Dakiras: Since this is a topic that everyone is keen to discuss and show their opinions on right now, we thought it would be best to make a pinned topic so that all discussions can be made here!   For the patch notes on the reworked team damage system, you can find it here! Or below:   General provisions: Reworked the Damage Control System in relation to allies. In particular, damage to a tank by its platoon-mate is now considered illegal and therefore punishable. Punishments in the team damage (the so-called “team hit” - damaging a vehicle on your own team) and team kill control system (destroying a vehicle on your own team) have become more severe, and at the same time more factors are now taken into account: penalty points for particular kinds of violations will be calculated with consideration of accidental team damage. The chance of account suspension (“ban”) increases with each consequent damaging of allied vehicles in the same battle. SPGs have special penalty point calculations to rule out accidental team damage (hitting an ally with ‘splash’ etc.). Ramming allied tanks is also treated as foul play and an illegal action. The tank whose speed at the moment of collision was higher will be considered the offender. The accumulated penalty points can be reduced by destroying enemy vehicles in the battles in which the allied team wins. The duration of the first suspension has been reduced to one hour.   Improved the system of compensation to the victim of team damage: The repair costs of the team damage victim are compensated in all cases. Apart from the repair cost, the offender will also pay the affected party 10% of the total repair costs.  The offender will pay the affected party not only with credits received for the battle, but also with credits available on the offender’s account.   More severe punishments will be applied in the following scenarios: If the enemy base capture has been interrupted by an ally (by the means of ramming or shooting). If modules on an allied tank have been damaged (by the ramming or shooting). If an allied tank has been destroyed.   Less serious punishments (but a penalty rating increase nonetheless) will be applied in the following scenarios: If an allied vehicle has been damaged accidentally while the player was aiming at the enemy tank. If an allied vehicle has been accidentally damaged with fragments of a high-explosive shell (by the so-called “splash”).  If, after firing, both the enemy vehicle and an allied vehicle were damaged.    Pro tip! The automated Friendly Fire and Team Kill system was first introduced into World of Tanks back in April 2011, since its introduction there has been many tweaks and adjustments so it's time for an update of how the system works.

Friendly Fire Tracking.
There are two systems for the tracking of Friendly Fire;
A Global Rating which tracks Friendly Fire from the account over a period of time, and a Local Rating which tracks Friendly Fire within a specific game.

What Counts as Friendly Fire?
All instances of Friendly Fire & Friendly Damage are tracked, except the following.
• Self destruction / Self damage
• Damaging of a player whose local status equals “Team-killer” (They are "Blue" in game)
• Damaging of a player within your Platoon/Tank Company. No longer applicable since 8.11
• Damaging of a player within the Training Room.

Friendly Fire Weighting.
Every Friendly Fire shot is not equal.
The auto system takes a huge number of factors into consideration to determine whether a friendly fire shot was accidental or deliberate and each shot is weighted accordingly.
For example Friendly Fire in or within the cap zones are weighted very heavily, similarly are multiple instances of friendly fire.
Ratios are also taken into consideration comparing friendly damage to damage done to enemies. Both locally (this game) and globally (recent gaming history)

Friendly Fire Sanctions.
Depending on the ratio's and thresholds mentioned above. when a player reaches a threshold they will turn "Blue" in game and can then be shot/killed by allies without that effecting the retaliatory FF/TK ratio's.
Slightly above the threshold for turning blue, is the Ban threshold, which once reached will result in a game ban placed on the offender.
It is very common for a player to turn "Blue" and then also be banned, it is also very common for a player to reach one of the ban thresholds and be banned without ever turning blue.

Blue Status.
As described above, the "Blue" status is a small section between being a normal account and being banned for excessive friendly fire.
If you have reached this "Blue" status in game, please note that your account is bordering on game bans being placed.
How long does the blue status last? It will last as long as your ratio's are at that threshold.
How do you revert back to normal? Play the game as normal, and damage enemy tanks to reduce your ratios.

