been added to the minimap. They provide information to the
player to enable them to position themselves better in order to
minimise the chance of being detected and where they can shoot at
maximum range or view. XVM isn't just about "gameplay
experience" though is it? It provides information to the
player over and above the information delivered through
the vanilla client. You're confusing post game analysis on
stats below with dynamic information provided to the
player in game. How does knowing that tank X on the enemy is
a unicum help me improve. It doesn't Sorry eek, I know you
like plain speaking so I'll say that your logic doesn't stack up.
If XVM was about improvement then it would be a mod that
delivered information on performance after a game. XVM
delivers information to players that enable them to make tactical
decisions in game that they might not take if it wasn't for that
information. So does having a viewrange circle on the minimap. As I
can see my view range I might decide not to move from my bush as
it's fine to stay where I am. So why isn't PR one of the
pieces of information I can select to view on an enemy tank through
the client? The client tells me their name which is irrelevant
information. By your logic knowing their PR is equally irrelevant
so why doesn't it tell me that?eekeeboo: The range circles were good at informing people and helping
to show them where their radio worked, their vision range was and
how the spotting worked etc. It very much helped demonstrate to
players what proxy spotting was.

and arguably leads to more losses when people use it to focus set
players instead of trying to win and you get the "40% chance to win
gg" comments etc. XVM was around before PR got
changed, both tend to be easily inflated, XVM was needed because of
how heavily weighted it was in the past to set variables. You can
change XVM to show PR if you really want them to and help you
improve or see where a good player is when you die and spectate
them to see how you could improve.

decisions based on the information that we have at hand. Here we
have a tool that helps with target prioritisation and situational
adaptation. There are more things going on in this game than the
vroom-vroom and the pew-pew, you know. eekeeboo: I do believe that, xvm doesn't give you an edge, it presents
you with different information and can lead you to think you know
more, but most pro level players and top end players don't use XVM
and still perform at a high standard. Because they focus on threats
and important targets over an abritrary number or colour that can
be a representation of player skill or how much a player used their
hellcat to boost rating over 3k battles.
_HakunaMatata_, on 28 February 2019 - 11:19 PM, said: WAIT PLEASE..... This is what you said: Because
XVM doesn't add anything beneficial to the base game experience.
I as a arty player am in a platoon with 2 more people. We
all have XVM and we see who enemy is. The match is this. 3 tier 10,
7 tier 9 and the rest is tier 8. We see that in a AMX 50B is
a sheep player because his stats are red and he has over 15k
battles. We see another tier 10 like Leopard who is red as well,
which means a sheep. Another sheep in tier 10. Now in our teal we
have 3 platoons in tier 9 who are from FAME with stats over
3400WN8. We then have good players in enemy side in tier 9. My
platoon from FAME says arty, hit the tier 9 because they're good
players. We go hit tier 9 and kick them out of the match. Now you
have the sheep in tier 10 and all what you do is kick them into the
black hole because they UNLOCKED their tanks with papi gold wallet
or teams who won their games. YOU TELL ME THAT XVM is
beneficial? I don't know in what world you guys live but you
clearly don't have the basic human instinct to understand this.
XVM is a cheat for the team a cheat for you as a player and
a total destruction for the game. If I am in a war and I
know where the commander of an army is I hit him first. I
really don't know what else to say. I feel like talking to myself
because no one from WG makes sense or has been asked to pretend
like you. eekeeboo: And do you always focus on the targets people tell you to?
Or do you look at the flanks that need the help and help take out
the tanks pushing your lines and tanks back. XVM isn't
cheating, it can be a tool to help you improve if that's the metric
you want to use, but using it to choose who you shoot isn't getting
the best out of the mod. If you know where the commander is and you
spend all your resources there, the rest of the forces are going to
have fun flanking you. You will always have someone
finding your name and finding a way to measure your game
performance and then put people on a rating scale, we even had the
lumberjack rating!
