player, it never feels like you get as many good rolls as bad, and
mostly we don't considering the game pits you against 29 other
players each time. Even with true random rng, the game can and does
easily influence which side does what with rng without ever
breaking out of random probability. The way your team can't seem to
pen anything, or gets a lot of bounces or those annoying 1hp left
mercy rolls which allow the enemy to kill you. Especially when your
normal roll is in the 400-450 range, and you hit him for 230
leaving that 1hp. Having 29 other people to pit you against each
time allows everyone to get so many more bad rolls compared to
good. And of course perception bias. But rng can easily make a
giant difference again and again, and good or bad, the way RNG
intrudes is why people get so upset at the mechanic. Good players
might do better long term, but they suffer RNG even more than a bad
player. They just mitigate it better. I prefer to worship Our Holy
Mother of 1hp left mercy Shots. For she is a fickle goddess and
makes me rage mightily
DeviouslyCursed: Do you have any evidence you get low rolls more than high?
Keep in mind if you have something that shows overall shot damage,
you have to account for kill shots usually doing less
damage. If you don't have any evidence, it's just wild
assertions, and can be dismissed with no evidence as well. So,
appears random to me. Aaaaand you're done.
