GeneralDirection:
I agree that the crew experience rate bonuses are awesome, but if we did it all the time then it wouldn't be a special event. :) We have another coming though, don't worry!

Gaea: Guys, just to make one thing clear - if someone changes their name, it makes no different for us in the logs, everything here is tracked by email. So for example, bots would not be able to get out of the system by changing their name.
Also, we see this more as a one shot thing, I know I've made mistakes in creating my in game names, and would have appreciated in other games having this option available to me as a one shot chance. Also, to be honest, I know of very, very, few games that offer this service at no cost.

Mugsy_: Hello everyone,
Due to the number of tank companies we ran, it will take us a little more time than usual to send out the gold for those who won, lost, and fought beside us. You definitely will receive your gold but it will likely be sent out next week, rather than this week.
I apologize for the delay, thank you again to everyone who participated.

Did you play WoT before you got a job at WG or was it the other way around?

GeneralDirection: For me personally, the job first; I was brought on due to my experience in the industry and community management. For some on the team, the game first (like lord_farquad--he had 7k+ battles and was extremely active in clan wars before being brought on).
Where I worked previously, I didn't really have a chance to play more than a single game, because my job relied on knowing that game more than every other person that played it.
I guess it's the same thing here, but that's not as easy when I need to know about tanks, planes and ships. ;)

You still plan on quizzes, but not this month.
You have not responded to my post about a certain player who answered before the five 'winners' being snubbed.

GeneralDirection: We actually have one planned this month, it was simply missed on the events calendar. I'll make sure it gets added. It's going to happen somewhere around the 23rd.

so "reply" means "retweet"?
