DomoSapien: As a concept I believe the intended selling point of presales in
general (for us anyway) is getting access to the vehicle earlier
than the rest of the server. They don't necessarily always include
an 'extra' incentive, although personally I think it would be nice
to have some extra incentive included in the presale bundles
whenever we release them. Happy to pass your feedback on to our

tourneys we run. Currently, we do 45 seconds on a 1v1 and 60
seconds for over. The suggestion I am getting
is making it higher for over 2v2s, like this: 1v1 - 45
Seconds2v2 - 60 Seconds3v3 and up - 75 Seconds All of the
tournaments that are set will not change and before we
implement this I want to hear what you all think. GL

The_Chieftain: You mean that playing WoT hasn't taught you that it's not
the amount of damage you do which results in wins, it's how,
when and where you do that damage? I'll happily stipulate
that he's the highest-scoring tank commqander of all time. Go play
tier II in a MicroMaus, you'll get more kills, probably, than a
very good player in a Tier VIII light. Who's the more successful
player? Kill tallies for tankers are an interesting stat, but they
rely very heavily on the situation. For example, let's say that all
of Knipsels kills were of tanks only. Not SPGs, TDs, half-tracks,
or whatever. Doing a quick tally, the Soviets had about 85,000
tanks, the British about 17,000, and the Americans 53,000, some
150,000 if one counts the startpoint in late 1941 plus wartime
production. So Knipsel was responsible for the destruction of 0.11%
of the possible enemy tanks to kill. Lavarenko is credited
with 58 tank and SPG kills, they don't specify type. If you wanted
it to be of the entire German tank production for the war, that
would be 0.15%. Granted, there would have been some SPGs (But not
too many, the Germans hadn't gotten really big into the SPG
department in 1941 yet), but on the other hand, Lavarenko did that
ratio in two months while Knipsel's kills were over 4 years. Even
more so, if you look at the forces Lavarenko faced, he alone was
responsible for the destruction of a full percent of the German
tank and SPG forces which invaded the Soviet Union.
Similarly, it is estimated that some British tankers also got some
silly amounts of kills, for example, Alfie Nichols may well have
killed 40 tanks in North Africa alone (And doing some quick
reading, apparently is claimed to have killed three Tigers with
three shots from his Sherman), but the British strongly discouraged
individual kill counting, and so we can't be sure just what his
final total was. But if he did so (And the Italians only add
some 2,500 to the German total of some 43,000 tanks), then on a
ratio of kills-to-targets, there is a good argument that Nichols
was also more successful than Knipsel. Then you have the
question of local force ratios. Knipsel spent pretty much the
entire war on the Soviet Front. So some 85,000 tanks (Plus a
few thousand lend-lease). So Knipsel destroyed just shy of 0.2% of
the enemy's provided tank force. Compare that to Radley Walters or
Lafayette Pool, who scored 18 and 12 tank kills respectively in the
ETO, the Germans having, what, 2,500 tanks in total facing the
Western Allies? Let's say 3,000. That means that R-W killed 0.6% of
the enemy's provided tank force, and Pool 0.4%, three times or
twice, respectively, Knipsel's ratio. And in the cases
of Lavarenko, Nichols, R-W and Pool, their side won. So, all
of a sudden, 'success' becomes very much a matter of perspective,
as opposed to a simple kill tally which is objective.

airline pilots. Walking through the airport yesterday, I saw a
pilot who looked under 20. Good for him, though he's probably
saddled with an unGodly amount of debt, but he was a rarity
in a field where most look well into their 40s and 50s, and folks
have been warning about a looming shortage for a few years. The Air
Force feeder system is much smaller, and more pilots are going to
hit retirement. I have considered it as a backup career, as I
already have the first stage (a license for small aircraft), but
the money just isn't worth it. Have you seen how much a new
pilot gets paid?

The_Chieftain: I see no reason they can't be handled like drones
today. Operators at the start/departure point, maybe a bit
like harbor pilots, with the long bit in the middle being handled
by less responsive systems.... I did see an interesting note
about automation, which I had not considered. The autopilot needs
to be able to understand that a policeman or construction worker
standing in the intersection overrides traffic lights, and then
must be able to interpret the hand signals. It makes perfect sense,
and is an interesting challenge, apparently some companies have
already figured it out. Primarch, that 256 looks a
little out of scale compared to the rest of the vehicle, all right.

siempre. De cualquier forma, este error es algo que no podemos
corregir. Ya que preguntaste, paso a explicar: algunos mapas
"nuevos" (Pueblo Fantasma no es 100% nuevo, por eso las comillas)
no tienen todavía su imagen correspondiente cargada en el sistema
de torneos, y esto es algo que depende de quienes desarrollan el
programa (sino ya lo hubiéramos cargado nosotros), lo que explica
que la imagen no coincida con el texto que se muestra sobre ella.
El problema, más allá de ese, es que no podemos no utilizar ciertos
mapas por este problema porque nos limitaríamos los recursos a
nosotros mismos a la espera de que se solucione. TL;DR
Se juega en Pueblo Fantasma. Dejame revisar lo de los
premio con BigBrother. Cualquier actualización, la publico.

Theoretically you can still see how much XP you have left before being able to research a new tank, but that's only if you're on the last leg of your grind and having the preceding modules unlocked. If you do, you can click the 'research' button on the next tank and a pop-up will show up telling you how much XP vs Free XP you will be using.
Conversely, if you don't have free XP available I'm not sure if it's possible at all. I can promise you this, though: It's going in the feedback report as a potential bug!

If you click the gear icon on the lefthand side of the launcher, then open up the 'updates' tab, make sure that 'automatically update installed games' and 'download updates in advance' are unchecked.
As to what was wrong with the old launcher/why we've been developing WGC for a few years: The old launcher was.. well, old. It doesn't look very great because it's been more or less unchanged since 2011, but WGC also provides a few advantages to players and a few advantages for us. For players, it offers the ability to have all your Wargaming titles under one centralized launcher that automatically keeps them up to date for you. It also offers the ability to save multiple accounts to one launcher and easily hotswap between them. If there is more than one Tanks player in your home using the same device, this feature might be useful to you. I use it to switch between my main account and Sheriff account when I'm streaming.
As for the advantages it offers us: including making all of the above more convenient for you, it gives us a more robust functionality for how we serve and spotlight content/news articles, and gives us better tracking metrics for clickthrough rates and traffic being driven from the launcher to the news portal. Essentially, it gives us a better idea of how many people are being directed to various news articles via the launcher, and improve the ways we publish new information so that it's more relevant to our players.
So, in a way, you're right: But the only thing we're spying on is what articles you are clicking on via the launcher.

crew skins. We toyed with the idea of adding bonuses to emblems and
inscriptions back in Rubicon and the community was very vocal with
feedback about the potential bonuses so they were never
implemented.
The 'quality' of the crew skins will likely have to do with extra cosmetic features such as custom voiceover for your commander.

tank without a penalty. You can however move any Russian
medium crew into it without a penalty and you could also train the
Rudy crew to a Russian non-premium tank and then use the crew in
the Rudy with no penalty. Works the same as any other premium
tank.

works good with that configuration because you easily get past 445
view range if you train Recon and Situational awareness on your
crew, and it is not even necessary to have those skills at 100% so
the max view range could be achieved soon.

Einzelganger7: Well, these skins are kind of meaningless because only the owner
can see them in the garage, even so I will try to use this new
feature but how can we get new crew skins anyway? I only use German
tanks and unfortunately got French and Polish crew skins.
