tournaments listed on the first forum post, plus each tournament page only has the schedule for that day. I'm sorry you didn't realize that there were twelve individual tournaments to sign up for.  

dance210: If your team was declined, then it was not showing as "Approved" when registration was closed. Only teams that have applied for the tournament are accepted; all other teams are automatically declined when registration closes.  

dance210: I'm not entirely sure what you mean. There are twelve days to this tournament series; players are required to sign up for each day. Teams that are declined on the second (or any other) day are declined because the team captain failed to submit the team before registration closes. Generally speaking, that is the ONLY way that a team is declined.

dance210: The last email I received from the guys running the tournament was for payouts up to December 9th. Until they send me the names and gold amount for the remainder of the tournaments, there is sadly nothing that I can do.   If they sent it to another person in the department and not to me, again, sincere apologies but I can't pay out what I don't have.

dance210:   These are global tools, and used across all regions.

Trevzor:   You are preaching to the choir. Unfortunately our tournament tools do not currently function this way so teams do need to confirm that they are going to participate in the tournament prior to the close of registration.

dance210:   With how our tools work, we can either do register for entire tournament, or register daily. It won't allow players to sign up for multiple registrations within one tournament. Again, apologies for the inconvenience, but this was the best way to allow all players to participate for the day(s) and tier(s) that worked best for them   Merry Christmas everyone!

The_Chieftain: Here's the thing about M103. Pretend it doesn't have armour. If plan A is to willingly take 128mm rounds to the front, you need to move to plan B. (Frankly, unless you're in a Maus or E3, it shouldn't be Plan A anyway). The armour is good enough to be a reasonable saving throw should you get hit, but the tank's strengths are the gun handling and mobility, which is second to none. Focus on that instead of on trying to slug it out in duels. If necessary, play it like a medium.

The_Chieftain: And what if the damage had been caused by a counter battery shot or something? Team killing is one thing, yes, but the situation does exist that it can happen. Would you ban him then? It is not for the player to attempt to divine what programmers thought should be reasonable.

The_Chieftain: Who cares if it was in a live battle or not. A bannable exploit would be because of an error in the game, not the game working as designed. For example, "In clan wars, a programming error has allowed the T110E5 into a Tier VIII battle". That's an exploit. Stacking features which are working as designed (even if the combination results in unforseen oddities) is not an exploit, it's a player doing his best.   The M2 Medium is a case in point which we are dealing with in Generals. There is some serious silliness which is going on, but we're not banning people who use it. We are going to change the programming to make combinations using M2 far less dangerous

The_Chieftain: Wait. As I understand this correctly, the guy used a bunch of things which the developers put into the game, with the expectation that they would be used, did not break any obviously stated rules, and you want to ban him for it?    Have you ever noticed that most legal systems don't work that way? "Your honor, everything he did was legal, but we don't like that he ended up doing what he did, so would you mind awfully putting him in jail anyway?"   That is an incredibly arbitrary way of doing things. Who's to say where the trigger line is between game advantage and exploit? You're making it a matter of personal opinion.

veganzombiez: For clan league teams that got clan camo, the World of Tanks client is currently not letting you preview your clan camo on your tanks.  A report's been filed with the devs.  For now, I'd recommend not applying the camo unless you're certain you want it on that tank.
