dance210:   That's strange that it won't let you send with attachments. I did a test, and it sent just fine. It is possible that there is a max size that the email will accept. If you are trying to send in all the pictures unzipped from Group Stages 1 and 2, that may be part of what the issue is.   I've had several people send in drop box links, so that's fine. I'm not actually picky about how the screenshots are sent in...as long as I can read the pictures, it works.

Hypnotik: The gold to your treasury is going to be handed out after the event finishes, since there is still time to do some of the secondary objectives and earn more prizes. I'd expect it to probably go out either Wednesday or Thursday.  

Hypnotik: You're correct, it does favor new clans, that's the plan. It's to help give them a little boost in getting started up. There is also a social media drawing done every day for clans that are up to a few months old, and then the in-game month-long missions that you can win a few pieces of equipment and lots of consumables are for everyone in any clan to take advantage of.

The_Chieftain:   Slat armor is not very effective even against old RPG-7s projectiles, modern warheads are serious danger for vehicles. Thats why it is so bulky.   Slat armor is only epxected to work against RPG-7s (It defuses the round). They need the block armour to work against everything.  

The_Chieftain:   You're looking for "The Can Openers", and "End of the M4 (75)."   The Panther/T-34 thing is dealt with by Hilary Doyle in Op Think Tank.

The_Chieftain:   I am unaware of any such policy in effect in the US-created artwork.

The_Warhawk:   I took a quick look at TM 9-726 as well as the British Handbook on the M2A4-M3A1. There only appears to be asbestos around the brakes as well as on a safety disk on the cartridge starter for the Diesel powered versions of the tank. I don't remember reading about the M3 having an Asbestos lining when reviewing Hunnicutt's book on the Stuart.

Hypnotik: Round 1 grouping is completely random.   For round 2, we order the teams by # of round 1 points (ties are sorted randomly), and do a snake draft.   For the playoffs, the teams get seeded 1-8 by 2nd round points, with ties broken by 1st round points, and then if a tie breaker is still needed, by opponents' total points, and then randomly if still needed.

Hypnotik: There are 64 teams which met the entry requirements. Since 40 teams move on to round 2, that means that 24 teams will be eliminated tonight (and the other 40 will earn 1,000). Hypnotik: I do plan on doing this, but only if the timing works out for the stream, since that is the restriction we face that day. You may have noticed how it's a half hour later than it used to be right now, and that we're also using the tournament system for the battles on stream now too. Doing it this way is working towards a proof of concept that'll allow me to make the last  battles begin at 5 PDT just like the other days, if all goes well.

dance210:   Send them in by round (Group Stage 1, Group Stage 2, Quaterfinals, Finals, etc), preferably. For the group stages, of course you can send them all in after it has been completed (it will make everyone's life easier I'm sure).    And it's a request, not an ultimatum. If they don't get sent in until Monday, teams won't be penalized. I just know it's sometimes easier to stay organized by sending things in as the tournament progresses. :)

dance210: Hi all!   The top 64 teams will be moving on from Group Stage 1 to Group Stage 2. The top 32 teams will be moving on from Group Stage 2 to the Playoffs.   If needed, any teams tied for 32nd place (the cutoff for moving on to the Playoffs) will have a tie-breaker match tonight.     Captains: As a reminder, we would like to request screenshots of all 3 tabs of the after battle report for your matches! Ideally, we would also like screenshots from at least the detailed report from all members of the team.                  Please send those screenshots (and replays, if you wish) to tournaments@wargamingamerica.net after the round has finished.
