GhostPrime: Hello Tankers,    We would like to let you know that there is an update to this article link in the Original news Post.    As of right now, the two maps being reworked are Kharkov and Stalingrad, which are the top two maps from the poll.  Instead of removing them from play, they have a decreased likelihood of appearing in your normal gameplay rotation.    Highway, Malinovka, and Serene Coast are currently not being reworked. We know this caused concern (especially about Malinovka!) This generated a LOT of great comments which have been passed on to the development team for future consideration.     We will continue to evaluate play on all maps on a regular basis, and are committed to listening to your feedback at all times.  

The_Chieftain:   As I understand it, Shtora doesn't do anything to the guidance, it does something to the tracker. There is a flare in the back of most wire-guided missiles that the system uses to figure out where the missile is in relation to the sight picture, and it then sends a signal down the wire to correct it. Shtora overwhelms the 'seeker' in the guidance system that is looking for the flare by sending all sorts of flare signals back at it, making it impossible to distinguish the flare from the background noise. Thus the missile may wild.

dance210:   Because of reasons (mostly the fact that I'm flying home and can't schedule battles), teams are limited to eight per bracket anyways. So there is only a Quarterfinal, Semifinal and Final, all at 19:00 PT.

dance210: Haha no. The timing ended up working out that the new system is going online right after the WGLNA Gold League Finals this weekend. We have some cool stuff planned for the end of next week (and maybe even over the weekend!) to tide people over until the regular tournaments come back
