Mugsy_: Hey Kona, I believe they've had the eastern portion of the NA map for some time.
Their immense clan wars population warranted additional provinces to battle over.

1 - Is this adding North America or migrating us across?
2 - If it is a migration when will Europe be turned off?

GeneralDirection: Europe will be turned off tomorrow morning. It will be wiped during the downtime to allow all clans to participate in the first migration event. Once the map is up, Europe will no longer be available; the action will shift to North America along with this event.
We're working on a preview of the event; we'll hopefully have that done and all the details ready to go tomorrow.

Gaea: You will get all the details about this tomorrow - but, the NA map is a replacement, not an addition to the EU map.
MoP is writing up a fully detailed article about this for tomorrow - be patient :)

Starne, on Jan 16 2013 - 19:50, said: GD, how recently did the new techniques/technology that let's you do this kind of "automated" contest come down the pipe? Was it something that you guys got rather recently, and the timing was just perfect, or was it something you guys have had for a couple months, and you were waiting for a good chance to put it through it's paces?
Is it safe to say that if a player can manage 1st class and Ace class Mastery Badges on a relatively consistent basis, they stand a pretty good chance?

GeneralDirection: Very recently. It's been in the development pipeline for quite a while now (it was inspired by the all star events), and just passed through testing about two weeks ago.
If you can score an Ace badge pretty reliably, you should have a good chance in this. Ace badges aren't given out too often, so 1st class probably has a good chance too. Ultimately it all depends on the number of each tank playing during the event.

Mercava, on Jan 16 2013 - 19:51, said: I would like to know aswell

GeneralDirection: Unfortunately we don't have a leader board UI for this. It's a behind-the-scenes data query at the moment. It's an idea to request for the future, but could take some time to develop.
