Game Discussion\Gameplay Discussion\Statistically impossible loosing strikes

Mostra, on 20 June 2011 - 09:51 PM, said: In the last 24 hours I've lost 85-90% of my "random" battles, using
my Objekt 704. This is not an overstatement. I guess I've played
between 50 and 100 battles in that time period. This is NOT random.
I refuse to believe that I can be so unlucky. My stats looked
deasent before sunday, now they look like crap. There has to be a
reason to why this happen. Matchmaking seems to have been normal
tier-wise. It's almost like I'm playing with, or against, bots. I
usually do my job, killing off a couple of bad guys before we
loose. So it's not me. I could kill 0 or 8. And still loose:p Most
of the losses have been huge as well. 15-3, 15-5 etc etc
The sad thing is that this really put me off playing. I know many are complaining about these loosing-strikes. There has to be an explanation. Tier and equipment can not be the only thing counting when matcmaking is calculated. Maybe player experiance? Player stats?
Things seem normal on my other tanks....
Any thougts? Or explanation from developers?

Overlord: Total random, bad luck. We are not using special scripts or
algorithms that take into account player's performance (win/lose
ratio).

Can I ask if the captured Russian tanks in Germany service (PzKpfw.KV-1 756® & PzKpfw.T34 747®) will be accuratly represented in the game?
By which I mean will they carry as they did in real life the Russian 76.2mm gun that is re-chambered to fire the German 75mm shells, and will these shells be accurate?
Because it was shown that our 76.2mm gun with German 75mm shells possessed greater armor penetration rates and higher accuracy.

rectify the current problems with the tank compared to its
counterparts?
Surely some small tweaks aren't too much to ask, and by pushing the planned exchange of tier 9s back, the American heavy community will surely be disappointed.
Q2: What are the performance stats for the T34? (While we're on the topic of tier 9 heavy stats
)
Q3: If we cannot see the camo stats ingame because they will 'clutter up the UI', but we are not told them anywhere else, could they be posted on the game website?
If the only reason for them being unavailable is that of 'clutter', then there is no reason not to put them on the website/wiki.
Edit:
Q4: Are there any plans to rework the reward for tracking system (i.e. make the exp rewarded for detracking an enemy proportional to the damage done by teammates to the tank while detracked)?
Currently detracking isn't rewarded very much, even if you keep an IS7 permatracked so your arty can take it out easily. This is a much better team action than taking 5% off the IS7 with HE, but is rewarded less.

2. Looks competitive it terms of average experience, its win ratio is fairly lower.
3. At this stage they are considered to be a part of internal data. And I'm not sure if they are going to be make public any time soon.
4. Detracking is rewarded with a minor exp bonus, however you get it only for the first detracking (of each vehicle ofc), both tracks are counted separately.

was set for 7.00 UTC. Namely then the first battles started.

The first semi-finals were held between the teams struggling in 10/140 division. By the time they started a lot of spectators (and not only WOT amateurs!) had filled the venue.

The audience consisted of representatives of the community as well as mass-media. Despite rich entertainment programme the main focus of attention was on superfinalists. However nothing could distract them from the game – they were all seriousness and concentration!

As soon as the battle started the players merged into its atmosphere. Solid teamplay, sophisticated strategies and tactics, experience and professionalism were the recipe of success. Plus the presence of judges put extra mental pressure. By the by the judges panel consisted of WOT development team representatives, mostly game-designers and community managers.

Tense battles were followed by awesome shows including terrific violin performance, complicated acrobatic stunts and a lot of interaction with the audience.

Quick-witted presenter, a lot of contests, lotteries and even giving away T-shirts with WOT logos, promo-codes… that was how the event was going on for spectators.

Without describing the details of the battles WOT development team thanks everyone who took part in them. We send our congratulations to all the representatives of European and North American servers on outstanding combat performance. We also would like to thank Pirates (EU-server) who showed the highest results among all European and American teams – they took the second place in 8/90 division Ural Steel Grand Finals.

The winners of the championship got their prizes from the sponsor UralVagonZavod.

I guess this is possible if you are a developer and can hack your account to get which ever tank you want with any possible module (not mentioning premium shells), at that point they get an unfair advantage and they shouldn't be listed along normal account.
Other way of seen this is that some people that pay money for this game (included me, that payed real money for 10 additional tank slots) are been cheated by playing against players that have access to unlimited ressources.
Please correct this, if this is allowed at this level, we wonder what else is allowed to happen.

Other way of seen this is that some people that pay money for this game (included me, that payed real money for 10 additional tank slots) are been cheated by playing against players that have access to unlimited ressources.
Please correct this, if this is allowed at this level, we wonder what else is allowed to happen.
Naming and shaming is not permitted within the forums, Especially trying to soil a players reputation by false and incorrect assumptions.

Tanitha: Exp can be swapped off a elite tank to free exp, to be spent on
other tanks. Its pretty easy to free exp through a tank that you
dont like. The same as I saved up free exp to skip the T34 to go
straight into the T30.
Players, or admin's accounts are not altered in anyway. You can see that by browsing my stats and tanks. The only exception is press accounts that are made for specific promotions, or WG admin accounts which are made for specific events and then locked again after the event.

Tan.

series?
and could you please take a look into the King Tiger credit/exp income? it seems broken.
with no other T8 heavy its so hard to make profit.
for example 3 battle reports, all of them won + close combat (because sniping = less exp + credits)
to compare, a battle report from my stock T32 (its a loss)
i can give you more examples if you want.

Overlord: 1. Not planning to change speed limits at present.
2. KT credits/experience income is totally fine. It earns more than IS-3 and less than T32.

Kieme, on 18 June 2011 - 02:22 PM, said: E 100 was to have (actually, the completed hull had) Maybach HL 230
P30 Engine, V-12, 600 HP, a theoretical speed of 23km/h, but I
think devs will put some stronger engine on it, as it was planned:
a 1200HP engine (think of the Maus one); so, if numbers are
correct, the E 100 should weight quite less than the Maus: around
125 tons, vs the over 180 of Maus (but the turret here is
decisive)... if the engine is the Maybach HL 230 P30 (maybe the
stock one), we will have a generally slower tank (lower HP/ton
ratio than Maus one), if the engine is the same of the Maus (maybe
the best upgrade) we should have a generally faster tank, maybe not
much faster in terms of top speed but at least with a significantly
better HP/ton ratio.
All in all there is enough to estimate the E 100 would have been at least a little faster and more agile than the Maus (with a similar engine at least).

Overlord: 600 HP won't be enough for its weight.
