ARGO: I have two tanks, An IS4 "superheavy" and a VK360 "medium" and I
too do not run premium so what I have learned is that you can use
your medium to get creds to feed your heavy's expenses. Sure you
will be limited on how long you can play as a heavy but if you
cannot afford or don't want to spend the gold, it is the best way I
have found to save your gold for other things.

Since most of the game data calculations ect are done server side, hardware upgrades take some time and cash to setup. In the end it works well for us

Ok here is the scenario:
You buy a Tiger tank, You train your crew, They are maxed out.
You buy a King Tiger 2 tank, You transfer your seasoned crew over to it, They now train in that tank.
You deciede you liked your Tiger 1 better so you move your crew back into the Tiger 1
Why would they need to retrain for a tank they had been maxed out in before? I know they go down to about 80% but why? I haven't rode a bicycle in 20 years but if I jumped on one I am sure there would not be a learning curve to remember how to ride so whats up with the tank crews?

Each player pays 25 pieces of gold to get in this match
The match is played just like any other match except for one new addition; there is an automated “Boss Tank” which except for one spot on it is impervious to all enemy fire.
“There is a one in 5 match chance the boss tank will appear”
Players must find the weak point “which is randomly located with each appearance of the boss tank” and hit it 100 times to kill it.
Now if the boss tanks shoots, hits, or touches a player, that player’s tank will be immobile for 15 seconds “nothing on tank will work but player takes no damage”
If the tank is killed, every single player on the team that fired the killing shot receives 10,000 free exp. The player that fired the shot gets an award badge added to his credit; the losers get premium rate exp.
If the boss tank does not appear in the match, the match is played normally and all players receive premium credits and experience.

Now players can either work together “both sides” to win or attempt to kill each other off and risk running out of ammo before killing the boss tank.

- Reworked interface of the platoon creation.
- Adjusted speed of burning of all tanks during the fire. Now the tank will burn at about 5% of durability per second.

- Team mode added. Form a team of 15 and face the opposing one in battle.Probability of appearance - high.

I agree something needs to be done because It does take away from the game when you cannot understand what other players are saying so you can't plan and you eventually loose. A while back I was in a game and there was over 5 players spamming the chat in their native language "I will leave out what language" and although I did understand what they were saying I saw that others did not and I for one like to communicate before a match so I can be of most help so I wrote to them politely and in their tounge if they could communicate in english so we can all understand them. Well I got to look at a chat filled with english alright, And their english was excellent.....They called me a racist and told me to learn their tounge as well as a host of 4 letter explenitives regarding my family ect...Needless to say my politeness was met with low class ignorance the likes of which you cannot imagine.
I rarely look at the chat anymore and have switched to GSC.
As far as Americans, Europeans and Russians? I have found most of them to be very, very, helpful and in most cases, extremly well spoken and polite. I can totally understand and agree that ALL players have a right to play without being harassed because mabye some really can't write in english and that's ok, I would just let other players know you can't write in it or have your buddy who can do it for you so we can all help you play and work with you.
Anyway, check out my old thread about ideas for it as well and maybe we can all work together to help solve this dilemma.

ARGO: You left out a popular gripe I hear all the time ingame, Why the
German 88mm gun does not live up to it's battlefeild reputation as
the most accurate and lethal gun of the war. It was reported to
pass through tanks like a hot knife through butter, not bounce off
a A-20 at point blank range. In here, it's just another gun....that
breaks a lot.

ARGO: In some ways maybe you will hang in a fire fight a little longer
with a better tank but I will wholeheartedly reassure you that
without th skills learned on the lower tier tanks you will be
outclassed everytime. Let's look at Arty for an example, the other
night a guy asked me, "why is the arty been missing all night?" and
I said to him that maybe those arty where guys who rushed up the
ladder to heavy arty without taking the time to learn targeting on
the lower tier battles where the tanks are faster. Same goes for
the tanks. If you don't put your time in learning to adjust to each
tank your gonna get raped by smaller tanks. There are players out
there I have seen in a VK3601 who can eat heavies for breakfast in
a one on one.
