We'll have more details about this shortly, but suffice to say the
Patton and Maus will be more enjoyable to play, for example.

Justin_Ward, on Mar 06 2012 - 11:45, said: It seems I either posted in the wrong location or my posts got
removed. There seems to be a confusion on exactly how many may
participate during a battle. I have heard from a few people that it
was stated that you can bring 5 or less pilots and some have said
that a mod has replied to previous questions that you can even
bring in your reserves if you so choose. The challenge rules state
that its 5v5 and that if you cannot make 5 people that you can
bring less. What is there to stop teams from bringing less or more
as long as they stay in the tier limits. Originally I was thinking
of a 4 man load out since the first posts of this tourny did not
mention pilot requirements like the previous ones did. Now this
does not follow the rules of 5v5. Please tell me how this will be
enforced if at all.

1. M1Sabo: Maus
Oh why did they name you after something so small?
After something that hides in a hole in the wall,
A minuscule rodent which is looked at as prey,
When a tiger would retreat from your one-twenty-eight,
Why did they name you after something so quick?
When you move like a turtle that’s weakened and sick,
When your armor protects you from your opponents so well,
Like a turtle who retreats to the safety of shell,
Oh why did they name you for something like that?
When your makers named so many cousins for cats,
Surely you must never feel any such shame,
When big cats must tremble at the sound of your name.
2. Smacky: Type 59
The Flight of the 59
Logging into tanks to get my doubles for the day
I just got past the loading screen now its time to play
The clan chat is blinking but I just don’t care
I click on battle to bring my favorite tank there
Glistening in the sunlight of a map called abbey
My type fifty nine is looking quite shabby.
Its got a log on the back and is really quite small
but when I’m behind the wheel I can do it all.
Some guy says “wallet warrior OH EM GEE”
“We’ll see” I think as I drive toward J three
My tank is so fast and my crew is too nice
But my tactics are what really throws in the spice.
I finally get a contact on my display.
A small tank, easy kill, its my lucky day.
closing in fast, I see it turn to attack.
Who knew a M3Lee could blow my ammo rack...
Ragequit.

3. drshabink: PzKpfw VI Tiger
A yawn, a sigh, a stifled cough
“Just when do you suppose we’ll be off?”
A stern glance and silence, the guns at attention
Discomfort, confusion, apprehension…
A tree, a shop, a cobblestone run
Twelve men, a singing birds, and an anti-tank gun
Long summer days grow complacence
For some, for others impatience…
A bird, three more, then dozens take flight!
Ammunition readied and loaded for a fight!
The afternoon’s peace broken unexpected
Without warning a lazy peace dissected.
A grumble, a pounding, a roaring bellow
Each with perplexity, regarding their fellow
Rooftop sentry shouts, his voice in fright
“Tigers, Tigers to the right!”
A flash, a burst, a shower of rubble
“Retreat to the hill, on the double”
The old café no longer a sanctuary
They scramble to their hopeless artillery
A groan, a scream, a curse in vain
sixty-two tons of unstoppable pain
“Run, hide, take some cover!”
The hopeless announcement from one to the other
Another flash, a second burst, a face-full of soil
Two diesels grumble to the smell of oil
No safety, no cover, no respite
From the Panzer Tiger’s terrible bite
“AT’s ineffective, we can’t pierce that armor!”
That sinking feeling, “My God, It’s all over…”
No cover too sturdy, no distance too great
for 88 millimeters to deliver your fate.
4. Henrici: M4A3E8 Sherman
e8, my Easy 8, always trying to outwit fate,
Though with this ride I’m never late,
Turning and churning from here to there,
Making red heavies pull out their hair.
Lightning quick, a real go-getter,
Spotting bad guys, the more is the better!
I turn on a dime and pull a zig-zag,
But watch that ping, no time to lag.
The trusty A2, now that’s a great gun,
Bouncing shots off a Maus just for fun,
Reloads so fast, keeps targets guessing,
“What Frenchie tank is now with me messing?”
A stable of tanks, I’ve got me a few,
Each one deserves to be given its due,
But when for a good time is what I am looking,
I pick the e8 and then I am cooking!
No matter what other tanks grace my peepers,
Easy 8 will always be one of the keepers.
5. PanzerKompanie: M4 Sherman
The day is over
The battles are done
My mind drifts back
To the battles I’ve won
I think of the Hetzer
I met deep in the city
I quickly took him out
Without remorse or pity
I remember the T-34
Which almost did me in
His shells bouncing off my armor
Time and time again
Of the massive KV
Which everyone fears
I hammered him with shells
And reduced him to tears
Through all the battles
And tests I’ve taken
My old tank has survived
Battered but unshaken
It’s hull is dented
It’s paint is worn
It’s tracks are tired
Full of enemies scorn
Still, it stands ready
To serve at my whim
It’s gun sights pure
It’s mood is grim
So, bring on the enemies
Bring on the fight
My Sherman stands ready
There will be battle this night

provide. Unfortunately, no matter how much we'd like to, it's
simply not possible to accommodate everyone's work schedule. If the
majority of people are struggling with the current times, then we
will definitely reconsider game times for the next tournament, but
currently this time slot seems to be working for the majority.

however keep in mind that your team may not exceed the tier/point

The March calendar is all wrong. Today, March 3rd 2012 is a Saturday not a Friday as is indicated on the events calendar.
I believe every single event is either listed on the wrong day, or the wrong date. Might want to fix that :-)

GeneralDirection: They both stem from Latin. Meridian refers to the lines of
longitude that stretch from the North Pole to the South Pole,
whereas meridiem is used to disambiguate the use of the 12-hour

rules". And there is a slight discrepency between the 2
or at least a clarification is needed.
Quick question...the term "TEAM". Does that mean only the 5 members who are supposed to be the 5 primary or if we take 8 members total and use the 3 reserve slots...are they considered part of the "team".
This matters. Because the rules state that in the challenge only 23 total tier points can be taken "per team". Or is that supposed to be "per battle"???
It would seem that if we take 8 and use the allocation for 3 reserves then we would be forced to take MORE 4 point light tanks...since the TOTAL TEAM value cannot exceed 23.
If we were to take the minimum 5 players then we would be allowed MORE tier 6 tanks.
Do I have this right or wrong.
Also what if we take Tier 5 medium tanks like an M7 MT...does that count as 5 points to the team total?

lord_farquad: The 23 tier points means the total points you can take into a
battle "per team." So when you are entering a battle, the 5 players
that are going to play in that battle, cannot add up to more than
23 tier points.

tournament prizes. This algorithm is based on number of
participants, how often the event occurs, etc.
At the moment the Ante Meridian tournaments have not passed the minimum number of participants required to increase the prize pool, while the Post Meridian tournaments have passed this marker. Once the Ante Meridian participant numbers pass the minimum, the prize pools will begin to increase accordingly.
I hope that helps answer your questionhttp://forum.worldoftanks.com/public/style_emoticons/default/Smile_honoring.gif
