new maps and the possible return of your old favorites not
currently in game. With the Glacier map, we addressed the first
kind of inquiries; with this post, we'll reply to the second one:
the overhauled and updated Province map enters the Supertest. If
everything goes fine, you may expect to see it in game really
soon. Yes, this is the map you probably waged your very first
battle on!
The battle that probably ended with the destruction of your vehicle by an enemy you could not see. You probably exclaimed "How come!" (we hope). Such situations were one of reasons we excluded the old Province from the game. The map was too complicated for new players and too small for high Tier play – so we have created a new prototype that will allow to alleviate these problems and bring Province back into Random Battles while keeping the best of its signature features. Province: what have we changed?
First of all, the size. We've moved from the original 600m×600m to a more spacious 850m×850m, allowing to use the map as a high Tier playground. A longer distance between the opposite slopes will make camo-based play possible, but keep spotting relevant. Currently, it's a bit over 500m - which is optimal: just enough to hit an enemy on the other side if spotting is provided. Second, we've changed the gameplay. Back in the old days, Province used to be a place for fast spotting and quick shootouts. To win, you only needed better camo and sight range. On the new version of the map, everything will be less streamlined. Winning will require moving: not just occupying your slope, but attacking the other one. If you don't press forward, the enemy will—and things will get hairy for sure. An assault will be quite an undertaking: a part of your team will have to approach the enemy while the other part provides fire support. The attack group will have it hard, risking being hit or running into the other side's attackers – but if you manage to reach key positions, you'll be able to break through your opponents' defense. Third, we've created new opportunities and enough room for tactical experimentation. Though the map is compact, there are multiple possible battle scenarios. You may try to take positions by your enemies' way downhill and lock them in the canyon, or try the long serpentine road for a multi-pronged attack. It may happen so that the teams trade places and will have to storm their own starting positions, moving in a circle.







So, what will become of it?
The Supertest results will show. Currently, the map is very close to getting back into Random Battles—the good old Province that will require more of you than fully developed Crew Camouflage skills and a masking net on a low level tank. Best of luck in your battles!

Pokládali jste nám otázky ohledně představení nových map a možného návratu starých známých, co se momentálně ve hře nevyskytují. Jedním typem dotazů už jsme se zabývali při představení mapy Ledovec; v tomto příspěvku odpovíme na druhou část: změněná a aktualizovaná mapa Provincie vstoupí do supertestu. Pokud vše půjde hladce, můžete ji brzy očekávat ve hře.
Ano, jde o mapu, na které jste pravděpodobně odehráli vaši první bitvu.
Bitvu, která dost možná skončila zničením od nepřítele, které jste ani nezahlédli. Pravděpodobně jste vykřikli „Jak to, @#%!“. To byl taky jeden z důvodů, proč jsme Provincii odstranili ze hry. Mapa byla pro nové hráče příliš náročná a zároveň příliš malá pro hru v tancích vyšší úrovně. Vytvořili jsme proto nový prototyp, který by umožnil vyřešení těchto problémů a přinést Provincii zpět do náhodných bitev a zároveň umožnil zachování jejích charakteristik.
Provincie: Co jsme změnili?
Zaprvé, velikost. Z rozlohy 600x600 jsme přešli na 850x850, což mapě umožňuje být hratelná i pro vyšší úrovně. Delší vzdálenost mezi kopci umožní využití kamufláže při zachování nutnosti spotovat. Momentálně je vzdálenost mezi svahy 500 metrů, což je optimální: akorát tak na zahlédnutí nepřítele, pokud je vám poskytnuto nasvícení.
Zadruhé, změnili jsme herní styl. Ve starých dobrých dnech byla Provincie místem, kde šlo o spotování a rychlé přestřelky. K výhře jste potřebovali lepší kamufláž a dohled. V nové verzi mapy bude všechno efektivnější. Vítězství bude vyžadovat pohyb: nestačí jen sedět a čekat, musíte zaútočit. Pokud nebudete tlačit vpřed, udělá to nepřítel a dopadne to pro vás špatně. Útok bude rozhodně adrenalinovou záležitostí: část týmu bude muset vyrazit na nepřítele, zatímco druhá část poskytne palebnou podporu. Útočící skupina to bude mít těžké. Mohou narazit na protiútok nebo schytat pár ran. Pokud se vám však povede zaujmout klíčové pozice, rozbijete obrannou linii nepřátel.
Zatřetí, vytvořili jsme dostatek příležitostí pro taktické experimenty. Přestože jde o kompaktní mapu, nabízí několik bitevních scénářů. Můžete zabrat klíčové pozice pod kopci a nepřátele zamknout v kaňonu nebo se prosmýknout klikatými cestami a zaútočit z více směrů. Může se také stát, že si v zápalu bitvy týmy vymění pozice, protože se budou pohybovat v kruhu.
Jak to tedy dopadne?
Výsledky ze supertestu nám odhalí více. V tuto chvíli je mapa již velmi blízko vypuštění do rotace pro náhodné bitvy - stará dobrá Provincie, která od vás bude vyžadovat více než vytrénovanou schopnost maskování a maskovací síť na tank nízké úrovně.

