Quemapueblos:
Today we have some new info to
share from the ST: to the testing goes new German premium heavy
tank of Tier VIII VK 168.02 (P). This super heavy tank with
impressive armor will be tested in two versions: 15 cm gun - this
version of the tank will have high alpha-damage, but lower mobility
12.8 cm gun – this version of VK 168.02 (P) will be more
maneuverable with better aiming parameters Based on test results,
we will determine the final version of the armament for this tank.
By the gameplay, regardless of the chosen gun, it will be a
perfectly armored tank, meant for pushing directions or deterring
opponent’s attacks.
Historical background: in the summer of 1942 Porsche company received an order for development of a breakthrough tank with the greatest possible armor and armament horsepower. VK 168.02 (P) became an evolvement of Typ 205 Mäuschen draft project. The main difference was the front location of the turret. The project didn’t go beyond the sketches.

http://forum.worldof..._st__20#topmostSaffr0n: We had to tell Myth Busters to stop taping a show about the
tall tale that is Grand Battles. Seriously though, we identified an
issue with the setup of Grand Battles at launch. This morning,
there was an unannounced micropatch, which addressed this very
issue. The probability of getting into a Grand Battle was increased
for the server to get more battles up and running. We'll be
monitoring the Grand Battles count throughout the weekend. If it's
still not occurring at a reasonable statistic, there will be more
micropatches to increase it further. Hope that
addresses your question. Cheers!

The_Chieftain: Higher powers than I are debating it around the office. I'm
sure an official statement will be made on the Go/No-Go decision.
We are doing something else with local charities, I believe.
Yes, the optics are an issue. But I hope we go. Personally, I can
find arguments in favour. In a month's time, the big problem is
going to be that because the economy in the area is hard-hit,
workers and businesses will be struggling. One can focus now on the
aid charities, but Katrina showed that the big problem in
subsequent couple of months was really companies going out of
business either because of a lack of demand for their services, or
simply because the place of business had to be condemned. Where do
guys get the money to pay their mortgages, which haven't gone
away? So if we do an event in Corpus Christi, would we be
keeping, say, a local food vendor or table rental company
afloat? How about hotels? Would Lexington like the help, maybe to
repair storm damage to the ship? And would folks in the area
appreciate the diversion after a month of rebuilding by having
something fun to do? In other words, is our concern about appearing
sensitive actually going to cause less good than going? Not that
simple a decision.

