Payouts have been changed rules for contests are being amended for
a few that did not show up. If they adhered to their posts and not
change things there would not have been the need to post this. I
spent more than 200 gold on shells for a contest that was to pay
1500 instead it was changed to 200 because to many teams won "not
my fault"., and they are now amending classic season 1 for roster
changes for teams that did not show up. For the rest of us that
were there every week too bad "that sucks and is disrespectful to
those that did show up every week".

How about custom tank skins?
Zip files are notorious for malicious stuff get rid of them all to right?
Why not just delete this entire section of the forum since everything posted in it is "unofficial"?
For over a year, the Official Rules HAVE NOT BEEN ENFORCED... and now suddenly they are.
Why? Was there an outbreak of malicious code in the linked files????
This is truly a poor way to interact with the playerbase and those that support this game the most.
Instead of "deleting" the hard work please back some of it officially for the good of the COMMUNITY.
Overreacting by blanket enforcement of rules that had not been enforced is worse than no action at all.

The other things are fine in our forums as long as they don't contain executable files which could be a security risk for our player base.

Tier spread viewed as too wide, players at the bottom don't feel they can compete with those at the top.

Steeltrap, on Apr 29 2012 - 20:05, said: Can you please explain why an A-20, with a 'theoretical' view range

Oh, and I don't mean the party line of BS, i.e. "you're a scout", as it's patently obvious you are NOT a scout with that sort of view range.
I'd like a sensible explanation, especially as you MUST play it if you want a T-34, AND there ARE now dedicated 'scout' vehicles (with useful guns, I might add) for those who want to play that way. Of course the Pz38nA, a requirement for the PzIV, and the M5 Stuart, required for the M4, are the same. Indeed, why is it people who want to play THE most famous vehicles of WWII have to go through this?
Seems to be it's just damned laziness not to have addressed this absurdity for so long now.
If a dev would deign to reply and convince us otherwise, be delighted to hear it.
Cheers

GeneralDirection: Yes, this is something we're aiming to fix. I'm not going to say it
will be an across-the-board reduction in tier spread, because some
vehicles perform just fine even with their current tier spreads.
But there are tanks we're looking at to receive the same treatment
as the tier 5 heavies.

e.g. light tanks as scouts (those not part of a dedicated light

treated as scouts. We'll probably be changing that though, but it
will be on a case-by-case basis.
cfnz, on Apr 29 2012 - 00:50, said: Too many of a single vehicle on one team.GeneralDirection: We want to address this, but it's more of a challenge than you
might think since we can't necessarily tell people what vehicles
they should be playing at any given time.

tank-by-tank basis.

GeneralDirection: Well, the answer is that it's because the tank is considered a
scout tank right now. I'm sorry if you find that unacceptable, but
it's the way the MM is designed at the moment. It's why we're
rewriting the algorithm.

others to answer for you.
Any account transfer system they put up, will be a once off, one way.
So you should be downloading the client, and testing the ping yourself for your house and Internet provider / connection.
Ive not had time personally to download the SEA client and login to look at the pings.
But using ping-plotter. I currently get (wotsg1-slave-52.worldoftanks.sg [116.51.25.52])
West Australia -> NA server, 300 ping.
West Australia -> Singapore Server, ~340 ping, with packet loss.
Logging directly into the game might or might not get the same results.
Please make sure you do a thorough investigation on your ping/lag from AUS/NZ -> Singapore first.

Vallter: T110E5 may receive some changes only after we gather full
statistics on them. Most probably, changes will come in 7.4, if
any. Though some minor tweaks are possible in 7.3 also. In any
case, we will note them in update notes. Stay tuned and follow the
news!
Btw, 7.3 will be released pretty soon

lord_farquad: Actually we went through and re-scheduled all of the battles.
Currently battles that were scheduled cannot be unscheduled, but
can be re-scheduled, which is why the other battles are still
there. We will continue looking into it to try and resolve it as
soon as possible. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.

dabrownsrphat, on Apr 29 2012 - 03:03, said: OMG I have never been on a game with more people who cry about
losing than this one.
I know, hate on me, troll, or whatever, but really, is there just about always someone on a losing team (not very close game) who has to make themselves feel better by saying it is all the other people's fault? Take responsibility. If you killed 6 then you should have killed 7 or 8. If you saved 3 teammates then you should have saved 4 or 5. You can't control others, but you can control yourself. It isn't like no one here hasn't seen this. Is it just me who thinks this is a common plague?
Instead, try to constructively help those if you have a suggestion or if they made a big mistake. DO something about it instead of crying that you are some kind of victim.
People know if they messed up, they learn from mistakes, just like most of you guys who say this constantly did when you started.
It isn't like people aren't trying (unless it is obvious and that is different of course).
People may fail at a game but that doesn't mean you should fail at life and shrug off responsibility. No I in team means no I in team. TEAM wins or TEAM loses. There are always better or worse players, bad luck and good luck.
I know this won't change anything but I just had to get it out. Sorry and thanks.

ARGO: Sorry for the old thread ressurection but this subject had already
been addressed back in BETA, I too wrote about it in a comedic way
but it still happens. I called it P.U.T.T.S "Premature Upper Tank
Tier Syndrome" back then but it still holds true. Here is the link
for those who have not got a laugh from it yet. It won't stop it
from happening but it may at least give you all a good laugh when
it does...enjoy.
