Overlord: Actually not necessarily, e.g. crew can be taken out by armor
splinters, that break off from inside the vehicle, even if there
was no penetration at all.

Overlord: All the updates are still on schedule as it was announced. However
we are shifting some content from one update to another, since
there is some speed difference between the work of various
teams.

Overlord: Tiger(P) will be researchable via 3001(P), the experience dumped on
the latter will be kept. You will be able to spend it on research.

Overlord: We haven't made up our mind on the exact roadmap yet since there is
certain uncertainty in vehicle production. Currently it looks this
way:
6.5 update - US TDs, Patton, 2 premiums - end of June - beginning of July
6.6 update - E-series, Porsche tanks - end of July - August
6.7 update - M103, T110 (?), some Soviet tree revision - September (?)
7.0 update - major update with new features - ETA to be announced
6.7 is not confirmed.

This way it is still possible for a module(s) to absorb 50% of the projectile damage, but that projectile will also always do SOME health damage.
It is beyond stupid that you can hit a med with a BL-10 round (average pen 286, av damage 750) and hear 'critical hit' that seemingly does nothing. Not tracked, not stopped, gun still firing...nothing. I don't give a #$#&*T!! about modules. I want the target DEAD.
For the record, the examples I'm thinking of with BL-10 are hits that penetrate THE TURRET of the target.
Would appreciate a reply.

Overlord: Critical hit means critical damage to crew or modules has been
inflicted (crew member or module has been taken out). The actual
amount of HP may stay the same. And the effect of critical damage
may not be visible for the player who inflicted it.

Overlord: 1. Being made in complete 3d hit boxes don't provide perfect level
of accuracy, randomization is needed for gameplay purposes.

As most of you are aware, there was a "Save Private Andrew Ryze/Ryan" event about 3 weeks ago.
The event was split up into two sections. One event in the AUS timezone, and another event in the USA timezone.
USA Timezone Event.
Screenshots were taken, lists were drawn-up, however the person in charge of the USA timezone event became critically ill, and we have been unable to contact them since.
Our best wishes, prayers and hopes, go out for him and his family...
However, the show must still go on, so, my deepest apologies to the players involved, and we/I shall attempted to piece things together for you. I know a lot of you still have the screenshots saved, If you could please provide them to me, I'll get them paid-out on quickly. With just one screenshot saved per 30 players, we should be able to get this done.
Oceania Timezone Event.
Events are usually paid out as a whole, So the Oceania lists were delayed in being paid-out, awaiting for the other 1/2 of the results.
They have now been fully payed, including any issues that arose due to the recent name change event.
Providing screenshots.
Please upload them to http://imageshack.us/ And please ensure you set it to "DO NOT RESIZE" And then link the photo into the website.
Please do not put IMG tags around the photo, too many large photos displayed in the one thread will cause lag issues.
If you have trouble getting the photos in a nice easy to read format like the above, please send them to me any way you can : )

Your net seems fine if you can ping to the server within 123..
It "was" working,. so it shouldn't be a lack of computer problem.
There is no bans or anything on your account.
Its limiting where the possible problem is..
I would suggest you try reinstalling the game, to a different directory.

As above, because the problem is mainly with traffic jams in the internet streets. You can force your computer to take a different street with a VPN system, which is similar to a proxy. There is many paid VPN systems out there, that are approximately $10 a month, But i prefer to use the free one, Hotspot shield. Its free because it installs adverts into your browser. However these adverts can be switched off with "add block plus" a firefox/crome addon. Which then just leaves you a free and add free VPN service.
Running hotspot currently reduces my ping by approximately 350.

It might help some of the players who experiencing problems with their route to World of Tanks.
Paid VPN will probably provide a better solution, but the free one above works ok.
Please keep us up to date with your problems, and we will keep you up to date with our progress.

