Tanitha: While I'm glad you are having fun..
I would assume you would have more fun on the server that supports your timezone when it comes to, clan-wars, tournaments, celebrating local holidays, local events, local staff, lower pings, Etc.
Please remember these things were being offered (or planned for) the NA server while the NA Server was the official server for a lot of the SEA/Oceania countries.
However since the SEA server is now the official server for those regions, full support for those regions on NA server will no longer be offered.
"It is highly recommended for players in the SEA/Oceania region to transfer to the SEA server."

*EDIT*
uhm, silly question how do I change what server I log into from the game client? please say I dont have to download the entire game client again. There must be a config file I can edit or something.

Tanitha: Its on the todo list. The clanwars and transfer announcement was scheduled to be released first.
This announcement states that the SEA server will be the official server for the Oceania (AUS/NZ) region.

Tanitha: The reason why this transfer, specifically, is a priority..
Is the SEA & Oceania players were recommended to play on the NA server (Since the SEA server didnt exist)
Now the SEA server is online, and moving quickly to clanwars we need to provide the SEA/Oceania players the opportunity to move to the new server put online for them.
A players ability to move from any server to any server is a different topic and issue to this unique case of a new server coming online.

Quote 2nd round of SEA Account Transfers
Tank Commanders,
In order to further improve the service that Wargaming provides, we have decided to once again open transfers to the South East Asia server cluster. In addition, the Wargaming South East Asia office will begin providing support for our players in Oceania.
As players in these regions, you will have dedicated community and support staff, as well as events, contests and tournaments managed on the South East Asia cluster during hours that work best for you. Clan Wars will also be available to players during optimal Oceanic play hours on the South East Asia cluster in the near future, further improving the experience for you. Moreover players from New Zealand and Australia should have better latency playing on SEA server.
The transfer window is currently open, and will close on October 3rd, 2012. The transfer procedure itself will take place on the same date (3rd of October) and will take approximately 48 hours to complete.
For those who are interested in transferring your account from the other servers to the SEA server, please register an account on the SEA server to reserve your nickname. Kindly test the SEA server first before opting for a transfer as all decisions made are final and will not be reverted.
Please note that upon successful transfer, players will not be able to return to their original servers and their current accounts will be transferred to the EXISTING account on the SEA server.
How to Transfer
Step 1: SEA Account Creation and Testing
Create an account (if it has not been created yet) on the SEA cluster with your desired nickname.
• Log into the SEA cluster to see if the experience is desirable for you: note your latency compared to your current cluster, as well as general connection quality.
• If you still feel you would like to transfer, move to the next step.
Step 2: Transferring Your Account
• Leave the clan on your account at the server which you want to transfer from.
• To apply for a transfer, please click here.
• Refrain from purchasing any gold during the transfer period.
Terms & Conditions
• A player must create an account on the SEA cluster.
• Player must leave their current clan on the donor server (RU, EU, US).
• Transfer will only be allowed from the RU, EU, US servers.
• The account on SEA cluster will be completely replaced by the account on the server which you are transferring from.
• There is a possibility of account suspension (up to 1 week) on both servers during the transfer.
• Gold and packages bought from the Gift Shop on the SEA cluster account will be added to the account.

Hello All,
This week we look back at the Battle of Peleliu. Referred to by those in the know as, "the bitterest battle of the war for the Marines," it was a controversial battle because of the island's questionable strategic value and the high casualty rate, which was the highest for U.S. military personnel of any battle in the Pacific War.

Last night, when the Special for this Weekend was first posted it said:
3x XP all battles in all vehicles
There was no mention of "Crew" ANYWHERE in the 3x XP line.
At some point, WG noticed the error and changed it to:
3x crew experience for all battles in all vehicles
I kinda figured 3x XP for the whole weekend was too good to be true, but I don't know how much WG has invested in the Ural Steel Event.
If WG wanted to show someone (Investors, Advertisers, Etc) how many people they can get online; then having an Event like 3X XP ALL WEEKEND would sure keep the servers full all weekend.

GeneralDirection: No, it said: Bonus experience for first victory: x3. And that was for like three minutes before I noticed the old information was still in the article.

A rather short answer. What did you fix? The schedule mix up that caused half of everyone to lose because the tourney popped on a Friday morning? I have 3 consecutive losses reported. Is this fixed?

