think it is a simi-automated system with final bans being looked at
only. NyxWGA: It is not automated in any way. No strikes will be handed out based
on automation.
petersway, on Aug 01 2016 - 15:03, said: I am very worried about this policy, what about false complaints?
even friends in the same game can gang up on an innocent and make
him(her) look bad. This should be reconsideredNyxWGA: All complaint will be investigated. If you did nothing wrong, then
there will be no strike, regardless of how many people report it.
Tolos, on Aug 01 2016 - 15:04, said: Sweet if i get a perma ban i can just make a forum alt...so
if that's the case...why bother at all ?.NyxWGA: If I had determined it was alt of a formerly perma banned account,
then I would have taken action. The issue has been resolved to my
satisfaction, meaning you are making incorrect assumptions about
the account.
The_Fabulous_Mr_Mocoman, on Aug 01 2016 - 15:08, said: False complaints? When some one ask me how I like my coffee,
and my response is like my coffee like my men, black a permaban
offense? Because according to the mods, that was overly sexual, and
worth a 1 day ban, and 5 of those are worth a permabanned offense.
That seems to me is a mod who has other issues, other then a silly
joke about coffee, and I don't want to be permanned from the
forums, because I like to make a silly joke once and awhile and
that a mod thinks liking black men is a bannable offense.NyxWGA: You left off the last part of the sentence, the part that made it
overly sexual. I have deliberately not quoted it in its entirety
either, because it's inappropriate. I don't want you to quote it
exactly either, but it was overly sexual and was treated as such.
BoilerBandsman, on Aug 01 2016 - 15:14, said: So completely inappropriate that no one in the thread
commented on them, or knew why he was banned.
"Transparency."NyxWGA: Multiple players did think they were inappropriate, even for CR/D,
and reported the posts. Having the post reported is what triggers
us to go and look at it in the first place, but we still then make
a determination of whether it was actually inappropriate or not. I
reviewed that ban before it was placed, and agreed with the
determination.
heavywx, on Aug 01 2016 - 16:07, said: I'm sorry but if your butt is under 18 years old you
shouldn't be playing world of tanks anyway. It's a violent game
that is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. If a Kid is
playing this and sees a 4 letter word then that falls on the
parents for allowing their kids to play such a violent game Period.
And you are correct there to a point. WG is a cooperation not
an individual see the difference. And the US constitution Is the
highest law in the land, which WG NA has to abide by, which gives
me the RIGHT (you know those things that can't be taken away from
you) to say what's on my mind as long as its not a plausible
threat. That includes a kid hearing or seeing it sorry. SO take
your PC crap somewhere elseNyxWGA: Our game is rated T for Teen, and is supposed to be suitable for
ages 13 and up. You are incorrect that you have a right to say
whatever you want. We have the right to keep our games and websites
friendly for players 13 and up. We as a business are not allowed to
censor people based on things like race, religion, age, sexual
orientation, the standard list of things you aren't allowed to
discriminate against. We can however censor folks who harass,
bully, use hate speech, use profanity, etc.
WOT_Smartguy, on Aug 01 2016 - 16:08, said: SO to clarify, automatated TK bans will still roll off and
not be counted against you under the new system?NyxWGA: Correct
JTM78, on Aug 01 2016 - 16:22, said: 1. How are rule offending player notified that they get strike or
warning? Through email for in-game, through forum PM for forums2. Some players have been here for 5 years and a strike a year would not think be hard to get. I don't like the permanent ban idea with no roll off for small things. If it's inconsequential and truly "small" it shouldn't be a strike. Perma bans cannot be placed by everyone on staff - they must be reviewed by a team lead. If the lead saw that any of the strikes had been incorrectly placed, the perma would not be issued.
3. Do multiple report for the same issue in the same match count as multiple strikes? No
4. Since the TK/ team system is staying the same, can tk or team damage get you strikes? Not TK that is punished by the system. We do still review complaints of physics abuse that the system doesn't always correctly categorize (barrel in barrel is one of those) If it is something that is reviewed by staff, and hand placed, then it is a strike.
5. Will support be on line 24/7 to help with banned or strike for offending players? Support is already available 24/7, 7 days a week. Our turnaround for tickets last week was between 3-10 hours. 3 hours for easy stuff like a tank restorations, longer for things like refunds that require we check with the payment aggregator. Three different games for WG patched last week and standard tickets with questions about patches has caused turnaround time to increase, but that is normal the week after a patch.
I understand as a on again off again player that something most be do with/about toxic players and I would like to see them gone but this maybe to broad of a fix.

Tickle_Monster, on Aug 01 2016 - 16:38, said: I'm sorry, does your title not say "Player Experience Specialist
Supervisor"? Do you know what the "player experience"
covers? It covers a "player's experieince". That means
pub matches, tournys, clan wars, RAMPAGE MODE, etc. That
means rules violations for rigging public matches is within your
area. Answer the question on T-22s. Why were players
allowed to rig matches to get them, banned, most likely by the
"player experience" group, but allowed to keep them. Prove
to the community, right here, right now, you're worth a salt of
your word you want us to take you on right now.NyxWGA: If I had an answer I would give it to you. I was not involved in
any of the discussions about rigging. I do know that much of what
was decided was decided at a global level. I am not pretending that
nothing happened there, or that we had the absolute perfect
response to it. There were many different responses, and all of
them had downsides, so it was about trying to choose the best
solution when all of the solutions were flawed in some way. But its
totally outside the scope of this conversation - this conversation
is about players receiving strikes for misbehavior, not about why
we didn't take tanks away. The part of that situation that is
relevant to this conversation would be the part where they got
banned, which would have counted as a strike.