Sael_: Carristi! Ci avete fatto domande riguardo l'introduzione di
nuove mappe ed il possibile ritorno di alcune delle vostre vecchie
preferite che non ci sono più. Con la mappa Ghiacciaio, abbiamo
soddisfatto la prima questione; con questo post, invece, vogliamo
rispondere alla seconda: la mappa Campania, ripensata e
riaggiustata, sta andando al supertest. Salvo imprevisti, potrete
aspettarvi di trovarla all'interno del gioco molto presto. Ve la
ricordate? Probabilmente è la mappa su cui avete combattuto la
vostra prima battaglia...! Finita, molto probabilmente, con la
distruzione del vostro veicolo da parte di un avversario che non
riuscivate nemmeno a vedere. "Ma come?!" avrete esclamato. Questo
tipo di situazioni facevano parte dei motivi per cui abbiamo
rimosso Campania dal gioco. Era una mappa troppo complicata per i
novellini e troppo piccola per giocare con carri di livelli alti.
Abbiamo quindi creato un nuovo prototipo che ci permetterà di
alleviare questa problematica mantenendo lo spirito iniziale dello
scenario, facendo così tornare Campania tra le mappe disponibili
per le Battaglie Casuali. Cosa abbiamo cambiato nella mappa
Campania? Prima di tutto, la taglia. Siamo passati dagli originari
600mx600m alle più spaziose dimensioni 850mx850m, che permettono
alla mappa di ospitare carri di livello più alto. Una distanza più
lunga tra i simmetrici pendii renderà strategie basate sulla camo
più agevoli ma manterrà vitale le manovre per individuare gli
avversari. Attualmente è una distanza di circa 500m, calibrata
perfettamente per mantenere a portata di tiro gli avversari qualora
venissero individuati. La seconda cosa che abbiamo cambiato è la
giocabilità. Quando era ancora disponibile, Campania era la mappa
preferita di coloro che giocavano di mimetica e raggio
d'avvistamento, per individuare velocemente tutti i nemici e farli
fuori con rapidi scambi di colpi. Nella nuova versione le cose
saranno meno semplici e dirette. Vincere richiederà mantenersi in
movimento: non basterà mantenere la posizione sul proprio pendio,
ma sarà necessario conquistare quello avversario. Se non vi
manterrete in movimento, sarà il nemico a raggiungervi e le cose si
metteranno male. Un assalto sarà un'impresa considerevole: una
parte del vostro team dovrà raggiungere e ingaggiare il nemico,
mentre l'altra dovrà far fuoco di supporto. Il gruppo attaccante
avrà il compito più difficile, rischiando di essere colpito o di
trovarsi faccia a faccia coi veicoli nemici. Tuttavia, raggiunte
determinate posizioni chiave, sarà possibile aggirare le difese
avversarie e sbarazzarsene. Un'ultima cosa che abbiamo aggiunto è
lo spazio necessario, e dunque l'opportunità, di sperimentare nuove
tattiche. Nonostante la mappa sia compatta, ci sono molte
possibilità per la battaglia. Potrete provare a prendere le
posizioni dei nemici a valle e bloccarli nel canyon, oppure potrete
prendere la lunga strada serpentina per un attacco da più
direzioni. Potrebbe accadere che i team si scambino di posizione e
debbano inseguirsi in un girotondo. Cosa ne faremo?
Dipenderà come sempre dai risultati del Supertest. Al momento la
mappa è molto vicina al ritorno nelle Battaglie Casuali - una
Campania che richiederà molto di più dell'abilità "Mimetizzazione"
dell'equipaggiamento del vostro carro o equipaggiare una rete
mimetica su un carro di basso livello. Buona fortuna sul
campo di battaglia!

Geschenkpanzern M60, T95E6, VK 72.01 und 121B für euch. Wie ihr
wisst, gingen die Fahrzeuge gerade durch den Supertest. Heute
beginnt die nächste Phase. Die Werte von drei der vier Fahrzeuge
bleiben unverändert verglichen mit ihren früheren Ausführungen.
Einzig der VK verliert etwas an Feuerkraft. Die Statistiken der
Testphase haben gezeigt, dass eine verbesserte Panzerung ausreicht,
um die Gefechtsleistung des Panzers vergleichbar zu der seiner
Mitstreiter zu machen. Daher entsprechen die Geschützeigenschaften
des VK weiterhin denen der Version, die bereits im Spiel ist.Vielen
Dank an alle, die an den Tests beteiligt waren. Wir hoffen, dass
die weiteren Tests dabei helfen, die Fahrzeuge noch besser
abzustimmen.

