dance210:   No. All grassroots tournaments are open to everyone. Being designed for X group, doesn't mean that we exclude group Y.

The_Chieftain:   Suffice to say there was some head-on-desk action when we saw the incident in this office. Whoever put it up was in another office.  

The_Chieftain:   I've noticed that the drawings are not to scale, regardless of the label. I tried photocopying to Pershing line drawings, and held them up to the light together. Definitely not a match.

dance210: Hi 94EXPOS!   Thank you for your suggestion. While we may not use all of them, I love getting player feedback   Each of our grassroots tournaments have a certain function. As Scorpiany mentioned, the Stand-To tournament is designed to be a low commitment (one day, ~1.5 hr) with a low gold prize and few teams earning gold. Why? Simple: the Stand-To is designed for newer tournament players or those who can't/won't/don't want to commit to 5 or 6 days of tournament play. The gold is kept low to reflect to small commitment and to make it attractive to new teams, without drawing in our more seasoned tournament players.   We will consider and discuss the prizing for the Stand-To's going forward; however, there is no guarantee that the gold will be increased.   Thanks again for your feedback!

The_Chieftain:   Back when they were developing the "Combat Action Badge", which is a bayonet and a grenade on a wreath (And was goiing to be called the Close Combat Badge), someone pointed out that the German Army of WW2 had the Close Combat Clasp, and the General Assault Badge, which both used the premise of a wreath, bayonet and grenade. So they generally just changed the name. No big deal.

The_Chieftain: Huh. Bizarrely, now I'm looking at the operator's manual for the M1A1, the elevation/depression of the main gun is not listed. It has it for the loader's MG, and says the turret spins 360, but damned if I can find the official comfort rating.