As MadHatter explains below the internet is a busy city street network, if too much traffic is forced down a highway it is susceptible to traffic jams and holdups. The solution is to reduce the traffic going through the streets, make the streets bigger so they can handle the traffic, or to plan a new route to take different streets.
Depending on your location, different internet routes are taken to get to World of Tanks servers. Some of those routes, not all, are getting traffic jams at certain times.
Wargamming has been working on the issues from many fronts, reducing its traffic generated, bypassing some problem areas, and organizing some streets to be expanded.
Most of the current problems are coming from remote area's such as the remote area's of Australia or people using Telstra for some examples.
We again apologize for the situation, and will continue working on the issue from our end, and also with the network companies in control of the traffic jams.
If you wish to help get your particular lag issues fix, please provide us with information in the following format.
1. Download pingplotter from here. LINK
2. Connect to login-master.worldoftanks.com
3. Let it run for a few minutes, and settle.
4. Screen capture it.

From my findings almost all of the above was either..
Players placed a ticket for a name change, before the event started.
Those tickets were closed, and the players were emailed the instructions "The event is not open yet, please place another ticket when the event opens"
And new tickets were not opened like requested.
Or.
Players never opened a ticket in the first place, they replied to the news article instead of opening a ticket.
If anyone else has any issues with requesting a name change during this event that has not been done.
Please open a new ticket to support and explain the situation, IE what you did and when, and they will try to get the problem fixed for you.

2. Arty is just plain retarded.... F-16 2000 pound LGB's all over the map.... shoots you right when the suicidal scout maps you -- BAM half health or dead.. then you sit out for the rest of the game... or you set up your TD in a nice spot and try and snipe somebody and actually do your job.. NOPE.. you fire once---> BAM arty.. kills you.. tracks you.. takes you to half health..or one shots you.,,,, or this is the best----> you are actually having a REALLY nice match lots of great fun going back and forth... both sides trying to maneuver and flank while trying to use their tanks to the full potential then arty BAM kills you... I want to play WW2 era tanks where you have to use tactics, maneuver, and cunning to win.. arty actually KILLS any decent amount of fast tactics that this game should be all about... the name "WOT" is actually an oxymoron. Arty messes up the whole game flow of small unit combat tactics (on a game design such as WOT). 90% of the people that I talk to and privately poll would jump for joy if arty was revamped or taken out AND, I know how to deal with arty and counter it with my armor as best I can... so you can spare me the "you just get owned you are a cry baby" type of flames... because I am not talking about just me here.. I am standing up for the community as a whole.
Now you will say "well arty is suppose to make you move and think and it is suppose to weed out all the "campers".. " I have never seen a game where arty is needed to make it more interesting and balanced. We have flag caps, scouts, and small enough maps to complete any game needed to complete for a win.... the few games that arty was "needed" there have been thousands where it has been an interference.
3. TD role and lack of game mechanics to suit TD's. The spotting of and camo of TD's (more so the larger ones like the JT) needs to be revamped.... How am I suppose to be a TD when after any shot basically I get the arty storm from hell making me move therefore forcing me to show myself to every enemy armor on the map? isnt that mechanic countering the whole role of being a TD? ..... there are too many counters to the upper tier TD's.. aka arty.. aka fast hard hitting Russian armor.. other TD's. They need to make TD's unable to be targeted by arty if they are going to keep arty or TD's in the game... the TD's are not a camp and kill piece of armor, you have to be careful and if you camp or try and get greedy it will be death for sure when the heavies or the 54's come and eat you like a pack of lions. The JT is slow.. weak sides... and if any medium aka T54 or heavy gets near it and close enough to where I have to use my slow rotation, I am dead.. so I have plenty of negative counters to counter me... thats why you throw being spotted by arty and gibbed everytime I fire into the mix, it just gets plain retarded.
4. the JT armor model needs to be looked at.... its VERY soft from the front... there is no reason not to play the Obj 704 at this point... the JT has a buggy and brittle front end that gets punched way way too hard at the moment... the front should pretty much block any but the most best guns and shots in the game if its going to be a slow moving, slow rotating machine as we move away from the 2000 # laser guided bombs rolling in all over our area... at least with the 704, you can run for your life before you get picked off when the F-16's roll over head with their laser designator pod watching you from 30,000 feet waiting to gib you (AKA arty).

evidence into WoT support. Making accusations is a very slippery
slope without evidence to back it up. I ask that ALL clans report
anything they may feel is a "enhancement" to support and make sure

limitation. Moreover repair kit is considered to be universal and
can be used for any vehicle (load/unload).
2. I'm pretty sure this has been covered multiple times.
3. I do see a note of sarcasm here. One regular repair kit is considered to be enough gameplay-wise.
