HBFT: Tankers!   We are forming a team (a.k.a. Team "Pot Of Gold") of mostly WGA members to enter the Team Battle mode on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 17:00 (PDT) / 20:00 (EDT).   Our team will engage in battles for an hour and will have a net worth of up to 3,000 gold by nature of the ongoing event.   So, form up a team and find the roving band of "loot pinatas" as we parade around the "East" server!   Good luck and we hope to see out there! :)

We've worked with a Canadian charity (as well as charities based in Australia and New Zealand) in the past, and we definitely plan to again in the future. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes when setting something like this up, so we have to make sure everything is in place before we can commit to a specific charity (including giving them a heads up, and getting an ok back from them that they can/want to work with us).   As someone responsible for Latin America (and to an extent Canada), it's one of my goals to make sure we're doing things for all the countries we service. So while we couldn't do something for Military Month, it's definitely on our radar.   With that in mind, please feel free to leave suggestions for charities that are close to your heart. We'll take all of those suggestions into account when we put together our next list of charities to support.
