Trevzor:   A/D is shorthand for Attack/Defense mode. One team is the attackers, the other defenders (randomly chosen.) The attackers win if they capture one of the two bases on the map or destroy all of the defenders. The defenders win if they destroy all of the attackers or defend the bases until time runs out.

GhostPrime: I'll do some investigations on this. If you send in tickets about it, please do send in a dxiag and python.log file. (With no mods installed) This is so support can gather information if it's confirmed a bug. It also may be on certain hardware. and not other hardware. This is why a dxdiag is needed. The python.log is needed because it shows the information leading up to the crash.

The_Chieftain: I think he's on the right track, though. It's not like all earned things have to be ludicrously hard T-22Sr or LT-15 sorts of things. Most anyone can get an Arpeggio ship, the missions really aren't that impossible. Set a reasonable level which the average person can do, and tell the computer to stop issuing them out as rewards when the first five thousand have been earned, or whatever. Giving them out only for streamers to release just seems daft, unless your only goal is to get people to try to watch more AW streams and less WoT streams. If that's worth the discontent, though, I would think is questionable.

The_Chieftain:   I would take posh, except I am not convinced that United actually does posh. It's still a US flag carrier, with all the wonderful luxury that implies. The difference between business and first seems not to really justify the cost, as near as I can tell. Not that I've ever flown first, just comparing seats and what's on the website.  

The_Chieftain:   Talking with Q, carriers are in for another rework. There's nothing actually wrong with their performance, their stats in battle are right in line where they should be, but only the dedicated are taking their carriers out to play due to enjoyment issues. Personally, I'm half-way through Essex. Both air superiority and strike are viable options, I'm seeing both in reasonable numbers. It's nice to have two torpedo squadrons.  

The_Chieftain:   I've unlocked Gearing so I've stopped playing Fletcher. I'm now only doing a half dozen fires a day on average, between dive bombers and New Orleans 8-inchers. The DD mission was cake in comparison. I got Kongo last week, that was no problem at all.  

The_Chieftain:   Mm. I always run hydrophones. I've a much better chance of ruining a DD's day with it (especially on a nimble, high ROF ship like Kutusov) than I do at stopping airplanes from ruining my day. That said, for a really high base AA ship like a US cruiser, I might reconsider if more CVs show up.   Whelp. I guess I won't be earning the 4202. I'm spending ten of the next 14 days on the road.
