this probably will happen in 7.0 but it happened to me while playing the 7.1 test server.
So it would be good to get rid of this bug for the 7.1 update

Tanitha: Hello Giga,
Would you have or can get a screenshot please?
Thanks.

Tanitha: The NA servers is a better choice for Oceania players for many reasons.
The NA server has the same culture, same language, Oceania time-zone support for most tournaments and events. etc..
My ping to the NA server is less than the ping to the Euro servers too.

There was mention that you have the ability to make further configuration changes, but I cannot seem to find it on the v2 7.1 client. Does anybody have information about how to access that feature aside from switching it on?
As of now, the targeting reticle and dispersion indicator are still in green and do not adopt the colour that's used for marking enemy targets.
The good news is that the colour blind mod works for 7.1 and has been working since the 7.0 final release and we are still able to work around the inability for the targeting reticle and dispersion indicator to change to a more red-green blind friendly colour.

Tanitha: Thanks for the feedback, I know they had been working on it, I'll try to get some more info for you.

Subject: World of Tanks Game Discussion\Testing Grounds (7.1.2 Public Test )\Public Test 7.1.2 - DL & Patch notes.
Link on message: #1231151

Tanitha: Tankers!
The public test of version 7.1 has reached its second stage, with 7.1.2 becoming available today for testing. We've also moved the public test server to North America based on your feedback. This should hopefully provide a smoother gameplay experience for you when helping to test out all of the new content and balance changes.
Please remember that the public test server is subject to the EULA and general rules of World of Tanks. The restrictions and punishments are the same as on the official game servers of World of Tanks. Please post all 7.1 related feedback here and bugs here.
Public Test Participation
To participate in the 7.1 public test, you must download the 7.1 public test patch. It is recommended you create a new World of Tanks installation for the public test. For help with your installation, visit this thread.
1. Copy the current World of Tanks folder (must be updated with 7.0) to another place for running the test OR create a new World of Tanks installation for the public test.
2. Download the test #1 update of 7.1 here (209 Mb) and install it over the copied/new installation.
3. Download the test #2 update 7.1 (239 Mb) from here and install it over test #1 of update.
Your World of Tanks account must have been created on or before November 15, 2011 to be eligible for participation in this version of the public test.
Note: The English language localization is currently being tested and will be made available at a later time. For a temporary solution, please visit this thread.
While playing, please also keep in mind that:
Payments are not accepted on the public test server.Credit and experience rates for public test server are multiplied 10 times. All players are given 15k gold for testing purposes.Progress won't be transferred to the main NA server.

How does Experience work?
arrow
26.12.2011 08:07:56

Subject: New Players\Newcomers' Forum\How does Experience work?
Link on message: #1231100

Quote I am fairly new with this game and I enjoy it. Mostly I enjoy playing on the lower tiers with a light tank, such as the Leichtraktor or Level 2 premium German Panzer (I forget the lettering and numbers after it).
My question is this: Does experience gained differ from the low to the high tiers?
Here is an illustration/example of what I mean.
I am a Tier 2 tank and destroy (3) Tier 1 tanks and my team is victorious at the end of battle. I will probably be awarded between 500-1500 experience... (I hope this is a close estimate)
Now advance the scenario to this.
I am a Tier 5 tank and destroy (3) Tier 4 tanks and my team is victorious at the end of battle. Do I gain more experience than the previous scenario?
If that scenario is advanced to level 8 and above, does the experience (further) increase?

Tanitha: Exp is calculated by many things. "Some" of those main things are the damage you do and your level compared to the enemies level.
At tier 1, you are guaranteed to be damaging tanks at your level or above, but you are also limited by how much damage your gun can do.
So it basically comes down to your tanks ability to shoot and damage tanks above its tier, and do as much damage as possible. The sweet spot for this is usually T4-5.
Spotting for a tank splits the exp for the spotter and the damager. So playing from a forward position often leads to more exp.
Welcome, and have fun with the game.

View Postsocomseal, on Dec 23 2011 - 05:13, said: I just read this interview, which is an interesting interview by the way http://www.rockpaper...anes-explained/
But I would like to highlight something from it. "our development center in Minsk that has more than 350 employees working on World of Tanks".
If that is so, then I do believe they are bound to have quite a few coders. With a development team that large, its hard to believe that they don't have a few coders to spare to create the exchanging script for the T34 to M103. This leads me to believe that either, the developers don't care, or, they have ineffective management.

GeneralDirection: The majority of those 350 people are community, support, marketing, PR and other management -- most notably support and community. The development team itself is rather small, as is the case with most game studios. Adding additional support improves the rate at which support tickets get answered. Adding more programmers or designers does not necessarily improve the rate at which a feature is developed.

Subject: I like Object-212 better than 261
Link on message: #1226846

Hypnotik: Actually, the 261 does more damage per minute(DPM) which most of the time is more important than single shot damage. The 212 is 3515 DPM where the 261 gets 3927. It also has a much faster shell speed, which is great for countering with the tracers back in now. It's also 25% more accurate than the 212 (meaning less splashes and more solid hits = more damage done), and it closes in the circle faster. Once you get it upgraded, you'll see how great the 261 really is mobility-wise.

The 261 is literally better than the 212 in every way.

However they are going to likely need a credit earning increase to make up for the fact that they are going to be put into more matches where they can't damage many of the enemy. It would be pretty shitty on Wargamings part of they inadvertantly nerf the credit earning while trying to balance the tank on the MM, especialy since alot of us payed cold hard cash for the credit earning potential.

Tanitha: Credits are paid based on the level of your tank, and the tank you are damaging.
Damaging tanks of a higher level, has the potential of earning more EXP and credits than before.
It will probably be a mixture of both, some players that sit back and snipe at the front of tanks, will probably get more bounces on the higher tier tanks, and less exp / credits.
Players who flank and shoot tanks in the sides and rear wont have much trouble shooting the larger tanks in soft spots and earn a lot more exp and credits doing so.
Yes exp and credits will probably be up or down, But depending on the players play style.
Bigger tanks provides the potential for more credit earning.

One of the best ways to test the French tanks, would be to play them against all the other nations to see how they compare.

Then a new 7.1 update comes out, its likely but not definite that it will revert back to the original database (15th November).

The present will go to everyone, the way of receipt will be explained later.

How about giving it it's historical engine? Ford GAA
How about giving it it's historical turret traverse speed? 24*/sec
How about giving it it's historical track-traverse speed? Same as Sherman
How about giving it it's historical gun depression? +20*/-10*
Nobody cares about the name. 90mm GMC M36 works fine. The above, however, does not.
Seriously the thought of changing the name while it has so many other glaring inaccuracies is insulting.

GeneralDirection: None of those are things that a poll's results would change. Those are all balance changes, not modifying a text entry.
