anniversary etc. The start of July will be full of such great days.
To make these weeks fun, as per numerous requests, we shall start
our first musical contest!
The contest will end on the 11th of July 23:59 UTC
Important notes about contest entries:
-WoT-mix is a musical composition, which consists of samples, in-game sound and voices, and each participant’s individual creations
-Participants are free and welcome to use any audio editors for content modification, as well as for creation of new content
- Every player can take part in the contest. Composition should be attached to a post or uploaded to any free file server, saved in MP3 format, and must not exceed 10mb in size and the length of the MP3 must be between 2 to 5 minutes.
- Entries will be accepted only in this topic.
- Contest work should not violate the game/forum rules, or EULA.
- Use of any copyrighted materials is prohibited and the violator of author rights will be suspended from taking part in any Wargaming.net meetings/contests/events for next 77 days.
First prize will be 6 000 gold.
The runner-up will receive 5 000 gold.
3rd place will get 4 000 gold.

3 - according to EULA every user has to complete with local laws himself. We won't pursue people for using parts of copy righted images, but we will remove the work from the contest, if we receive complaints from authors or their official representatives, or right holders.

It's very easy to blame other people, nations, regimes for things *some* of our own people have supported. No excuses towards those who made decision to invade and no excuses to those who called for such help. There are many great books in Czech language written about who made the decision and how it all ended.
There is no need to blame full nations for decisions made by few, such generalizations are very popular amongst modern radical groups - it's all "Someone Else's Fault, Not Ours". As I have said - there were persecutions inside Soviet Union and other countries towards those who demonstrated against invasion of Czechoslovakia. These people supported our nation. Let's not forget their sacrifice as well.
Let's not forget our own people who have decided to fight the regime.
Let's not forget how many of our own people did support the regime...
If you forget your past, you are condemned to relive it.

The entire Championship justified its prefix "international", as players from all over the world came to Moscow to take part in the Grand Finals held by Wargaming.net: the United States, Argentina, Britain, Russia, Poland, Ireland, Israel, Sri Lanka, Chile, Germany, Ukraine and Belarus.
Moreover, each team’s players arrived to different airports and at different time, making "one flight - one team" statement impossible to use here. Three main Moscow airports: Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo welcomed our brave warriors all day and night long.







Immediately upon arrival most players went for sightseeing in Moscow. In four hours they visited Hill of Respectful Salutation, Red Square and the Vorobyovy Hills. And surely, players did not skip a single inch of picturesque places, shooting all things they could see.






An interesting aspect I would like to point out is that all Ural Steel participants stayed in the same hotel; however they all coexisted in peace helping each other greatly and sharing all they had! To cut it short, there were no cases of offense or insult and all World of Tanks tankers lived like a complete union of nations.




The highly anticipated Ural Steel Championship Day started at 7 a.m. for its participants and organizers. Although it was due to start officially at 11 a.m., the hall was almost full of visitors in half an hour before it. Guests came alone, with their spouses, with their kids or with entire teams. And all of them reacted eagerly and lively to all happening onstage. A breathless atmosphere reigned when the outcome of a battle depended entirely on a single player.





You all know the results of the Championship, but it is more interesting to listen to representatives of different game servers sharing their impressions left from Ural Steel. Thus, American tankers admitted aggressive manner of playing of Russians, while Russian players noted some interesting tactics of American and European teams. Surely, Ural Steel was a great chance for all three servers to put down challenging things which might be useful in further struggles in World of Tanks battlefields.










Last day was devoted to tank museum in Kubinka. The tankers got into buses and rushed to the real tank depot, which is certainly a dream of any WoT player.
Of course, the universal delight was the legendary MS-1. The visit to the museum expanded tankers’ vocabulary by adding a new joke that "now we know where to put the tea leaves into it." And the thing they discussed was the hatch which the crew used to get inside the tank.

And how can one describe full depth of his feelings when seeing a Maus, IS-7 or the legendary KV?

Oh and if i get a RO for suggesting stuff, well, I wouldn't need to if i had a suggestions forum where I could post in confidence that my thoughts (and questions with regards to the thoughts) were heard.

Overlord: 1. Your question was regarding clan wars. Tier 1 tanks are not
competitive there on default.
2. The same balancing methodology is (and will be) applied to all tanks, figures are unbiased.

Overlord: M26 currently earns more experience per battle than ANY other tank

Overlord: KV-1S performance is rather good, the changes are unlikely to come.
