Subject: Winners of Miss World of Tanks NA!

LockeProposal, on Mar 28 2012 - 22:30, said: I have a question, actually. My gf just started playing WoT and is
really getting into it, but she started playing after we had
submitted our entries. It would be nice to be able to transfer some
of the gold to her account so that she can have a premium
tank/account to help her through the early grind. Is there any way
to do that? I figure that, since she's the one who actually got
third place, she should get the rewards. Of course, if I'd known
she was going to start playing, we would have sent the entries in
under her account name.

(rented, or otherwise), you dont really need the gold prize....
Cool pics -- I like 2, and I was thinking of doing somethig similar myself

GeneralDirection: Most submissions included multiple images -- many of them with the
player names in the photo. The one shown by Gaea for #5 is not the
only photo.

GeneralDirection: I can only state that we are going to release 7.2 on the NA cluster
as soon as possible. As with previous updates, we're releasing it
staggered across regions to ensure each release goes as smoothly as
possible and the clusters remain stable. That said, this is no
April Fools joke -- 7.2 is in fact coming.

RedPrince42, on Mar 27 2012 - 22:45, said: Just a quick question about intentional draws: the rules state that
a dispute can be made if a team captain suspects the other team of
forcing an intentional draw in order to prevent both teams from
advancing. That is designed for tournament play. In the league,
though, a draw is worth a point in the standings. Therefore, is an
intentional draw a tactic which may be used without risking
disqualification?
The reason I ask is that there may be situations during the season which have one team overrunning a primary position of the other, forcing the other team to play a game it can likely no longer win. But, they can still get a point in the standings if they can prevent the other team from claiming a full victory.
Thank you, in advance, for clarifying the league's position on this subject.

GeneralDirection: Yeah, that rule is only in effect for the tournament. Clearly
winning is still a better option, but we're not going to penalize
someone that tries to stay alive for a draw during the regular
season.

they have brought in for this bigger size look strong in stats.
SSGS was top 4 in Ultimate Conquest: Absolute Power. Top 16 Rhine Crossing.
7thAD was top 4 November NA Challenge.

GeneralDirection: Starry Night won the IGN tournament. While Cazadores has had
consistent finishes, the seeding in this case is intended. But as
others have said, if you look at the divisions most of them will
have 1, 2 or even 3 "top finishers" in past tournaments or top tank
company teams (yes, I has infoz).

lord_farquad: Notice that the other divisions also have multiple teams who have
at some point placed in the top 4, or major clans that are expected
to do well. We believe that the divisions are balanced as well as
is currently possible considering the number of new teams (any one
of which may be a serious competitor).

Tanitha: Hi Guys / Gals.
It would be great to get out and meet the players! But as us Australians know, there's a low population and a lot of land. So often people are a long way from each other. So is there enough interest?
As most of you know, Ive been on the Wargaming Team for the last 18 months, and am currently employed by Wargaming America and attached to the NA office in San Francisco. My job and duties change fairly often, but I'm a NA Community Manager, and lead up the Game Master Team, for NA World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and soon World of Battleships.
I live in Western Australia, out near Katanning. So I could attend a player meet, in either Perth the capital, Fremantle, Or Albany.
I thought Fremantle would suit most people the best, and it has the Army Museum there. Unfortunately most of it is closed for renovations until July though.
http://www.armymuseumwa.com.au/
If you are interested in having a little informal get together on a Saturday or Sunday let me know which city you would be available for, (Perth, Fremantle or Albany)
If you have any particular suggestion on where to hold gathering's in Western Australia, please post those suggestions below also.
The usual criteria apply:
1) It should be accessible by players under drinking age.
2) It should be quiet enough that everyone attending can hear everyone else.
Thanks
Tan.

lord_farquad: It is likely that it will function the same as previous
tournaments, however due to not having tested that particular area
of this type of tournament, I can't be 100% sure either way.
So I guess we'll know for sure after the first round.

appears to clearly define a starting side each week.
Will it really be random selection when the battles pop each week, or will we be starting on Side 1 or Side 2 according to how the teams are outlined in the schedule?

lord_farquad:
It is likely that it will function the same as previous tournaments, however due to not having tested that particular area of this type of tournament, I can't be 100% sure either way.
So I guess we'll know for sure after the first round.

Good man. Awesome to hear! Excited to get going.
Will there be a way to click on the teams in your division and have a look at their lineups/player names? You could do this with the team search before, not sure if it's still active.

GeneralDirection: If you click "show" on the battle schedule for the division you can
click the team names from there.

lord_farquad: The divisions have been posted. I apologize for the random order in
which they appear, there seems to be an issue with the tool and
there's currently no way for us to change how they appear on that
page. However, we will definitely try to get this fixed as soon as
possible.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, however keep in mind that these are the final divisions and we will not be allowing changes to divisions or teams from this point out.
