Saffr0n: Hey Tankers!   New common test for 9.10 Physics is coming out today. Want to test out the e-brakes to do some killer power slides and donuts? Maybe a tumble or two or three? Download the common test HERE!   Please let us know of any issues or bugs you run into while testing. Screenshots and perhaps a replay, if possible, will be the most beneficial. The more detailed the report the better it will help us to identify potential problems.   As a reminder: if you've changed your password between now and August 8th then your Common Test password will be the older password.   Let us know what you find and see you on the Battlefield!

Please post your feedback on this version of the common test here in this thread.    Patch notes:   Rocking the Gun:   Added an experimental feature that allows the players to “rock” their vehicle’s gun while shooting, to take advantage of slightly increased gun depression/elevation angles upon forward start or braking. Soft suspension allows “rocking” the aiming circle upon forward start or braking.   Suspension Operation: • Suspension will allow the vehicle to roll over minor terrain irregularities (pits, rails, curbs) without losing speed. • Fixed situations where a vehicle could get stuck on slight terrain bumps up to 60 cm high, such as shell-holes, rails, basements of destroyed buildings, rocks, hummocks, or debris. Also, vehicles will not lose speed when rolling over a slope with one of their tracks. • If the vehicle has enough speed, it can jump over ditches, ruts, etc. • Added temporary change to gun depression upon sudden forward start and braking. This change is experimental.  The change in gun depression is caused by a slight decline of the vehicle hull when engaging suspension at the moment of forward start or braking.   Improvements to Vehicle Controllability on the Move: • Decreased the loss of speed upon turning a moving vehicle. • Turns will become smoother. • Improved control over turn radius—now it will be easier to turn the vehicle by a required number of degrees. To control the turn radius, press or release the "W" button while holding down a direction button ("A" or "D" for left and right turn respectively).  At the same time, if you release the "W" button, the vehicle will sharply decrease its turn radius without a significant loss of speed, and it will be possible to continue the turn by holding down "W" again.  This can be used to effectively flank enemy heavy tanks.   New Vehicle Maneuvers Using the Handbrake: • When reaching the required speed, a turn with the use of the handbrake will result in a sharp change in movement trajectory ("police turn" ) To perform a police turn, block one of the tracks. To initiate a turn, hold down either W+A (for left turn) or W+D (for right turn), then press the Space bar.   Vehicle Interaction upon Collisions • The new physics will add the ability to overturn an enemy vehicle upon collision if its hull is slightly elevated or the vehicle is standing down a slope. A number of additional factors influence this ability, such as the difference in vehicle weights, vehicle engine power, angle of attack, traction, etc. An overturned vehicle will be destroyed after 30 s. If a vehicle is laying on its side or roof, it can be easily turned over onto its tracks again with the help from another vehicle. • An enemy vehicle can now be pushed off a vertical surface, such as a bridge or mountain. That vehicle can also get overturned as the result of the fall.     Interaction with Surface • Added the graphical effect of skidding.   Other Changes: • Changed the behavior of vehicles and how their weight is perceived by the player. • Vehicles can roll over visibly surmountable objects on the map.

Saffr0n: Hello Tankers,   The following rental vehicles can be earned for use in domination mode:   ( R ) IS-7 ( R ) T-62A ( R ) AMX 50B   More information how to earn these vehicles can be found here   Once you change to Rampage Mode you need to select at least one Tier 10 vehicle (i.e. the rental vehicle) and two other tanks that are at least Tier 8 or higher. This is why you are seeing the "group not ready" notification.   Let us know if you need anymore clarification.   Tank on!

veganzombiez:   Any relationship a Spotlight candidate has with another clan does not matter.  I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned PLSGO, or even hinted at them during discussions with MAHOU's commander.   I'm not really sure that asking a friend of a WGA employee about Clan Spotlights is a good way to get information about a particular clan's Spotlight candidacy, because how many degrees is the friend from that employee, and how many degrees is that employee from me/Hyp and the decision-making process?  Any actual discussion will be between the clan commander and me/Hyp.

