dance210:   Skirmishes are paid out in two parts - the Group Stage and the Playoffs.   The playoffs are based on how well a team did within their bracket. The amount given is based on whether a team was seeded into the Alpha, Bravo or Charlie bracket.   Group stage payouts are done daily based on how well a team did based off our cumulative standings for that day. Day 1 prize - where did a team rank for Group Stage Round 1 Day 2 prize - where did a team rank for Group Stage Round 1 + 2 Day 3 prize - where did a team rank for Group Stage Round 1 + 2 + 3   If a team made the 10% for all three days, they would earn 3,000 gold and 3 personal reserves. All the group stage prizes are paid out at the same time, mostly for my convenience.

NyxWGA: We are done with this discussion. Not just in this thread but altogether. If any sanctions are/were needed, that would come from us, not you.   Not all mods are illegal, as you should know, and I feel certain that some people are jumping to conclusions based on what they "heard" rather than anything they themselves saw. If you have concerns, you can certainly submit a support ticket, but we won't be discussing it any further here on the forums.

The_Chieftain:   Hopefully you read the whole document, though. It's actually fairly well researched, the man did some archive digging himself. If it was a court judgement, I'd be "concurs in part, dissents in part." He acknowledges the competing needs of the war-winning effort with the fact that the guys on the pointy end don't care about strategic logistics, and that Ordnance was over-exaggerating its own capabilities. He also doesn't fall for the McNair blame game too much: From that document "He and AGF never stifled any developmental effort at Ordnance and were correct in their decision not to produce the flawed T23. While McNair and AGF may have been guilty of being too doctrine bound, neither the General nor the organization he led added a single day to the time required to place the Pershing in service". which is even more generous to AGF than I am. (I put the delay at up to two months, without guarantee of effectiveness). There are certainly some parts with which I disagree, but it's actually not bad, and one of the citations has caused me to spend $12 on a new book to read.

dance210:   This is often a caching error that can be fixed by   1. Logging out of the WoT portal then logging back in or   2. Trying to log in using a different web browser (e.g. if you are on Firefox, try Internet Explorer or Chrome).   If you still have any issues, please let me know

With the exception of the WGL Preseason, what is listed on the calendar should be correct from now until June 26th. After I finalize the details for the week of June 27th, and hopefully July as well, I will update the calendar. Thanks!

I'll take a look today and try to find it.

GhostPrime:   Sometimes the devs will be interested in certain types of players, depending on what is being tested in a specific case. This could be any player of any play style and/or level depending on the test case. There are a lot of different play styles, and skill levels playing this game. It depends on the changes that are proposed on during a specific case. For example, if we want to test changes to any heavy tank, then we select players experienced on heavy tanks, and so forth.

dance210:   Hi,   I think I understand the confusion. If two teams are tied for 2nd place, there is no third place team, the next team would be in 4th place. This is intended and working correctly.  

dance210:   At this time, we have no way of tracking who does/does not show up for a tournament. Unless or until that changes, we unfortunately have no way to confirm that a player did not show up, which means that yes, sometimes someone who does not show will get gold. No one likes it, but that is where things currently stand.   As for the no name and shame policy...that is a general policy for all of WGNA and it will be followed even in this situation or risk getting in trouble.

GhostPrime: Hello Tankers,   Are you still having technical problems with the 9.15 update? If the answer to this is yes, and you have tried all the troubleshooting steps outlined in the spoiler below, please let us know by describing the issue in this thread. It will help us get an idea of the issues still occurring, and how often.    1) Clear out your preferences folder To do this Press the Windows key + R, and type %appdata%\wargaming.net. Then Delete the "worldoftanks" folder.   2) Update your graphics card drivers. (This is a BIG one)     These 2 things are solving many player's issues. They do not work for everyone, but if you have not yet done these, please do!   3) Turn off replays. We have verified that this solves issues for a few folks. 4) Update and/or uninstall your mods. Several popular mods were recently updated to be compatible with 9.15 so updating them may help. If you are using a mod that has not been updated, it may be preventing you from playing. 5) Run the game in "safe mode." We know this is not a permanent fix, but it may allow you to get back in.   Thank you all for your information.

dance210:   Hi!   For our standings, the breakdown for the gold payouts starts on Wednesday, after the bottom 10% of teams are eliminated. The number of teams in each percent (top 25%, top 50%, top 75%) are based on the number of teams remaining after the bottom 10% have been eliminated, not the number of total number of teams participating.    For the Weekday Warfare, all ranks are based on the cumulative score for all five days. While the standings are posted for each day, you will want to look at the Day 5 standings to find out where your team placed and what prize, if any, you earn for each tournament.   If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Mods such as these are not allowed as they offer an unfair advantage to players using them.   We're taking steps to ensure that every time you hop on the battlefield in your favorite vehicle, you'll be given as fair a chance for victory as possible -- we're tightening restrictions on all mods that give players a statistical advantage over their opponent.   Players found to be using illegal mods (as detailed below) will be penalized based on the severity of the infraction. We're also actively looking into more effective ways in which to monitor the use of banned mods.    Modifications to the World of Tanks client (and other products) that provide an unfair advantage against other players will warrant a restriction upon the players account.   The type of restriction depends on the severity of the modification infraction.   3D-Skins with Display of Modules and Crew Positions Removal of trees, leaves and bushes or change transparency "Lens scope" modification that removes tree leaves and alters bush transparency around the aiming reticle.
