Apparently this is because the Devs are unable to get it to work when compared to the tier 6 Nashorn.

IRL, armor-piercing shells inflict most of their damage by kinetic energy, so both guns would expect to inflict similar damage, even if tanks don't have 'hit points' IRL.
At the same time, the 88mm L/71 had at least 15% higher penetration than the 105mm K.18, so it was the superior gun.
If both guns had historically accurate penetration, and damage was calculated more logically than a simple 'caliber = damage' rule, then the Nashorn would clearly be the stronger TD.
tl;dr the Dicker Max is only superior to the Nashorn because of WoT's failings in historical accuracy and realism. Relegating the Dicker Max to premium only status instead of fixing WoT's flaws is a poor tactic that will cause more problems in the future.

was very surprised to find all tier 10 tanks being around 47% victories on the Russian server,
except for the T110 and the Maus. The E-100 even being 3rd place, while it is last place in the EU
by a good margin and for quite some time without much fluctuation. I found that very surprising and
don't really have an explanation for this phenomenon, but it explains the contradicting claims and
your hesitation to buff the E-100.

Overlord: True that. If your primary goal is to win, tier 10 heavies are not
exactly your choice. Doesn't automatically apply to every player of
course.

Overlord: Depends on what mediums we are talking about. If high tiers - then
it's totally wrong. Tier 8 and 9 meds have got the highest win
ratios of all, especially M26 and Lorraine.

ему снял. Например, у меня был случай (давно, правда, еще в 2010),
когда я с Хуммеля засадил по Маусу на Прохоровке: снял ему всего-то
18%, но поджег, и с 82% он догорел. Все равно ваншот. Так уж
принято...
