but the more I thought about it, the dev are trying to be active in the community and give us something special here. There are trying to make it feel different and add spice to things. I am not sure of their implmentation, but the effort IS nice to see. All too often in this game and especially in CW, the Devs have been silent too often or flat out nonexistent. So seeing some interest from them in CW is actually rather nice.
I also understand that only the top 1% of players in this game are in CW land holding clans. With the new NA maps even fewer clans and players will be holding land now, so doing and event where everyone can be a part of it is kind of neat so everybody can try and be a part of it, even tho later on it will still be the big boys playing.
One thing that could be interesting is to open the entire Western hemisphere.. make some of the carribean landings or south american landings tier 3 only.. central america tier 8 only.. and then North America be old fashioned CW.  Adjust gold income accordingly, (A t3 territory isnt worth what a t8 is etc.) They you open CW to alot more people while not impacting the top dogs much.
so while I am not thrilled about having to spam chips as fast as possible on opening night to even make sure you can participate in the first 0.0001 seconds it is open to make sure we get a spot.. I do like that the devs are trying to give us something back besides just constant nerfs.
