dance210: It can be very discouraging to have an amazing game that ends in a loss or a draw. Most of the time for me, it's more important how I did than how the battle ended. I've had some amazing games that were a loss and I felt great after it was over. I've also had some games that we won where I did absolutely nothing - I generally find those games more discouraging. My best advice after the battle is over is to evaluate how you did. If you had an awesome game that you didn't win, try to shake it off. You can't always carry your team to victory, but you can be proud of the work you put in. Good luck!

Quemapueblos: That's a great GIF and I must third platoons. It really helps when you can coordinate with a few other tankers to root out tank is hard positions. Ask questions of better players is also key. I learned most of the good tips and tricks from battle buddies with way more experience. Of course, I don't consider myself a great tanker. It took me at least 2,000 to realize I shouldn't be in the wide open field most of the time...

Quemapueblos: Heyo, I know how frustrating that can be! Is it occurring only when a system resource, like ram or CPU usage, is maxed? Here's a few suggestions: Do you have a electrical power meter? If so try checking the output pins on your power supply to see if that voltage is sufficient Check wall power to sufficient and wired correctly with a wall outlet tester Use one of the many Temp, CPU, GPU, or memory load monitoring tools out there - check if anything is getting pinned to the max constantly when the issue starts. if there are any that are stuck to max, that's probably part of the issue Check voltages for memory and CPU are correct in your Bios - I had some ram run fine below min voltage spec before which really confused me because all the other sticks failed, RMA the "faulty" ones just to realized I needed a small bump to the correct voltages and fixed all my crashes Was it a fresh install or copied from an old drive? If not, try a clean install Check for Mobo drivers, there could be a separate install for some of the updated drivers

Everyone who was on my friends list has been deleted. My clan mates are experiencing the same problem. No mods are installed whatsoever. And yes, I am submitting a ticket. EDIT2: Also, every last bit of my chat history with any person has also been deleted... Not that it affects me particularly, but it does exist.

dance210: Good morning guys! There was maintenance done to the XMPPCS this morning - which affects in-game chat. There is a possibility that this maintenance has affected the friends list, temporarily removing it. I'm going to keep an eye on it on my end and report it as well. Again, I'm hoping this is a temporary side effect of the maintenance and it will resolve itself soon. If it doesn't, once I get into the office I will escalate it further. Apologies guys!

Quemapueblos: If you are in-game, press the Print Screen button and the screenshot will be saved to your WoT Screenshots folder. Screenshots will show up in the Root folder, for example: C:\Program Files\World_of_Tanks\screenshots The screenshots will be saved as a jpg format and will be named shot_001.jpg, shot_002.jpg etc. On most notebooks you will need to press FN + PrtScr or some modifier key to actually take a screenshot

Quemapueblos: Hi Sarge, we might be able to help you a bit quicker if you can send in a support ticket and get the folks who really know they are talking about but here are my few suggestions to check as a non support guy: Check if you are running the Exe in admin mode Check if your firewall and anti-virus setting changed and add both WorldOfTanks.exe and WOTLauncher.exe Check Router settings - maybe some settings in your router was reset or changes You may have to open some ports in order for the games to properly function All destination UDP ports: 20013, 20014, 20018, 32801-32825 TCP game ports: 80, 443, 1080, 3128, 8080, 8081, 8088, 8888, 53, 20000-25000, 32801, and 32803 UDP voice chat ports: 12000-29999, 5060, 5062, 3478, 3479 Run ping plotter to see where the connect is failing There is a support article on the topic that has more details. If those don't work I'd recommend contacting support directly.
