CatStalker: There's a difference between having multiple accounts (alts) and event accounts. Event accounts, since they're fully unlocked and everything, are considered owned by Wargaming and they allow them to be used on occasion.

dance210: Gold is given out the same way as usual. Top 2 teams with the highest points will first and second. Ties will be decided by our draw rules.

As for special battles, I'm going to keep an eye on it on my end...everything looks right, so after this first set is done I'll see what team(s) faced each other (see if it starts with Round 2 or if Round 1 was delayed).

To answer the actual concerns, no skill based MM does not take into account composition (which is kind of why we call it "skill based" not "tier based" which is what you have in pubs). The whole assumption is that you're playing with 7/42 so tank choices are up to the individual teams, think of it as a soccer team choosing to have more forwards in their formation... this is the tactical choice you make with your tanks. Unfortunately, skill is not something we can buff for anyone.
Also, as the MM is based on a team based rating it will take significant time to function properly, because very few people have played enough team battles yet for ratings to be stable ...math is fun

Quemapueblos: You lie like a rug

pizzastorm: I highly recommend using a mouse while playing this game. Your accuracy and reaction time will improve tenfold!

You can even get a tiny wireless one if space is an issue.

pizzastorm: You don't need to know all the ins and outs of a map to be successful on it. You just have to make the best out of what is available to you.

For instance, I have done well on the new maps that have come out since I can recognize how I should play the areas that I wind up in. There are so many maps that somewhere in your past experience you will have run into a similar area, if you can apply this past experience then you will be fine.

pizzastorm: I would head to the Bat-Chat like you mentioned.  In my opinion that tank fits what you are looking for and is a blast to play.

dance210: Here is the Group in question:

1. Head-to-head: How do the teams stack up against each other?
Each team lost to each other, so it is a complete tie.
2. Head-to-head against group leader: Not applicable, as they are tied for first.
3. Opponent strength: VX9's lost to a lower ranked team compared to the other two. Which means Royal Armoured Brigade and You only enjoy once are still tied.
At this point, it went from a three-way tie to a two-way tie.
Going back through the tiebreaker rules again, You only enjoy once defeated Royal Armoured Brigade. So, You only enjoy once came in first and Royal Armoured Brigade came in second.
Does that make sense?

As for Group 3 from today's early blitz, Squeekers beat Grand Theft Tankers in the head-to-head match. Therefore, Squeekers won first place and Grand Theft Tankers came in second :)

MrVic: Ya I'm giving up on it, heavies  spot me with camo before I see them.  10.5  is far to low pen, along with aiming time that to play long range most tanks can pop out aim fire before I can aim with a good crew.  
Gun traverse is so narrow you have to tunnel vision one tank to play long range.  
Fast scouts can kill you before you get out of the cap or a simple spotting arty gets ya.
