The_Chieftain: For all I know, an email got lost. However, I'm sure we'll tap them again for the next one. If you have any other Canadian charities to propose, we'll keep it in mind. Part of the reason we have been going with MFF in the past was it was about the only notable Canadian military charity I could find.

The_Chieftain:     So I was going to buy the Major General Package so that $46.37 would be donated between the charities -- as the written even as highlighted above stated. However as The_Chieftain so kindly just informed us:
    ONLY THE $22.99 PACKAGES GO TO CHARITY.    It may not be my place to say, but putting SOME bundles that ARE going to charity and others that ARE NOT going to charity all on the same advertisement makes the event seem quite misleading. The announcement makes it appear as if all eight bundles are in fact charitable donations. If what you say is true about how only 4 of the 8 advertised packages are in fact going to charity, when the description clearly indicates -- or at least heavily implies -- that "25% of the proceeds from each bundle will go to the associated charity  -- or you can get the bundle where it goes to all of them!" seems to me to be fraudulent and or misleading advertising. Had I not of read this forum thread I was considering purchasing the largest of the bundles so that all four charities would get $11.59, instead of the mere $5.75 to each organization individually or worse than that $1.43 individually if the all charities bundle was chosen, however now that I know that those latter bundles are in fact 100% wargaming profits and not at all charitable I will not be purchasing a misleading package.   The way the advertisement was laid out just seems really slimy, especially to the average user who does not use this forum as much as a person like myself does. I would consider making it more explicit on the advert itself that NOT ALL THE PACKAGES GO TO CHARITY, else it does seem to be fraudulent advertising.   Sincerely, A concerned member of this community.   In fairness, a common reading of the wording does make it clear, especially when combined with the previous sentence. Each bundle donates to the associated charity, and the five bundles immediately underneath are all prefaced "charity bundle".  The bundles beneath do not have "charity bundle" in their title, neither do they state an association with one.

The_Chieftain:   It doesn't prove that they named it the Sherman, but it certainly doesn't disprove it. Since the troops were already calling it that, not with US Army pushing it, it seems reasonable that they're borrowing the name from the Brits. [Edit: Don't see the thread]

Those teams will now have to work together and play together to win in Week 2.    Week 2 will be a 5 v 5 with 1 reserve with all teams required to bring at least 4 players or the match will be a forfeit. 40 Tier Points Maximum:  Maps will be posted shortly   You guys have from now until Monday to get together with your new partners and work it all out.    Team pairings will be as follows..... I will be creating the teams myself so no need to worry about re-registering. HBFT:   New shaders were applied to all tanks to work in tandem with the new HD models and can definitely affect their current look and feel.  We are constantly working to improve the graphical performance of the game as a whole and any feedback that you can provide is greatly appreciated! :)   If you could post your feedback with specific details (maybe even a screenshot) into the Suggestions Forum, we pull suggestions from this area every week to send to our developers and it would really help us out to get this info in there.  You can find the Suggestions area here: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/forum/260-suggestions/

The_Chieftain:   Only if doing so in an official capacity. There is merit to the idea that we need to have some experience in our own game, no? And my private account is one which I've had before employment, I've thrown my own money into, and have always kept separate. The big problem is perception: The clan I'm in cannot be perceived to have any advantage. They don't, but the perception could still be there. Yes, it's something which WG could order me to stop doing. They certainly don't encourage it.    

The_Chieftain:   If there was any such tampering, my clan certainly didn't benefit! (I'm not sure how tampering could occur anyway. Lord knows, when WGA tried to hold land, we didn't last very long. Which reminds me, we're going to do it again in a while)

CatStalker: Some things i would suggest just based on a quick look of the stream:   Use game capture rather than screen capture, the less information there is to encode the better. You may want to set your cpu affinity for xsplit/obs to not use your first two cores, that way the game and encoder aren't fighting for the same cpu bandwidth You can check some basic settings here: https://obsproject.com/estimator  . You'll generally want to set your video upload speed to a maximum of about 80-90% of your speedtest upload results. I noticed that your framerate is usually in the 15-30fps range, you may want to try playing in fullscreen mode as it can sometimes help smooth that out.   I'm not an expert streamer, I've just played around with it a bit, so other people may have better advice.

HBFT:   It can take a bit more time to make changes to the in-game client itself, but if there were a sign-up area for volunteers it could accomplish something similar perhaps?  I'm not sure how everything would work out logistically, but I'll write that down. Thank you! :)  

RibbleRabble: Hmm...did you just start experiencing this issue today? Are you getting some sort of error?   Please make sure you have the correct client installed.   The box should show "Auto" or you should be able to select the drop down menu. HBFT:   I'm going to jump in and do some solos in Random battle, low tiers on the "West" server for a bit.  (Tiers 1-5) Come get some easy gold! :)

HBFT: Hey there and welcome! :) Looking forward to hearing more from all of you.

HBFT:   Major Rampage recently made a post about this on the forums here:

HBFT:   Wow!  Please make sure to add a suggestion to the developers that they should put a tank like that in my garage! :D  

HBFT:   Well, I personally have tanks all the way from Tier I to X in my garage and I plan on rotating through them as I play.  Not that it matters, but I will play on the "West" server unless I'm in a platoon.  

HBFT:   Sadly the Karl was removed from my garage. :(