Disputes may only be filed by the team captain or any team member listed under team’s contact details.   Disputes must include the following in the body of the email or risk having the dispute dropped by tournament administration: In-game name of the player submitting the dispute Date of the Stand-To Your team’s name with a link to your team’s page created for you during registration Your opponent’s team name and a link to your opponent’s team page created during registration Reason for dispute: e.g. “I would like to report the team for using a tank that was not allowed, the StuG III.” An attached replay of the disputed battle(s)   Additional notes: Opposing team captains will be alerted of the dispute by forum PM after the dispute is processed. Captains are responsible for monitoring their PM inbox. Three upheld disputes during a group stage reverses all scores from the offending team for that round. Publicizing disputes prior to resolution is subject to penalties at tournament admin's discretion, not limited to: Disregarding the dispute Immediate team disqualification Removal of offending player from the event

GhostPrime: Tankers!  Beginning tomorrow, we will be rolling out a new common test to test the new Physics Engine for world of Tanks!We will update this thread when the CT version is ready to download.  Here is a Preview of the Patch note, so you know what to expect. Suspension Operation:• Suspension will allow the vehicle to roll over minor terrain irregularities (pits, rails, curbs) without losing speed.• Fixed situations where a vehicle could get stuck on slight terrain bumps up to 60 cm high, such as shell-holes, rails, basements of destroyed buildings, rocks, hummocks, or debris. Also, vehicles will not lose speed when rolling over a slope with one of their tracks.• If the vehicle has enough speed, it can jump over ditches, ruts, etc.• Added temporary change to gun depression upon sudden forward start and braking. This change is experimental.  The change in gun depression is caused by a slight decline of the vehicle hull when engaging suspension at the moment of forward start or braking. Improvements to Vehicle Controllability on the Move:• Decreased the loss of speed upon turning a moving vehicle.• Turns will become smoother.• Improved control over turn radius—now it will be easier to turn the vehicle by a required number of degrees. To control the turn radius, press or release the "W" button while holding down a direction button ("A" or "D" for left and right turn respectively).  At the same time, if you release the "W" button, the vehicle will sharply decrease its turn radius without a significant loss of speed, and it will be possible to continue the turn by holding down "W" again.  This can be used to effectively flank enemy heavy tanks. New Vehicle Maneuvers Using the Handbrake:• When reaching the required speed, a turn with the use of the handbrake will result in a sharp change in movement trajectory ("police turn"). To perform a police turn, block one of the tracks. To initiate a turn, hold down either W+A (for left turn) or W+D (for right turn), then press the Space bar. Vehicle Interaction upon Collisions• The new physics will add the ability to overturn an enemy vehicle upon collision if its hull is slightly elevated or the vehicle is standing down a slope. A number of additional factors influence this ability, such as the difference in vehicle weights, vehicle engine power, angle of attack, traction, etc.An overturned vehicle will be destroyed after 30 s. If a vehicle is laying on its side or roof, it can be easily turned over onto its tracks again with the help from another vehicle.• An enemy vehicle can now be pushed off a vertical surface, such as a bridge or mountain. That vehicle can also get overturned as the result of the fall.  Interaction with Surface• Added the graphical effect of skidding. Other Changes: • Changed the behavior of vehicles and how their weight is perceived by the player.• Vehicles can roll over visibly surmountable objects on the map.

Looking forward to the MRCA spotlight on July 4th.  They seem to love new players nearly as much as CABRA.  And clearly MRCA is a great representative of the United States of America which is why they took that name.  Assuming, of course, that they don't let anybody in who's not American.   You definitely should encourage that kind of thing.

GeneralDirection:   Brazil is a new market focus for us right now. Obviously it's not a new country and anyone was able to sign up, but we hadn't been advertising heavily there until recently.