Game Ban Sanctions.
Once an account has reached the threshold sufficient for sanctions to be placed, escalating bans will be issued. 1 Day Game Ban 3 Day Game Ban 7 Day Game Ban 30 Day Game Ban Permanent Game Ban Reporting Friendly Fire or Team Kills.
The auto Friendly Fire and TK system has been thoroughly tested and tweaked over the last 16 months since its introduction. It works and works well, taking into consideration a multitude of scenarios.
As such, no reports of friendly fire are required, nor are they accepted. All tickets sent to support reporting team killers will be replied to stating this fact with the player sent to this post for more information.
Similarly all disputes on FF/TK sanctions will also not be accepted.
As most of you are aware, there has been a complaints feature in game which contains an option for reporting TKers. Thank you for using this feature in the past, it has helped us perfect the auto system currently in place. However as mentioned above, reports on Friendly Fire and Team Killing are no longer required or handled manually. So reports made for team-killing in game, will no longer be processed or required. It is planned to have this option removed from the in game reporting system in a future update.
Reporting Friendly Fire, or disputing sanctions for Friendly Fire within the forums are both against the forum rules.

Abuse of Physics.
With the upcoming update (8.0) and the introduction of Physics, it will then be possible for players to find new and creative ways of killing allies that will not initially be covered by the auto system.
The rules will shortly be adjusted to cover this game adjustment. But in short, unfairly pushing allied tanks around will be against the game rules.
Since this new issue will not be covered by the auto system, players will be required to submit reports (containing replays for verification) of these rule violations to support.worldoftanks.com
For example, pushing allied tanks off cliffs or bridges or out of cover and into enemy fire.
Killing an allied tank or causing an allied tank to be killed by exploiting the new physics system, will result in 24 hour game bans being placed for the first offense.

Compensation and Penalties for Friendly Damage.
To avoid exploitation of the system, compensation for Friendly Fire you have received will be low, and in some instances may be nil.
To encourage players to take due care and abide by the rules, credit penalties for Friendly Fire are high.
The credit compensation you receive is not directly related to the penalty paid by the offender.

Public Tests.
Support is not available for the Public Test server. This includes reports of rule violations.
The auto system handles friendly fire on the Public Test server the same as it handles it on the retail servers (as described above)

iScending: Troll threads aren't really needed Krunar so I'll lock this.   Ban you? Absolutely not :). I actually giggled a little when I read this yet still it's a thread that has no place on the forums :).

Dakiras: As it's a laptop, I'd definitely suggest tweaking down some of graphics options. It's quite likely to be a heat/driver issue since laptops are very commonly running into these issues.   I'd suggest trying to start a training battle or something like this so that you can see whether it's just on the client, or in-game as well. If it's just the client then you may be able to fix this with a few updates. If it's the game as well, update your drivers and see if there's a heat issue with the laptop.   As I say, it's likely our support teams will have some ideas of things you can try, too.

iScending: OP, I'm sorry you were banned, but as the old saying goes:   Don't do the crime if you can't do the time   You broke the rules. You team killed. There is never an excuse for doing it. 
We changed the parameters for the system in the last patch and it is now much stricter (as you may have noticed) and as a result more players will find themselves banned. Hopefully this will lead to less team killing since it's not something that we tolerate.

Já zjišťuju aktuální dění a všeobecné reakce, tedy mně stačí, že všeobecná reakce je, že lidé mají lagy (a plošná informace v tomto případě z naší strany je v důležitých informacích), ale konkrétmí případy (při jiných technických potížích) už musí řešit podpora, pokud neb dokud na to neexistuje plošné řešení, protože spousta technických problémů se hodnotí dle infa ke konkrétnímu počítači. Dle času se mi někdy podaří zabrouzdat do různých vláken nebo jsem upozorněna moderátorem, že je někde třeba má přítomnost nebo někde zaznamenávám zvýšenou aktivitu v příspěvcích, ale přečíst celé forum příspěvek od příspěvku - to má práce opravdu není. Možná to tak vypadá, ale děláme toho trochu víc než jen čteme a odpovídáme na foru...

Dakiras: Too many cooks spoil the broth, so I won't try to give advice over Am3r, but I'll just say that if you're unable to resolve the issue then definitely send a ticket to our support team and they'll be able to help you. They can also have a look at your PC specs and see if there's a known issue with recent drivers/patches/etc.

Dakiras: That's very nicely played. I think it's safe to say that was a game carried, in the truest sense of the word.

IPaul72: Hello there I would say back up the folder of your old game & mods and re download the full client and re install, unfortunately I had the same problem and this worked for me. However, if this still fails to work then you may have to get in contact with support and hopefully they will be able to solve the problem for you. Kind regards IPaul72

Berbo:   You shouldn't be trying to find them if they're not allowed    I think you wanted to say is there a list of mods which are forbidden. No, there's no such list. But always have this in mind.  Forbidden mods are those which give an unfair advantage over your opponent.   Regards
