Arty damage reduction

Draschel: What I am talking about, is that when the game
went public with alpha/beta testing, artillery was not
available. Went it continued into open launch, becoming live for
anyone to freely join, artillery was still not available.
Artillery became available in one of the first patches, and at that
time only went to tier 6. Then it was expanded to tier 8. So that
is what I am talking about, whatever development may say - the game
entered fruittion and the die was cast, without artillery playing
any part in the game whatsoever. Why would development need to
remove it, if the game continued as is and was never even
introduced. Back in the earliest of days, arty wasn't even
around, hence not popular. This is not a good argument,
and certainly not one for saying to another, "think about
it" War gaming World of tanks is notorious for
introducing broken aspects which interfere with their concept
model. The initial balancing triangle of the game, were balancing
pillars of a heavy tank, in 3 camps. Speed, firepower, armor. We
call this the IS7/Maus/T30 model. The game was balanced, ultimately
this way. IS7 was provided speed, average armor, poor firepower.
Maus had armor, average firepower, poor speed. T30 had excellent
firepower, average speed, poor armor. See the balance, its
stringent and carefully allocated, with heavy tanks at the core
because only they went on to tier X. Please, don't be naive.
But if you do want examples, sure. It is a first person
shooter. Many first person shooters follow a 3rd person additional
view, like gears of war / Lost Planet / Fallout 3.I am making
nothing up. Everything said is very much
true.
