lord_farquad: I would actually recommend getting involved in Clan Wars now. Playing with people who are good, and learning how to coordinate efforts with other players are the best ways to take yourself from an average player to an good player.

Gaea: Short explanation: the All Star tanks are always divided between 'standard' tanks and 'premium' tanks. Seeing there are a lot less premium tanks than standard tanks, the premium ones will come back much more often than the standard tanks.

GeneralDirection: It will more than likely change with each battle, though it might change each week instead (depends on scheduling logistics).

GeneralDirection: Looking for a little feedback, because I'm pretty close to finalizing this:
90 points, no tier limits.No minimum number of team members in a battle, a max of 15.Up to 16 members per team, all must be from the same World of Tanks clan (e.g. Bob's Builders cannot have 6 from Chuck's Hardware and 10 from Bob's Builders).Battles will take place on Saturday.Any number of teams can sign up for this, we're not putting a hard limit on it.We're aiming for all teams in the league to play the other teams once.Actual schedule will be worked out at the close of registration.After all teams have played each other once, the top 16 (possibly 32 if there's enough turnout) teams will move on to a playoff. This will be based on the league play: each victory rewards 3 points, each draw rewards 1, each loss rewards 0.All members of the qualifying teams will receive 2,000 gold.These teams will then compete in a single elimination playoff for a larger prize. This is still TBD.

GeneralDirection: We are going to start mailing the prizes out this coming week. We ran into some issues that we will be communicating to you all on an individual basis if it affects you.

GeneralDirection: We probably would have lost that if the other team had kept their mediums near their base. We were on Malinovka and our base was the south side with all the cover. We simply outnumbered the guys at the other base. If we got into a situation where we were reloading, we were toast; there was hardly any cover at all.

ARGO: You are going to get a lot of answers to this thread, some will blame Devs, Some will blame matchmaker, some will blame the premiums...But in all honesty, The one excuse not adressed usually is PUTTS players too... Premature Upper Tank Tier Syndrome. Now you see premium tanks are for players who want to experience upper tiers...YES, but not to be the last stop for them. And as for above tier 5, Hey, I still play and have tanks in all tiers and I do have a lot of fun but I do say that when you do not take the time to learn each tier and go racing up that tree you just do not gain the intimate knowlege needed for successful tank combat skills needed to garner wins. It's human nature to want immediate gratification but let's face it, there are NO short cuts to skill other than doing your time and learning the tiers. Think about this, ANY elited tank works pretty much exactly like a premium if you take the time to max it out. And as far as premiums being all that and a bag of chips? In my humble opinion, A Type 59 is no T54, A Lowe is no Tiger P, and a KV 5 is no IS3...Besides, you can't even upgrade them so to me they are tanks with descent armour and not much punch compared to earned / elited tanks. In short I believe it's really how each of us learns "or does not learn" the tiers is what over all affects the game as a whole even more so than any other reason.....
