GhostPrime:   I don't think an overclock is needed at this point. The i5 CPUs are pretty fast. You really don't need anything too much faster. Maybe in a year or so. i5 CPUs are great for gaming, and general computing.   

GhostPrime: The PC you have selected looks good. Do you have a good case, and cooling solution?

The_Chieftain:   I recommend the use of NATO Black.   Has someone actually reported those anime image spams? I found that they had been 'disappeared' by someone. I can't imagine a mod just randomly dropped by.   That said, Collimatrix, if there's a point to these images, get to it please. One or two is enough.

GhostPrime:   December is the Final Wargaming's Own. It may return in some form in the future, but for now December is the last.  The Leader-boards are currently up on the portal for the month of December, and we will be paying out the winners for the month, and soon we will be tallying up the overall winners of Wargaming's Own.

For the Tiger Hunt event we tried something new by using Mission completions as entries into a drawing for a brand new, never seen on our server tank! Setting up the backend and the holidays caused a delay by a couple days but everything is working perfectly now.  
We have the winners for each day and will be announcing them shortly.
Initially, we planned on awarding a single Ripper Patton each day, but since we had to delay announcing the winners we will double the number of tanks being prized out each day!    Make sure to complete the mission every day, until January 22nd, to be eligible to win one of the two daily Ripper Patton prizes!

The_Chieftain:   I assure you, this is not the case. Those dual-purpose 4"-5" guns can shoot quite a ways... DD AA should be 'off' by default as soon as the game starts, and only turned on when detected and necessary.

The_Chieftain:   If it's a consolation, neither do I. I almost never play lights, and I don't have many arties on my current to-do list either.   DerViktim, you might want to hit 'p' on a DD. It turns off your AA guns, so you don't get lit up by those cruiser-launched aircraft as often. Also, I don't know if you were deliberately hip-shooting or not, but if you put the target ship in the middle of your screen and hit 'x', it'll 'designate' the ship as the target and put up the torpedo lead indicator.   It's a matter of preference, but I'm not a fan of lobbing all the torps down the same lead indicator line. At higher tiers, opponents are less likely to drive straight and happy. If they do, then, yes, you get results similar of multiple impacts, but I like to spread them out a bit.   Not that I'm disparaging your game at all. You've obviously figured out your spotting distance from enemy ships, giving you the shortest torpedo launch while remaining invisible.