Crimson_Saber, on Sep 01 2017 - 20:04, said: Still seeing 3 arties in a matchup, and I quote: Improvements to
the matchmake Maximum two SPGs per team.Saffr0n: Random Battles mode did not receive additional
matchmaker conditions regarding SPGs, it was updated
for Ranked Battles mode. Ranked
Battles Added the ability to earn Marks of Excellence and Mastery
Badges in the Ranked Battle mode. Added the display of ranks of
individual vehicles in the vehicle panel when the Ranked Battle
mode is selected. Improved the interface where the received reward
for a previous stage is displayed. The information about the
received reward is also displayed in the pop-up hint when hovering
over the rank. Reworked the calendar interface in the mode.
Information about the Prime Times on each server for a selected day
is now displayed in the calendar window (previously it was
displayed in a pop-up hint). Changed the list of maps that are
available in the mode. Now, battles will be fought in the following
maps: Abbey Airfield Arctic Region El Halluf Ensk Erlenberg
Fisherman's Bay Fjords Highway Himmelsdorf Karelia Lakeville
Malinovka Mines Murovanka Paris Pilsen Prokhorovka Sand River
Serene Coast Siegfried Line Swamp Tundra Westfield Windstorm
Improvements to the matchmaker: Maximum two SPGs per team. Improved
the matchmaking by vehicle types (the matchmaker will try to
assemble similar teams). Improved the system of assembling teams by
ranks. Reworked the interface when entering the mode: added
information about servers that are available for playing; reworked
the display of information about the Prime Times. Added special
hints that explain the basic mechanics and main features of the
mode to the loading screen in Ranked Battles. Implemented a
separate option that allows configuring the loading screen in the
Ranked Battle mode and suggest three variants of the loading screen
(by analogy with the options for the Random Battles): Illustrated
tips Minimap Text only Display of Season leaders in the Ranked
Battle mode Added the event archive—statistics of players in
previous seasons can be viewed. Added the filters clanmates and
friends. Players can view the positions their clan-mates and
friends take among the Season Leaders. Improved Equipment Improved
Equipment can now be demounted only with bonds. The Extended Spare
Parts Kit is now a complex Equipment and can be demounted with
bonds. When update 9.20 is released, all Improved Equipment will be
automatically demounted for free, so players can re-mount the
pieces of Equipment to their liking. Crew Stun Mechanic Added the
time of caused stun to the Battle Results screen. Improved the
mechanics of causing damage and stun through obstacles. Now SPGs
will not cause damage through obstacles that are 2 or more meters
thick if the vehicle is fully covered by them. At the same time,
explosion wave can somewhat bend the corners of obstacles. For that
to happen, the distance between the point of hit and the obstacle's
edge should be less than 2 meters; however, in such a case the
explosion will cause decreased damage. Directives Added a visual
indication of the way that directives influence the technical
characteristics to infotips and simplified technical
characteristics. Added the function of equipping directives in the
vehicle comparison interface so that their influence is taken into
account. Added the option that enables auto-resupply of directives
in the purchase interface. The bonus from Directives that influence
the skills and perks of crew members is now displayed in Personal
File. Fixes Fixed the issue where the camera was bound to the spot
where the vehicle was destroyed instead of being bound to the
actual destroyed vehicle. Fixed the issue with full-screen settings
not saving in some cases. Fixed the issue with the display of
vehicle ranks. Fixed the issue with the Maus' underbelly armor
protection. Armor decreased from 250 mm to 50 mm. Fixed the issue
with the displayed maximum number of shells in the Consumables
window for the 75 mm SA49 gun. Fixed the issue where vehicles not
suitable for personal missions were still shown as available. Fixed
the issue where a permanent rank could be displayed as
non-permanent. Improvements Improved the layout of notes in the
Contact list. Added information about the acquired vehicle rank
when viewing players' Service Records. Added a filter by range for
the Team Battle mode. Known Issues (will be fixed later) When a
vehicle is destroyed by overturning after 30 seconds has passed
since it was overturned, the player who overturned the vehicle does
not receive credit for the vehicle's destruction. Concealment of a
vehicle with unique Camouflage is displayed without the bonus for
Camouflage in the Garage; however, in reality, the effect of
Camouflage is active. The recruiter's Recruiting Office does not
display the recruits and reservists that they invited, if the
recruiter's account is restored to a state, preceding the moment
when recruits accepted the invitation. The camera can suddenly
change its position in trajectory view when the player quickly
moves the cursor around the vehicle. The order of events for
received damage is sometimes mixed up in the damage log. Technical
text may display for vehicles destroyed by overturning in the
Battle Results screen. The badge about base capture can be
displayed prematurely, even before the indicated number of points
has been accumulated.

Saffr0n: Look at the traceroute as a whole rather than separating the
trace into individual hops. The fluctuations you see at
68.85.245.201 are the same as the fluctuations in hops 2
and 3 ( all of which are within your ISP's network). Any affect
resulting from your ISP will go down the trace and be
problematic. The Level 3 hops are configured to mitigate
unnecessary packets and prioritize the necessary ones, which is why
many people may notice PL on Level 3/Telia/Cogent hops -- and
attribute this observation to server lag or major packet loss that
causes rubberbanding, which is incorrect. In this trace, you should
also notice that at the last hop, which is the server, the latency
stabilizes. This would confirm that this isn't a server issue, but
there's a fault somewhere within Comcast's routing. Unfortunately,
we have no control over how your ISP chooses the pathway to the
server, we can only control routing from Level 3/Telia/Cogent
intermediary hops.

successfully without issue. you're saying that you reloaded the
client without mods, which means that you have/had mods
installed and were running into problems. Don't rely

Try scrubbing the mod out of the directory and checking to see

Saffr0n: I see fluctuations that can result in lag or stuttering,
which starts within your ISP's network (hop 3). Compare the average
to your worst and last pings for each hop -- stable connections
fluctuate below 5%. Your fluctuations are 50% or more. Is this
server related? No. You would only see the fluctuation at the last
server side hops. If you're using a wireless connection, move
closer to your router. I would also perform network maintenance by
restarting all your network equipment. If that doesn't resolve it,
you'd have to ask your ISP how to stabilize the connection.

CabbageMechanic: Hey guys,
Sorry to hear that many of you haven't gotten into the 30 v 30 but it does appear to be working and they are happening. The issue appears to be a lack of the Tier X's required to be concurrently in queue to trigger a Grand Battle instance at a decent frequency. We are heading into peak times now so the next few hours will probably be your best shot, we will be passing feedback related to the lack of frequency as part of our early reports on the patch.