Tanitha: Dear Oceania.
Clan Wars has been scheduled for release on the SEA server on the 10th of October 2012.
PS: I'll remove the existing thread on the recent news announcement and replace it with this one that contains more information.
Also my "Dev created a thread / Dev posted here" icon will help attract attention to it more.
/Regards Tan
Tank Commanders,
It’s what you all have been waiting for! We know that you have been inquiring about this for a while now and we'd like to say that the developers at Wargaming.net have heard and reviewed your suggestions - Clan Wars is coming soon.
Wargaming.net sees a really positive dynamic on the SEA realm. Currently, World of Tanks SEA has around 100 clans already created, so we consider to launch global map Clan Wars on the 10th of October. The region for your severe battles is known on other servers as "Asia". You can find out more about your region here. We will try to make battle schedules for provinces as comfortable as possible for all our players in Asian Pacific Region.
So look forward to it and other thrilling happenings coming to you later this year! In the meantime,to keep you occupied during the wait here are our Weekly Tournaments, URAL Steel Championship 2012 and WCG in which World of Tanks will be participating in this year. We have lots of activities to keep you busy so be sure to participate in them for a chance to win fabulous prizes!
Tank Commanders of South-East Asia UNITE! Grab your fellow comrades and start forming your clans now!
Clan Wars Need You!
What is Clan Wars?
Clan Wars is a browser-based multi player military and geopolitical component of World of Tanks MMO.
Battles are fought on a big world map known as the Global Map on which clans vie for ultimate domination by conquering or defending territories. The map is divided into provinces where selected occupied territories will provide the clan with income and bonuses.
Clan Wars has met with huge success and is extremely well received by clans from the other regions, garnering participations of thousands of clans around the world in a bitter struggle for world domination.
So Clan Wars is no-holds-barred struggle for superiority and power. By visiting the other WOT portals, you can see the distribution of clans over the world map and witness their stranglehold over certain territories. Some of the provinces may bring more than 4K Gold in province income.
In Clan Wars, clans are not subjected to just fighting alone only. To facilitate the expansion of territories, you can strike up alliances to aid in your power struggle by means of diplomacy.
We have already created the following forum sections for you Ultimate Conquest and Diplomacy. If you have any question about Clan Wars or you want to talk to other clans feel free to check this sections.
Clan Wars is a browser-based multiplayer military and geopolitical component of World of Tanks MMO. It is a turn-based strategy which consists of 24 turns, each lasting 60 minutes, which takes place on a big world map (known as the Global Map) that is divided into provinces. Clans vie for ultimate domination by conquering or defending these provinces, where some of these occupied territories will provide the clan with income and bonuses.
In Clan Wars, armoured forces of different clans are represented by chips. The number of the clan’s chips equals to the number of players in the clan that has played at least one battle on any vehicle of Tier V or higher. Such a player provides one chip to the clan no matter how many vehicles of Tier V and up he or she has played. Chips are moved along the map as the clan takes over provinces.
Every clan possesses one headquarters and headquarters can be relocated from one province to another and is used to dispatch clan’s chips from reserve to Global Map. Commanders, Field Commanders and Deputy Commanders manage chips distribution on the Global Map and other clan members can observe the location and movement of their clan’s forces and headquarters.
Espionage can be used to discover your enemy’s chips where successful attempts will cost 500 gold (will not cost anything if unsuccessful). Clans can also strike up alliances with other clans to aid in their conquest by means of diplomacy.
Watch the video above to find out more about Clan Wars!

Vallter: MM works according to the currently selected system. I would suggest you to concetrate on targets of you Tier or try scouting for other vehicles. Also it will probaly be beneficial for you to learn so calld 'weak spots' of vehicles, in which even Low Tier vehicles can easily penetrate their High Tier counterparts.

We are constantly looking through archives and if we find something intresting, we will include it to the Tech Tree. Vallter:
Well, because of it's weight and size. It's quite difficult to imagine such giant thing to move as quickly as 4502A. Yes, we sometimes tune historic characteristis to fit the gameplay more (for example, buff of Ferdinand top speed), but we cannot go so far.

Now everyone will add her in facebook, lol.

Vallter:
You should ask her, I suppose.

If the gold round are going to be sold by credits, why do not equip all the tanks and pwn in pubs? There is some kind of limit? Limited by the price? Limited by amount? Limited by tier?

Vallter:
As I've commented above, we will release information after 8.0 release.

Vallter:
It's balanced with it's low speed and long reload. So there is no OP vehicle

I think I like the x3 crew XP more than the wotd bonus, but now I just feel like I'm going crazy...

GeneralDirection: Yeah, that was a... "technical error." It was edited to the correct info but still open in a browser window, and saved with the old info. I hoped I'd fixed it quick enough. :O