Tre su quattro veicoli manterranno le proprie caratteristiche invariate rispetto ai test passati, con il VK unico a subire una diminuzione della potenza di fuoco. Le statistiche che abbiamo accumulato dalle prove passate hanno dimostrato che già aumentare la corazza migliora la giocabilità del carro abbastanza da restare competitivo in battaglia. Dunque, le caratteristiche del cannone del VK saranno le stesse della versione attuale all'interno del gioco.
Ringraziamo un milione di volte tutti coloro che sono coinvolti nella fase di prove. Speriamo che questa tornata di prove ci aiuterà a calibrare perfettametne le caratteristiche di questi veicoli.

Tři ze čtyř tanků si v další fázi testu zachovají své statistiky beze změny, pouze VK ztratí něco ze své palebné síly. Statistiky, které jsme sesbírali z předchozích částí testu ukázaly, že prosté navýšení tloušťky pancíře stačilo k vylepšení hratelnosti vozidel tak, aby v bitvě patřily ke zdatným soupeřům. Z tohoto důvodu se statistiky děla na VK vrací do původního stavu srovnatelného se současnou verzí ve hře.
Velké díky všem, kteří se testování účastní. Doufáme, že současná fáze testování nám pomůže k doladění těchto vozidel.

VIII maps is... very tricky and can produce very counterintuitive
results.

121B. Comme vous le savez, nous avons précédemment déployé ces
véhicules dans le supertest, et aujourd'hui, nous passons à la
phase de test suivante. Trois de ces quatre véhicules verront leurs
caractéristiques inchangées, par rapport aux versions précédentes,
le VK étant le seul à perdre un peu en puissance de feu. Les
statistiques que nous avons collectées lors de la phase de test

sabéis, hemos introducido estos vehículos en el supertest, y hoy
lanzamos la siguiente etapa de pruebas. Tres de estos cuatro
vehículos van a mantener los mismos datos técnicos que las
versiones anteriores. El VK es el único carro que perderá un poco
de potencia de fuego. Los datos que recopilamos en la anterior fase

121B. Jak wiecie, wcześniej wprowadziliśmy te maszyny do
supertestu, a dzisiaj rozpoczynamy kolejną fazę testowania.
Statystyki trzech pojazdów nie zmienią się w porównaniu do
poprzednich iteracji, a VK straci trochę siły ognia. Dane, które
zebraliśmy z poprzednich etapów testu wskazują, że samo zwiększenie
pancerza ulepsza grywalność czołgu na tyle, by dorównywał innym
maszynom w bitwie. Z tego względu charakterystyki działa VK będą
takie same, jak w jego obecnej wersji w grze. Serdecznie dziękujemy
wszystkim zaangażowanym w testy. Mamy nadzieję, że obecny etap
pomoże nam precyzyjnie dostroić charakterystyki tych pojazdów. Do

Berbo: Hello everyone, In the last few weeks we came with a few new
ideas and one of them was Pathfinder. We hoped to increased the
variety of content we're offering and hopefully to entertain you.
The sign ups were very good and we're positively surprised and I'd
like to use this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for
playing, it's made for you guys/gals and we're glad when you join.
Now to the main topic. Due to lack of automatic system for
leagues, we had to find different ways to display your final
position. We were thinking of both damage done and damage received
but none of them was ideal enough. We opted in the end for damage
for the main purpose of encouraging you to attack, not to pit team
mates against each other or to cause unfair situations for some due
to afk teams. Afk teams is something we cannot control, at some
points teams decide they cannot win anything and they simply leave.
We know that EVERY one of you faces AFK teams at some point, while
it's not ideal it should affect everyone with same intensity.
Unfortunately, the experiences were different, a lot of you felt
frustration and unfairness with this system and read your feedback
and applied numerous changes to future editions of "pathfinder"-
like competitions. Thank you for continuous flow of feedback on the
forum, it means you helped us improve it and we rely you'll do it
countless times again to make sure you get competitions tailored
for you. For Week 2 of Pathfinder we want to introduce a
little fix to the rules or to be exact and small tune to make it
more fair. Instead of top damage for ranking, we'll use average
damage done. For top performers this doesn't change a thing but for
others who are affected by AFK teams, this fix will mean having an
AFK team will have lesser impact on their standings. As some
may already ask what happens with AFK battles, we will exclude them
from the calculation. Your overall damage will not be divided by
all games, but only games you actually played. We hope this
will improve the experience for 2nd week and we hope you'll join
our next big competition in the following weeks. Thank you!

Forgive me for wanting a competition to have rules that are
adhered to that is fair and not abused. So that people who actually
try and follow the rules aren't punished for not having a lack of
moral compass. As for what I was writing... you mean

someone else about positions and those abusing the ladder and
rules.... then you wade in defending people who break
rules.....

break rules should be banned from the competition, you called this
"lazy". I rebutted your obvious wild statement based on an

Regions like NA are limited to America + Canada for
instance. If you don't enforce regions, why bother with region

get a prize? If you're confused look further back where i said all
rule breaking should be enforced stringently. Account sharing,
