MrVic: Okay there seems to be some confusion today
The upcoming patch will not include a softwipe.
The Softwipe is planned to occur with the Server split.
The Patch will more then likely arrive prior to the Server split (aka softwipe time)
The plans for the Softwipe have not changed, There may have been some miscommunication on that part.
IF the plans change it will be posted officially and it will be done as soon as the plans are changed (I do not see any changes coming for the softwipe beyond the date it happens)
So more then likely we will see PATCH--->SERVER SPLIT/SOFT WIPE---->PROFIT
Hope that helps
Update: Should see a better run down of whats coming this week.

Link on message: #275077

Link on message: #275077
ARGO: I think the balance system is only half the factor of the game, It
is also the players and strategy too. I was in a game last night
and although looking at the our team vs the enemy team we should
have absolutly destroyed them. We had a Maus, an IS7 "The Works"
even our mediums were better. Their team had an IS7 and an IS4 for
top tanks and thier lower teirs were mediocore at best however what
they did have were two things 1. A plan 2. skills. They took our
arty out 1st, then our heavies. It was Lakeville and they faked
going through the city and rushed the valley. They were all over
our base before our team even got half way to theirs. Although we
lost I have to admit, they were magnificent.

Tanitha: There is no cheats for wot, everything is safe serverside.
However there is 1000 wild accusations, links to keyloggers and viruses, and lame ol fake youtube vids linking to keyloggers.
All this discussion about something that doesn't exist gets old.
There is no "known" cheats for wot, there is no father xmas, and there is no tooth fairy..
Sorry to break it to you.. but they are the facts.
There is a test server that runs on a different system. Some bugs in some maps where you can shoot threw walls/mountains etc.. But not cheats/hacks..

When you lopg into a forum account that is set to "beta tester" then you will see the other 80% of the forums. At the moment, you cant access much at all.

ARGO: I used a laptop for gaming for 10 years simply because at the time
I had niether room or $$ to get something better. My laptop I
actually used as a server for online gameing from 2001-2009 and it
did admirably. I now have a very nice desktop rig I built but still
have a good laptop as a back up or if I travel "Got to have my WoT
fix". Laptops have come a long long way with gaming and there are a
few really cool laptops "Alienware" out there that suppport the
king of power needed for gaming needs HOWEVER It seems like laptops
are always playing catch up with their desktop big brothers due to
the fact that you really can't upgrade them all that much. Laptops
as technology progresses will most likely replace the desktop as
the PCs of choice but only when computer manufactures make ones
that can recieve descent upgrades and grow as the consumers needs
do.

Is this a bug or intention?
MrVic: There is a few second period before the base captures, its a
buffer. Also it creates the situation if you do not inhibit or stop
an enemy team capping your base at the same time your capping
theirs, that a draw can occur from dual base caps. Otherwise you
could never generate a draw in that method when truly it was so
close it was a draw
Otherwise the odds of capping in the exact mili second is so rare that you would not see draws in that situation.
Its working as intended and adds more of a tactical choice in those last moments.

Quote In November 1942, Krupp received order to design the vehicle (waffentrager) using Tiger II components, which was to be part of the "Grille" series. It was to be able to mount 170mm Kanone 72 L/50 gun which could deliver a 68 kilogram projectile up to 25500 meters in range or a 210 mm "Mörser" (a howitzer actually) with a maximum range of 16500 meters firing a 111 kg shell. Grille 17 had its armament mounted on the rail platform inside the hull allowing it to be dismounted at any time and used independent of the actual tank itself. The maximum elevation of the main gun was 65o and its azimuth just 5o at right or left. In order to achieve the 360o fully rotation the gun and its turntable had to be placed in the ground which was folded and carried in the back of the vehicle.

MrVic: Its a Turn table for the ability to dismount the gun and act as a
fixed Artillery piece. (which would make it not a SPG at that
point) Also not something I for see adding due to it being field
artillery, but down the road ya never know.
